Great hotel. Accommodation was fine (though we did move rooms due to a growing ants nest). Pools are lovely and not too busy, we were always able to get loungers.
We went B&B which was definitely the right choice. We had one evening meal in the main restaurant and it was volume over flavour. Plenty of good restaurants to choose from nearby for similar money but greater quality (including two in-house).

Lovely hotel, nice rooms which were kept clean, great pool areas including swim up bar. Had no trouble finding a sunbed. Only minor issues to be aware of is that all pool areas close at 7pm.
Breakfast had a wide range of options and staff were friendly.

Well located hotel in the heart of the St Paul's Bay resort.
We stayed as all-inclusive guests and always found that there was plenty to eat and drink within the very liberal limits of the scheme.
Our room was comfortable, well equipped and quiet with all the stuff you'd expect of a modern hotel. The air conditioners was very effective and not too noisy at night.
All of the staff, from reception to the bars, were friendly and approachable - nothing was too much trouble.

Currently staying here and the hotel in general is of a good standard. Pool areas are very good, clean and not too busy.
Food quality is good with good selection though it can be a bit hectic as it's such a large hotel
Staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a good location close to shops, restaurants and bars.
After an initial issue with our room the hotel very generously and quickly resolved the problem much to our satisfaction.
I would recommend the Dolmen for several reasons amongst them being friendly helpful staff.

We didn’t pay for upgrade and the first room which we got was a disaster, definitely doesn’t match the 4* quality. Small bed (140cm), very used bad smell mattress. Room so small that you couldn’t even move. The view on lumber. Can’t understand how it’s possible to accommodate clients there.
Luckily the staff was very helpful and relocated us to the same quality of room (standard) since the upgrade was not possible due to full capacity of hotel. Honestly, it was totally something different. The room was spacious, no carpet but tile floor, huge closet and nice view.
The food was good with several choices, lots of meat, fish as well as vegetables, but it was repeated. I had there one of the best cakes honestly. Their white chocolate cheesecake with pistachio is a must try! Unlimited wine/beer for lunch and dinner. Restaurant has a stunning sea view. Sometimes was restaurant a bit noisy thanks to full capacity of hotel.
The hotel is clean and nicely located on the hill close to the bus station and offers perfectly maintained garden with many pools. We recommend Dolmen :)
