I really enjoyed my stay here. Stayed for 4 nights in the beginning of October in a standard double with sea view room on all inclusive basis. I can not find a fault in the room or the hotel. It was very clean and comfortable although a bit of a maze until you got used to the lay out. The food was really nice did not have a bad meal at all and the opening times are very easy to work around. We only used the downstairs outside pool area during our stay and there were plenty of sunbeds and the bar close by. Even better you could just walk through a gate then be able to jump into the bay for some open water swimming and snorkeling with all the fish there. We used the spa on our first day there. The spa is ran separately from the hotel so you have to go to them to book but at certain times you can see the spar staff standing by the pool and restaurant entrances and they offer discounts. We got 30% off our deep tissue massages and left feeling like a cloud. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. We have booked to go back august 2026 for a week this time as matla is beautiful.

I had a wonderful four night stay here. The hotel was spotless throughout, and the service from the reception team was exceptional, special thanks to the gentleman who checked our room out at 5am on 24/12. Breakfast was enjoyable, and although I didn’t use the pool or sauna facilities, everything seemed well maintained.
A couple of small downsides: the room walls are quite thin, so outside noise carries easily, and there’s a €10 deposit required for a gym towel to use the gym. Still, overall, it was a great stay and I’d happily return.

Very Disappointing and Poorly Organized
We stayed at Quara Hotel for 5 nights on an all-inclusive package, and unfortunately the experience was extremely frustrating due to very poor organization around dining.
The main buffet restaurant (Da Villa) is supposed to be the primary dining hall, while the other specialty restaurants require reservations. We booked the Japanese restaurant through the reception for our family, but when we arrived, the supervisor told us we were not booked for everyone. When I explained that the booking was done by the reception, she simply said it was not her problem. This is unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.
The biggest disappointment happened on New Year’s Eve. We queued to enter the main buffet restaurant (Da Villa), only to be told that we had to book dinner and even lunch in advance. When we tried to check the system it showed there was no space available even though we were standing right there waiting to eat! We have stayed in many all-inclusive hotels and normally the main buffet does not require booking. Only special or themed restaurants should need reservations. If reservations are required, the hotel should clearly inform guests, or the reception should organize it properly. None of that happened here.
Everything was very confusing, badly managed, and caused unnecessary stress during what should have been a relaxing holiday. The location is great and some of the staff are friendly, but the lack of communication and poor management completely ruined the experience for us.
We would not choose to stay here again, and I would not recommend this hotel unless they seriously improve their organization and guest communication.

I honestly don’t understand how this place claims to be a 4-star hotel. I’ve stayed in 3-star hotels that were far better than this one. From the moment we arrived, it was nothing but stress and disappointment.
We got to the hotel early in the morning around 10am, fully aware that check-in was at 3pm. I politely asked if we could check in a little earlier since we had been up since 2am and were traveling with our 2-year-old. The receptionist simply said, “No, it has to be 3pm,” with no empathy or effort to help us. So we spent hours walking around, exhausted, trying to keep our child settled.
When we finally returned at 3pm for check-in, they told us our room still wasn’t ready! At that point, I was beyond frustrated — my little one was overtired and crying, and it was completely unacceptable.
Housekeeping was another disaster. By the third day, no one had cleaned our room or changed the bedsheets. I had to go down to reception and ask for clean bedding myself — not once, but three separate times before anything was done.
The food was awful. I booked all-inclusive, and I seriously regret it. The food was the same every day, bland, and clearly made without care. It felt like the chefs didn’t even try. If you’re considering all-inclusive here — don’t. You’ll be better off eating elsewhere.
The only positive thing I can say is that the rooms are a decent size and fairly clean, but that’s about it. The poor service, lack of care, and terrible food completely ruin the experience.
I would never return to this hotel, and I strongly advise others to stay away. Save your money and go somewhere that actually deserves its star rating.

Lovely clean hotel all staff were friendly and informative. Stayed on half board plus basis. Paid slightly more for a sea view room which I highly recommend. The main restaurant is always busy but we always easily found a table. The food was good and plentiful with unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks. The only queues were for the toaster and coffee stations. Went into each of the speciality restaurants and found each one excellent. The outdoor pool areas were nice with lots of sunbeds available for use though the pools themselves were a little on the cool side. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
