The "Renovation"
Esencia was heavily hyped as a new opening this year, but the reality is that it’s only partially finished. There are definitely some improvements—the new room design, bathrooms, and furniture look nice initially. However, the illusion is completely ruined when you realize they kept the 20-year-old floor tiles and outdated interior doors. The old doors and floors severely clash with the brand-new furniture; it looks bad and feels like a massive cut corner. On the exterior, they painted the doors bright orange but completely ignored actual structural repairs needed on the building itself.
Dining
The dedicated restaurant in the Esencia area wasn't even open during our stay. Instead of a relaxed, exclusive dining experience, we were forced to eat in the main restaurant, which was loud and overcrowded with people. It completely defeated the purpose of booking this section of the hotel. To be honest, the hotel management realised they wouldn't be able to fully open the Esencia area, so they offered a discount in advance and upgraded our board basis. A very nice gesture from the hotel.
Staff & Customer Service
The bar teams seem to have zero interest in actually serving guests. At the Coral Bar, a bartender named Moha spent most of his day on his phone on loudspeaker. He clearly doesn't care about the customers, as you literally have to stand and wait for him to pause his personal conversation just to ask for a drink. It’s pathetic. We experienced a similar issue at the main pool bar, where the staff were too busy chatting with each other to acknowledge the guests. There is a definite lack of a customer service manager to keep things running properly. Between the half-hearted room renovations, the closed facilities, and the highly unprofessional bar staff, this was an incredibly average stay. Management really needs to step up.
Update 13 June
Today they have opened a new restaurant for Esencia guests. Overnight, all sun loungers were replaced with brand-new ones. This makes a huge difference to my earlier opinion. I still don’t like the old-fashioned doors in the rooms, but the whole Esencia area looks very ery nice and is of a high standard. The new restaurant is very nice and modern. Happy to be here. I am probably the first one posting a pictures from new restaurant.I have already booked a few stays during the winter season at great prices, and I can't wait to go back.

We stayed here in April as a family of 2 adults and a 3-year-old child, and we had a wonderful holiday.
The staff were amazing—always friendly, helpful, and professional. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice and great quality every day.
A special highlight was the heated children's pool, which our little one absolutely loved. It made our stay even more enjoyable.
We also highly recommend the photographer available at the hotel. We had beautiful family photos taken at a very reasonable price, and the results were fantastic.
Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this hotel to families with children and would happily return in the future!

We spent a week at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The hotel has both strengths and weaknesses.
On the positive side, the food selection was very good. There was a wide variety of dishes available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and everyone could find something they liked. The lobby area is also beautiful, modern, and welcoming.
However, there were several downsides. By the end of May, the pool areas were already extremely crowded. There was very little space around the pools, and the sunbeds were placed so close together that it felt uncomfortable. As a result, we did not spend a single day by the pool during our entire stay.
The selection of drinks included in the all-inclusive package was also quite limited.
During our stay, I would describe the hotel as one giant kindergarten. Children were everywhere. While this is certainly great for families, I would recommend creating a separate dining area for adults who do not have children and who come on holiday to relax without constantly hearing crying, screaming, and noise from all directions.
If you are traveling with children, this hotel is probably the perfect choice for you.
One piece of advice: rent a car for the entire duration of your stay and explore the nearby beaches. The beach next to the hotel is surrounded by other hotels and lacks the charm and privacy that can be found elsewhere in the area.
Overall, the hotel offers good food and nice facilities, but couples and adults seeking a peaceful and relaxing holiday may find it less suitable, especially during busy periods.

I had a wonderfully relaxing holiday at Club Jandía Princess in Fuerteventura. The resort provides real comfort throughout, with beautiful, clean rooms and several pools to suit both quiet relaxation and more active days. There are good sports facilities on site, as well as nightly entertainment that creates a fun atmosphere without feeling overwhelming.
The staff were consistently warm and friendly, always helpful and welcoming. The food options were varied and fresh, with plenty of choice for different tastes. The resort itself is well maintained, with lovely gardens and spacious areas to unwind.
The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach, where you can enjoy long coastal walks and stunning ocean views. Nearby, there are local shops, cafés, and excursion options, making it easy to explore the area or book island activities.
Overall, it was a most relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a comfortable holiday in a beautiful beachside setting.

We went during Easter week and received a very warm welcome. The rooms were very well maintained and clean. The food was excellent, with great options although the waiters take quite a while to clean the tables and aren't very attentive. The gym is okay, but nothing out of the ordinary, and it's not open 24 hours. It opens around 7 am and closes at 7 pm, but if you're an early riser, I recommend going for a run. The beach is beautiful. However, I found the activities they offer for entertainment repetitive and quite boring. The boys have absolutely no imagination; they seem like robots. only two or three of them are good....the rest are robots, I found it a bit pointless that most of them were Italian while in Spain; it felt like I was on an Italian island instead of a Spanish one which doesn't make sense, because if I wanted to go to an Italian island, I'd be happy to hear more Italian than any other language, and the atmosphere I was expecting was more Spanish than Italian. I didn't expect that. The rest of the hotel is perfect, the pools are fantastic, one of them is heated to 24 degrees, perfect for children, the water is always clean and very well maintained. There's a bar open in the evenings. It's a place where you can watch sports and have drinks while chatting or simply watching the game. All in all, it's a great option for a family vacation.
