I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The best part was definitely the location—the hotel is really close to the beach, which made it very convenient to spend time by the sea. I also enjoyed the pool, which was clean and a great place to relax during the day. Another highlight was the air conditioning in the room, which worked perfectly and kept me comfortable even during the hottest hours. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which I really appreciated.
However, I was quite disappointed with the food. During my week-long stay, I only had one meal that was actually filling and enjoyable. Most of the time, the food was not to my taste, and on some days, it even made me feel unwell—I actually had stomach problems after one of the dinners. This was a big letdown, as I was hoping for a better dining experience.
Sleeping at night was also a challenge because of the loud music that played until late. It was hard to get a good night’s rest with so much noise coming from the hotel’s entertainment area. Another thing I found strange was the dinner dress code: men were only allowed to enter the restaurant in long trousers, while women could wear even very short skirts. This felt a bit unfair and inconsistent.
Overall, while the hotel’s location and some of its facilities were great, the food and nighttime noise made my stay less enjoyable. I would recommend it for the beach and pool, but not if you’re looking for good food or quiet nights.

We stayed at this hotel and absolutely loved it! Don Gregory by Dunas is a gorgeous hotel with a very high level of service. Everything is spotless and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
Yes, the rooms are a bit dated in terms of decor, but that hardly matters — the stunning ocean view more than makes up for it. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise from the balcony is truly priceless.
The food deserves special praise. Lunch and dinner are absolutely delicious and offer an impressive variety every day: beef, lamb, rabbit, chicken, turkey, two types of fish, shrimp, mussels, pizzas, burgers, a wide range of desserts, and plenty of fresh fruit. There’s something for every taste. Breakfasts are always the same, but still very tasty and satisfying. The selection of alcoholic drinks at the bar and during lunch/dinner is excellent and of good quality.
The entertainment program is fantastic. It’s very convenient that the schedule is displayed on a big screen in the hotel lobby. A special thank you to the animator Andrew — incredibly energetic, sociable, and a true professional who brings so much life and fun to the atmosphere! The yoga and aqua aerobics classes were amazing — well organized and very enjoyable.
The hotel is located right by the ocean and next to a beautiful promenade. If you walk to the left from the hotel, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and cliffs and eventually reach a neighboring beach. If you go to the right, there’s a long 8–9 km walk along the coast that leads to one of the main attractions — the Maspalomas Dunes.
I absolutely recommend this hotel and I’m sure I’ll come back again! ❤️

I’ve just spent a week at this wonderful hotel. Can’t fault anything. Great food. Great entertainment and such lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble and spotlessly clean. Would certainly return without a moments hesitation

The place has a great atmosphere, quiet and peaceful. Adults Only.
Wonderful location: the hotel is situated in a small, cozy bay with warm sand and the relaxing sound of the ocean.
I especially liked that there’s a promenade nearby, but it’s very narrow and doesn’t get in the way. From the hotel’s terrace, where the bar and restaurant are located, it’s barely visible, and instead, you get a stunning view of the ocean.
The beach is public but very clean. Renting two sunbeds and an umbrella costs 9 euros for the whole day.
Entertainment: yoga, aqua aerobics, bocce on the beach. Everything is very relaxing. Live music or quizz in the evening.
Food: we had half-board, which was more than enough. Breakfasts are standard but tasty, and smth different for dinner every day. Good choice of drinks in the bar.
Thanks a lot!
