We stayed at Hollywood Mirage for a week. Place looked great at first, but not for long. On the second night of our stay we have discovered the place is full of cockroaches. You could see them on the halls and in bathrooms. The place looks great on the outside but the rooms are not too clean. You could see dust all over the room. We had a cleaning lady come in once during our stay to change the sheets and give fresh towels.
On the positive note, the hotel gives you free bus connection to the beach. The hotel is located on a hill, so taking a bus directly to the hotel is a huge plus.
Food was average as it usually is in hotels, so no complaints here. If you want to try nice Spanish cuisine, go to a restaurant.

Just back from a 5 day stay. This is definitely not a 4 star. At best a 3. Rooms dirty and sofa bed very shabby and full of stains. Few cockroachs in apartment. I had to clean apartment myself. Cleaner appeared once to wallop round the room with a dirty cloth and a mop bucket of dirty water. We didn't sit on furniture due to it being dirty. Apartment smelt musty. I would not recommend due to poor hygiene. Rooms are very spacious. We had booked to 2 apartments and it cost us £3000 for a 5 day stay. Looks 100 times better on pics than in reality.

Well where do we starts. Well it’s definitely not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are dirty with only once a week cleaning for the week even then it was just a brush round and some new towels. When we arrived who ever was in there last left everything behind. Like lotions etc the floor was dirty the shower hardly worked at all.. if you want breakfast all the hot food is practically look warm. There isn’t a bad selection. That’s if you want random things for your breakfast. With regards to the pool it is clean and warm. But don’t expect anything from the life guard who just sits in a corner on his phone. Twice this week other people dived into the pool to help kids while he stayed on his phone.. over all of you wanted somewhere to kip as a hostel this would be the place.

It is a good location and fairly quiet although it is more of a family or young group place. The pools are a decent size and it's not too hard to find free beds.
We didn't use any of the entertainment or food on offer.
One thing to bring up is that the self catered apartments could do with extra cleaning stuff provided and maybe rewashed dishes after the previous occupants as I had to wash all the dishes again before using them.
Also, there was vomit on the pavement leading out of the compound and by the time we left there were about 7 puddles, all days old.

We spent a week here and really enjoyed our holiday.
The staff are all very friendly and professional.
We only stayed B&B and found the food to be very good.
We never once experienced "cold" hot food as others had said, even on the occasions when we arrived quite late.
There was a couple of occasions where there was a shortage of cups and plates, but that was sorted within minutes, so no biggy.
The complex was clean overall, but my main gripe at the main pool is the scramble to get sunbeds and the lifeguards not taking towels off unused beds by selfish occupants.
The supermarket on site is well stocked, but there is a bigger and cheaper one a five minute walk away.
There are three pools that can be used, but we mainly used the main one.
Cristianos is a 20 ish minute walk away, all down hill, and a good workout walking back up, so if you have mobility issues, then the reception staff will order a taxi for you.
My one gripe was that towels and beds and pool towels were only changed once a week.
But again that's only a minor issue on what was a pleasant stay.
