Room spacious and clean, no complaints. Nice bar and lounge area. I have food intolerances and contacted hotel in advance regarding this. Michelle in the restaurant deserves a special mention. She and her team went above and beyond to address this. Every morning the menu was discussed and the evening meal was adjusted to meet my needs. I am so grateful to her and the chefs for this. This doesn't always happen so well done everyone, I really appreciate it.

Great Views, Mixed Service, Choose Your Room Wisely...
It’s a nice hotel with good rooms, a nice breakfast, and a good selection for dinner. We really enjoyed our stay.
I can’t say the reception service is excellent—when you ask something, it feels like they just want to give a quick answer and move you along. Also, try to choose a room in the main building with a balcony; otherwise, think of it mainly as a place to sleep, as there isn’t much comfort.
The rooftop bar, pool, and seating area are great. You get an amazing view of the church, Mellieħa town, and the Mediterranean Sea right below you.
“By the way, Maltese people always seem to find something to celebrate — there are parades almost all the time! 😊”
There are many restaurants, bars, and historical sites nearby, and you can walk to the beach as well (though I recommend taking a bus on the way back—it’s very steep!).

Decent accommodation with comfortable rooms. We are in a lower priced room without a balcony or sea/courtyard view. It is clean, practical and spacious with everything we need for a week here. Staff have been friendly and efficient. I have no knowledge of the more expensive rooms (with balconies and better views), but would happily recommend for a very cost effective holiday.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks and it was ideal for our needs. Rooftop pool with bar that would bring drinks and food to you, and we found it great as a couple as kids were not allowed in the rooftop for safety reasons, hence why we didn’t go to the garden or indoor pool but it was a great option for families. Breakfast was very good and the items kept rotating daily for cakes and sweets so you had different options. The room was nice and freshly made daily, we also had a little balcony which did not have an ashtray and my partner is a smoker so he was a bit annoyed for that. Front desk staff was kind and welcoming and helped us with any questions. The spa was great too. I went there twice for a facial and a back, shoulder and neck massage. They go through everything with you. Room service was also quick and efficient. The only problem I experienced was I had to call them 3 times to pickup the tray and they never came so we left the tray in front of our door as we didn’t want it to sit in our room for the night. The room had buttons on the side for service or do not disturb. We found them to be a bit useless as the HSK staff would knock even with the button on but when we put the do not disturb sign physically on the door they didn’t knock. At check in you get a booklet with tours sold by an agency next door which was a convenient spot. The restaurant gives a 10% discount to residents so that was a nice touch. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

We are really enjoying our stay overall. The room is excellent, and the services have been great. However, there is one major issue that affected our comfort: the very strong perfume used in the bedrooms. It seems to be coming from the central air-conditioning system. The smell is extremely intense and has made us feel unwell, even causing a burning sensation in our throats. Unfortunately, we can also notice the same strong scent in the restaurant.
Aside from this, everything else has been very good, but we hope the hotel considers adjusting or removing the fragrance from the central AC, as it can be overwhelming for guests who are sensitive to strong smells.
