We had a lovely stay here. This is a family-friendly hotel but it has an ambience where people of all ages can relax - there were plenty of people here without children. Location very good on the coast at the upmarket end of Costa Adeje. We had a sea view double room which was spacious and had a west-facing terrace as promised overlooking the pool and out to sea through palm trees. Food at the main Zeus restaurant was extensive and very varied - last night was sushi night and there has been a huge range of options every breakfast, lunchtime and evening. The house wine on the all-inclusive deal is decent quality - a choice of chardonnay or semillon for white, a garnacha rosé, and a couple of varieties of Rioja crianza. Long service times make it very flexible depending on your daytime activities - but arrive very early or late for a coveted spot on the outside terrace. We also ate at the Italian speciality restaurant Portofino - quality there was equivalent to the main buffet, so you go there for the poolside ambience and a bit of variety rather than a particularly special meal. Pool areas are spacious, spotless and very well serviced. Hotel was full (we were there in UK February half term) but it didn’t feel it - the whole site is large and there are plenty of benches and quiet areas to sit in the shade looking out to sea with drinks and snacks. Staff everywhere were attentive and friendly, including the maid service each day which was cheery and efficient. Special shout out to the lady who organised our tour to the volcano (amazing) and pilot whale watching, and to Maria José and Phierina at the Barito poolside bar who worked very hard running around the pool serving delicious wines and cocktails with unfailing smiles and charm and really made our holiday feel special.

We had an amazing week at The Iberostar Selection Anthelia in Costa Adeje. Hotel was faultless, clean, and staff were brilliant. We loved spending our days around the little smaller top swimming pool. We were all inclusive and had drinks and refreshments all day - Phierina at the pool bar especially looked after us so well, what a lovely lady. She was so friendly and helpful, never left us long without a drink or snack, and even recommended drinks to my partner Kira that she may like as she doesn't drink alcohol. Surprising her with a non alcoholic cocktail now and then. Had some great experience with hotel staff over the years but she went well over and above making our days round the pool so easy.and chilled. Will be back! Great week of winter sun ☀️

We had a fabulous holiday here at Hotel Anthelia, we really love it here. The location is perfect being by the beach so we enjoyed gorgeous sea views from our room and many other lovely sitting areas around the hotel. We were amazed by how spotlessly clean and well presented everything was. There are beautiful plants everywhere all superbly cared for. The big pool area is fantastic as you can sit in comfort enjoying views of the sea and beach without having to get black sand everywhere. There are ample loungers and towels available and very attentive friendly bar staff. There is also another quieter pool area which is more sheltered if you want an alternative vibe. For us the highlight has been the impressive programme of activities available. Fitness activities included sessions of healthy back exercises, stretch, yoga, balance, legs/bums/tums, HIIT, functional training, aquagym, aqua bike all led by professional trainers. Andrea was a real fitness pro, I was so impressed with her ability to smoothly present class after class with such a wide variety of exercises, including using weights and the gym equipment. The gym by the way is very well equipped and open 24/7. I learnt so much, was never bored and always challenged which I enjoyed. Lukas has a wonderful skill of making fitness fun for all abilities and his aqua fit sessions were always popular and had everyone smiling and laughing. In general I would say this is a happy hotel. Staff are friendly and kind and because of the atmosphere and activities guests talk to each other. We loved doing the craft activities which surprised me as I would never describe myself as ‘arty’. Highlights were making pendants out of recycled glass, scented candles and bead bracelets. All very usable. Evening entertainment was plentiful with a range of singers, tribute acts , heart-in-mouth acrobatics, casino night and a magic show. But if you feel like being quiet you can easily retreat to your room or another sitting area. We enjoyed the buffet food which offers an incredible range of options including the ability to have pieces of fresh fish or meat cooked for you as you wait. Breakfast is also fabulous and I think offers everything anyone might possibly want for breakfast both cooked and cold. Overall we had a fab time and would love to return next year. If you want a fun, friendly, comfortable holiday in the sunshine don’t hesitate, Hotel Anthelia won’t disappoint.

Came here for a half term getaway from the UK in search of sun and chill. Really pleased we did! Staff are exceptionally attentive (Mirian at the pool bar in particular really looked after us - brilliant representative of the team there!). No issues getting a poolside lounger, food in the buffet restaurant the best we’ve had on a package holiday, & awesome weather. The team really looked after us responding to every request promptly and with a genuine warmth. 100% recommended!

We are only three days into our holiday, and I honestly couldn’t wait until the end to write this review. That’s how confident we are in saying this place is nothing short of spectacular already!
From the moment we arrived, the service has been outstanding. The staff simply cannot do enough for you always walking around smiling, happy, and genuinely wanting to help. It creates such a warm, positive atmosphere. The little treats and surprises left in our room have been such thoughtful touches and really show the care and attention to detail here.
The buffet service is unbelievable. The quality and variety are exceptional, so much so that we haven’t even ventured out to eat anywhere else. There’s just no need!
A very special mention to Miriam by the poolside. She has been absolutely incredible, so attentive, constantly checking if we’d like drinks, food, or anything at all. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her. She has made us feel completely looked after.
We are the Robinson family enjoying this holiday, and we can honestly say this has already been an unforgettable experience, and we’re only three days in! We feel so confident that we’ll be returning time and time again.
