We had a fantastic experience at the Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa. The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms were clean and cozy, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. The staff was exceptionally kind and always available to help with anything we needed.
The location is great, with plenty of restaurants nearby and convenient bus stops within walking distance. We also rented a car from the office just across the road, which was super convenient for exploring the island.
One of the highlights was the adults-only rooftop pool and the pool bar, perfect for unwinding in peace. We also loved dining at the terrace restaurant, which offers a magnificent panoramic view, especially at sunset. The Asian fusion food was delicious and made the experience even more memorable.

We visited this hotel — and Malta — for the first time (my wife, our 3-year-old son, and I). Unfortunately, our son got sick, and our trip didn’t go as planned. We ended up staying only 2 out of the 6 nights we had booked.
However, I’m writing this review to leave my warmest compliments and heartfelt thanks to the hotel and its staff. The security team, housekeepers, receptionists, managers, and waiters were incredibly kind and helpful to us — from giving us information about how to get Medical assistance to assisting with extra cleaning services, and even offering thoughtful little gestures to cheer up our son.
As for the hotel itself, we booked an excellent room with a hot tub. Everything was spotlessly clean and absolutely wonderful — the facilities, the view, and the hot tub were all perfect. Breakfast was also outstanding, with everything fresh and of the highest quality.
Without a doubt, once our son is a little older, we will come back to finally enjoy the experience we couldn’t have this time due to this unexpected situation.

We started with only planning on staying 2 nights. But quickly stayed for 5 nights because we loved it here so much! This did require a room change, since we were originally in an accessible room, which was no big deal. Both rooms were great!
Most importantly, it was very clean here! The rooftop pool was wonderful, the delicious drinks were decently priced, and the restraunts were convenient and very tasty!
The bus stop was across the street, which made it easy to travel, as well as ample space for a taxi/ride share to pick us up. Everything is so close in malta, so it was no big deal to travel around the island and getting back to the hotel.
The beach is in walking distance, but it is about 15 minutes up/down the hill in the heat, so I'd suggest to just take the bus.

This hotel is an absolute gem! Located just 2 minutes away from the Parish Church of Mellieha, it offers unbeatable convenience for exploring the area. But the real highlight is the stunning view from the rooftop terrace.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is spotless, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed, providing everything you could need for a comfortable stay.
Whether you’re here to relax or explore, this place has it all. Highly recommended.

My mother and I had a wonderful 4-night stay. The room was spacious and had enough space for two small cabin bags to be emptied, hung up/ put away/ the bags tucked away.
The breakfast was wonderful, in a sunken, sun-soaked courtyard outside. There was a wide range of options (buffet) with an omelette station and decent coffee.
The hotel itself is deceptively large and labyrinthine: We managed to find a way to get to our 3rd floor room without using the two sets of elevators, but it is fully accessible for those less able.
The gym is decent, above average for a hotel gym with decent weights.
The spa was also really enjoyable, although the sauna was not hot enough on one day and not working the second day. Slightly disappointing that we weren't notified of this when we went down to the spa, we were just left to find out. But massage treatments were 10/10 and no complaints on the steam room.
The beach is a steep 20 min walk away, but with full pedestrian access. I enjoyed the walk but my mother took one of the many, very frequent buses to/ from the bay, which was €2.50 each way. Cards accepted.
The area is quite quiet, full of winding streets and interesting pieces of history. There are a range of restaurants in the town, and we did not try the hotel restaurant for dinner. We also didn't spend any time by either of the pools so I can't comment on those.
Overall, the hotel is delightful, clean, well-priced and family friendly. The staff were helpful and welcoming. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.
