I stayed in the Topaz Hotel for 7 nights with my mom and dad. We have been leaving this hotel with precious memories and smiles on our faces; in other words, we have enjoyed the stay and would gladly come back whenever one of us would be in Malta again.
What we appreciated the most was the staff working there - almost everyone we met on our way in the hotel was kind and suprisingly willing to talk with us about not only the hotel, but also Malta in general, and often times we would get personal tips on how to get around on the island and what to see. There is not any problem with language barriers when it comes to english too, even though almost nobody from the staff is Maltese. We felt welcome and seen there - especially when some staff members would sometimes just smile at you for no reason.
The hotel is of course not top-shelf, but is everything and a little more that what you would expect from a 3-star hotel. The location is fairly decent and you can get to a number of bus stops in a couple of minutes. The rooms are simple, clean and have everything you really need, and the beds are comfy. The food is diverse - you have what to choose from and what I mean by "diverse" is that some of the food is just without a taste, some of it is mid and also some of it is just mouthwatering and I admit that I could't stop eating for example the meatballs, the lasagna, sausages, some of the meats there and more. I believe that everyone will find something that they like there. In the "emerald restaurat" which is the hotel's diner, me and my parents met some really sweet people that work there in the diner. We remember two sisters that we talked with often - Rachana and Salina. They oftentimes kept us company for a couple for minutes during breakfast and dinner, laughed with us, asked some questions and also answered ours. At our last breakfast we all took a photo together to remember our stay (photo below) We recall these short moments with gratitude - thank you Rachana and Salina 😁😊
We recommend this hotel for everyone who wants a nice hotel for a fair price where they can feel welcome. The only drawback I would give is the unfortunate hours at which both the interior and the outside pool is open - it's around from 9.00 A.M to 6.00 P.M - and when we came back everyday around 7.00 P.M after a whole day of sightseeing we couldn't relax there. Thank you Topaz Hotel! Greeting from Poland to everyone working there 🇲🇹✨️🤍

Very good price for the value. The hotel is very clean. Just the carpet in the floors is old. The rooms and the furniture got a good makeover and look brand new. Bed is clean and comfy. Breakfast offers a good range of food. The hotel even offers a small indoor pool. The outdoor pool looks nice but it's too cold in December to use it. I would definitely return in a warmer season. Bugibba is not the most exciting place of Malta, but there is a bus stop around the corner with direct connection to the top locations, like Valletta.

A nice hotel with easy walking g distance to the main street in st Paul's Bay, and buses to the rest of the island.
The pool is clean and well appointed and has plenty of loungers and no 6am rush to put towels down!

Was here for a week , location is fine if you do not mind walking to bus station to get anywhere.
Going to bus stop down road to Valletta for 31 u stand for whole way.
Hotel is fine room cleaned daily ,kettle, safe and fridge in room
Did not use pool ,but if into aviation look at room 5526 with view over Mosta aircraft departing from Malta airport only 3000 ft of ground and can be clearly seen.
Food at breakfast good my son went up a few times as buffet style.
You get what you pay for here.

I am very disappointed with my stay from May 29 to June 1.
Before arriving, we called and specifically requested a double bed because we are a couple. Instead, we were given a room with four single beds, which was completely unacceptable and showed that our request had been ignored.
The room was very basic and poorly furnished. It felt almost empty, the mini fridge was extremely small and had no freezer, and the balcony was also bare, with only four plastic chairs.
Another major issue was that there was construction work taking place directly outside our balcony. We were never informed about this before or during check-in. The noise started early in the morning, making it impossible to sleep properly. I believe guests should be informed in advance about such significant disturbances.
The biggest disappointment was the reception staff. On our last evening, I asked if it would be possible to keep the room for a few extra hours after checkout, and the receptionist told me that it should be possible for around €25 and that I should come back at 8:00 a.m. the next morning to arrange it. However, when I did, I was treated in a rude and dismissive manner. No effort was made to check availability, and I felt like I was simply brushed off.
To make matters worse, we were told the day before that checkout was at 12:00 p.m., but the next morning we were told that we had to leave by 11:00 a.m. The conflicting information and lack of professionalism made me feel misled.
Overall, I left feeling disappointed with both the accommodation and the customer service, and I would not stay here again.
