Do not be fooled by the beautiful pictures online; the reality at this hotel is a complete disaster. They might pretend to care during the first few days, but after that, the mask slips and you are left with atrocious service.
The staff behaves as if helping paying guests is a massive chore. They are incredibly rude, unhelpful, and completely lack basic hospitality skills. The atmosphere in the restaurant is tense and disorganized. You literally have to fight for attention just to get basic service, and when you do, you are treated with pure arrogance.
The buffet is a joke—cold, bland, and repetitive, with zero regard for quality or hygiene. On top of that, the pool is uncomfortably freezing, making it completely useless. This place is nothing more than a cheap tourist trap hiding behind a luxury label. Avoid this hotel if you don't want your holiday ruined.
The people who rated this an 5 star hotel....you never been to an 5 star hotel at all 😌

We arrived at the hotel 2nd September for a 14 night stay. The reception staff gave us a warm and friendly welcome. It is worth upgrading to a Seaview Room especially on the top floor.
On entering the room we were so happy it was fabulous it was kept to a high standard of cleanliness by the lovely house keepers.
Restaurant hostess were lovely & friendly. The all-inclusive food was presented well and tasted great so much choice ( compliments to the chef for the stunning Mousaaka ).
At breakfast & lunch we were served by Emmanuela she was so friendly as if we had known her for ages. The evening we always went to George he was lovely ( forgot to give me some Olive Oil to take home ) 🤣
The bar staff worked really hard we never waited long for a drink. Elli was so lovely with a beautiful smile. Evening entertainment was great. Chloe. Joanne & Alessandro worked really hard keeping on top of their schedual. Pool area and beach was kept clean with staff keeping us hydrated.
We chose this Hotel so that we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings after a tough few years being diagnosed with breast cancer 🩷.
Well done to all staff for making our holiday a memorable one. Xx 🫶

Fantastic all inclusive holiday! Lovely warm welcome and taken up to our rooms. The staff here are friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to ensure that our large group were always seated together in the dining room. Around the pools and on the beach the staff would come and take drinks orders and deliver them to us. A big shout out to Manwella who was just amazing. Bus stop 29 is a a 5 min walk from the hotel and takes you to Héraklion for only 4 Euro per person!
Ignore the review that says no direct access to the beach from the hotel (unless you require step free access). There is a single flight of stairs just outside the dining room which takes you out to the rear of the hotel, then turn left and the path goes right onto the beach.

It says everywhere you are not allowed to reserve sunbeds. I come down early in the morning, and all the sunbeds are already “taken” — just towels, no people. Only a few guests are actually there, but every single spot is blocked. I asked at the reception, and they did absolutely nothing about it.
The staff clearly don’t care, and the hotel doesn’t follow its own rules. Very disappointing experience — if you don’t wake up at sunrise, you won’t get a place by the pool. Definitely not what you expect from a 5-star resort

It is bang on the sea front, private beach.. two pools nice a quiet not many kids 😎
Day 1 : No faults found here, just lovely staff, great sea views and loads of sun ☀️
Day 3 : Room east 214 , location outside of room service store/staff room, loads of noise from 6:30 onwards. View from balcony not nice, unfinished buildings and smell of fat fryer coming from kitchens
Day 4 : staff in lounge and pool bar are great, but not enough of them on busy nights, come out of dining room at 9:10pm and sat down to watch the “international dancers” in the lounge BUT did not get a drink until after 10:35 !! Shocking
Big problem with lack of sun beds ! You need to throw your towel down onto a sun bed around 8:30am to stand a chance of having somewhere to rest during the day..
These are all negatives I know, but they do wear you down, but we did make the most of our Five Star ?? Holiday, but will not be coming back, sorry
BTW the one Music CD they have on a loop that is always playing in the background is great … but on day 6 it is getting a little boring.. just saying 🙃
