LABRANDA Marieta Hotel is in a fantastic location—close to the beach and within walking distance of many local attractions, which made getting around super convenient.
While the hotel has some positives, particularly its friendly and welcoming staff who go out of their way to help, it unfortunately didn’t quite meet our expectations for a 4-star experience. The food was quite average, lacking variety and quality, which was a bit disappointing given the rating.
That said, the service really stood out—the staff are the heart of this hotel and made our stay more enjoyable. With some improvements to the food and overall standards, this hotel could truly live up to its potential.

A very bright and open reception area. The staff on reception were very friendly and super helpful. Our sea view room was lovely with a fab balcony area. We loved the panoramic bar area on the roof. Antonio was an excellent bartender and made a lovely aperol Spritz. The pool bar was not a favorite. The waitress was a bit short with me and removed my umberella because she said it would blow away! The dining area was very well laid out but food could have been better and the egg chef burnt the underside of the eggs every morning. I did appreciate the evening entertainment. All the acts really tried hard and were entertaining. All in all a lovely week spent here and the weather was amazing for the week.

Lovely hotel, service is amazing, all staff are welcoming and kind at all times, very clean, great prices, food is fresh and tasty, spa is immaculate. Pools are lovely and rooftop bar is beautiful. Would recommend and definitely come again. Thank you for an amazing experience in Gran Canaria.

Where to start? We have stayed at this hotel many times and in our opinion it is one of the best we have ever stayed in. It is very clean, all the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Pavel, the entertainments guy is fantastic and has really "upped" the level of things to do during the daytime and makes you feel really at home. The food selection is great. Always a themed night, some foods every evening cooked to order, a great salad bar and desserts bar, and approx 8 selections along the carvery. So for those that say the food is not great, they are lying or have just not looked at all the options. There is something for all nations and tastes. The rooms and balconies are more spacious than any hotel we have stayed at. It is well located, with local shops and is quiet during the daytime, but a short walk or bus ride gets you to a more lively/bubbly area. We are already booked twice more for this year and would not consider staying anywhere else in PDI.

We had a fantastic time at Labranda Marietta! The hotel is clean and comfortable, but the highlight was the entertainment team. Big thanks to Pavel—an amazing animator full of energy and positivity! He made every activity fun and unforgettable. I truly appreciate the staff’s kindness and hard work. Hope to come back soon!
