Beautiful hotel. Spotless and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. We had no issues with a family of four staying here. Food was lovely and fresh, with a wide variety of multicultural foods to try. We wouldn't have an issue staying here again. The only downside is that the check-in time is from 3 pm, but the staff allowed us to have lunch and drinks while we waited for our room.
Pools are lovely, and there's plenty of entertainment on site. The 41/42 & 222 bus take you basically everywhere round the island, and cost €2 per person... just be warned though, their driving is scary, and the busses do get rammed!
There's only a few bars and a couple of souvenir shops near the hotel, but if you don't mind venturing out like we did, you'll find loads more shops near the built-up areas.

Long term fans of the DBSeabank. This is our 7th visit. It's a "generational holiday" with grandma, us and the kids. We take advantage of the all inclusive plus package which is the best value upgrade of any holiday in Malta.
This year Jiban was a real highlight of our break, he makes a selection of amazing cocktails - and it's worth trying them all. The rest of the Plus team were incredible (Isham was awesome, Donald in the sportsbar is brilliant as well.).
Every day our family breakfast was cooked by an amazing chef, to order, and accompanied by coffee, tea or Prosecco:). We were treated to a range of tasty healthy snacks throughout the day and lots of lovely wine.
If we needed to book a restaurant or just needed a little help Jonathan was always on hand to make sure we were treated well, the guy is a hero.
Massive thank you to Marion who looked after all of us like family. She is an asset to DB and a credit to the hospitality industry.

Visited over Christmas.
Great hotel, great location, friendly staff. The food was also amazing, although they could have done better in the salad selection and have more vegetables and fruits. Overall the room was amazing, spacious, but unfortunately the toilet kept on smelling of urine, even after the housekeepers attended to it. I presume they were not using detergent to clean it.
The blue throw on the beddings could do with a bit of washing or changing after every guest. Ours didn't look like it had been changed.
Other than that, we enjoyed our stay, loved the hotel and the kids loved the kids club and evening entertainment.
Would definitely visit again.

This Hotel is a travesty, to anyone who scores this hotel more than 1 star, obviously you don't stay in decent hotels or Google needs to start verifying reviews being made, ie, not being made by hotel owners and the like...
After an hour delay of getting into 1st room, it was full of ants, then we got moved to another room.
The food is an assault to your digestive system, both me and my daughter have had a bought of sickness during our 7 day stay. Then the family from hell moved into room 4461(included for the hotels reference), started rowing and fighting (you could actually hear the punches and slaps). Had to ring reception 4x who did nothing. Then I physically went to reception to complain, who said he couldn't do anything, shrugged his shoulders with a hapless smirk. Who knew the people of Malta encouraged physical violence with small children and a baby in the room. But still, the hotel thought that booking us into the Salia restaurant was a treat to keep us quiet.
The hotel doesn't take in to consideration the temperature, will only switch air con on on the 1st May, like it's the law, use your sense, the rooms are boiling hot, so you have to have the balcony doors open, which you get cigarette smoke coming in to your room because the hotel allows smoking on balcony.
Be weary of the food, esp the chicken and the pork, I quite often sat down at the table to cut the meat and it was still pink in the middle.
The hotel manager waddles around in his blue suit and his claw like hand gripping his mobile phone, looking to see if he can save 50cents here and there. Woe betides if there's a aircon unit switched on, he almost breaks into tears.
The pool is a dangerous location to be in too, poorly maintained and corners obviously cut. Broken tiles and the like all ready to slice kids feet open (3 kids this week during our stay). They were in reception with the incidents being reported but I bet they couldn't help, as this seems to be their stock answer.
This hotel is a joke, if I could award it zero stars, I would. So if you like zero customer service, food that you would give to a pig, your kids feet being cut open by tiles around the swimming pool, then, this really is the hotel for you.
Cleanliness of the room is also an issue, the rooms smell damp and musty as do the corridors. Don't know what's wrong with it but sometimes it made us wretch.
It's almost like the hotel presents itself as a million dollar enterprise but operates with a budget of 50 cents. If Mr Blue suit can't afford to run the hotel safely within budget then sell it on to someone who can.
We came to this hotel as a 7 person group and all 7 people could not wait till we can leave and get back to the airport, even my 3 year old said she cannot wait to go home.
To summerise all I can say is, "don't do it" when you contemplate booking this hotel, it really will ruin your holiday. There's better cardboard boxes blowing around Malta than this hotel.

We recently stayed at db Seabank Resort & Spa for four days at the end of March, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and taken care of by the wonderful staff.
A special mention goes to Ms. Marion Spiteri, the Guest Relations Manager, whose professionalism and attention to detail made our stay extra special. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a seamless experience.
The AI+ dining experience was outstanding, thanks to Chef Johnny, who prepared delicious meals with great variety and quality. Every dish was crafted with care, and we truly appreciated the effort put into catering to all tastes.
We would also love to give credit to the amazing team members who made our stay memorable: Jiban, Nisha, Reda, Darren, Mina, Sontosh, and Jonathan. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication to excellent service did not go unnoticed. They always had a smile on their faces and were ready to assist with anything we needed.
Thank you, db Seabank Resort & Spa, for an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!
