We arrived very late at night but still received a warm and friendly welcome. As we had missed dinner, the hotel had even arranged some food in our room, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everything about our stay was perfect – the room was spotless with daily cleaning, and the pool area was tidy, peaceful, and very relaxing. Seen comments no space for clothes but there are shelves and drawers so we had no issue to fit in. The staff worked incredibly hard and always went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. They really do everything from car rental to late check out.
I also treated myself to a massage, which was absolutely amazing and exactly what I needed. I’d seen some reviews mentioning the food, but I have to say I was really impressed. Even with my sensitive stomach and dietary needs, I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious Greek cuisine with no issues at all – something I’m very grateful for.
Another highlight for me were the little kittens and cats around the hotel; they were adorable and definitely stole the show at breakfast time. I also loved that the hotel has it's own beach. Honestly, I cannot think of a single thing I didn’t like during our stay. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and I would love to return.Thank you again ❤️

Beautiful, quiet hotel with direct beach access-sea shoes are recommended. The staff were incredibly kind, and breakfast was excellent, blending European and local flavors. Loved the spa, indoor pool, and outdoor gym. Great location, just 40 minutes from Chania. It’s mainly for quiet relaxation, I only wish there were some activities like yoga, but it’s still a wonderful place.
Everything, including my birthday celebration, was perfect. We’ll definitely return!

Wonderful place to enjoy Greece vacation. We were surrounded by kind, sincere people there. The hotel is very aesthetic, everything is made from natural materials. Territory is beautiful, there are a lot of flowers, the view is amazing. Sunbeds are very comfortable, recommend to have watershoes for swimming. The food is delicious. Grateful to La Mer Resort & Spa Team for our unforgettable holiday❤️

Our recent experience at La Mer in Crete was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed by Eva, Jitixa, and Jannis. The breakfast offerings were diverse, featuring fresh juices, a wide selection of fresh fruits, and freshly baked pies infused with local herbs, all served with a smile. The spa center provided a relaxing experience with its heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room, and ice treatment, with Eva offering expert guidance. The service by Anthonis at the beach restaurant, La Brise de Mer, was outstanding, and the charred king prawns and wild Cretan greens with broccolini are highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of experiencing La Mer with my sister, and it was such a relaxing and memorable stay. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and just what we needed.
There was a small inconvenience with our room, but the staff handled it with grace—they kindly upgraded our stay to full board, which included delicious meals throughout our visit. The food was consistently fresh and flavorful, and the service was wonderful.
The beach is the true highlight—calm, clean, and serene. It’s the perfect place to unwind and soak up the beauty of the surroundings. The spa was another standout; the masseuses are incredibly skilled and left us feeling completely restored.
All of the staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be returning to La Mer—it’s the perfect escape when you need rest, beauty, and great service all in one place. Gorgeous stay.
