Had a decent stay at this hotel, receptionist are very helpful even if a little busy at times. The rooms are good but the decor and hallways are a little dated and could do with modernising but everything worked as it should. The pool areas are big and plenty of loungers around. The indoor pool area is run down and older so we kept to the main pools. The food was decent at the restaurant and the evening entertainment was great especially the kids loved the activities put on like quizzes and bingo. Has a well stocked shop on site with games room and outdoor kids play area.
It also has an another restaurant across the road with a private beach and water sports activities which was great.
Location is good if you rent a car or fancy the long bus journeys.
I noticed a lot of locals getting off buses and parking at the hotel to use the pool and facilities at the weekends so be aware it gets very busy at times.
Overall a good stay we would happily stay again.

I strongly do not recommend this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff treated us like intruders. After a long flight and exhausting bus transfer, we were not offered any food or drinks. Instead, they told us to go to a terrible and overpriced restaurant across the street and take care of it ourselves completely unacceptable for an all-inclusive stay.
The bar service was just as bad – bar staff was extremely rude, unhelpful, and painfully slow. It honestly felt like the staff were doing everything they could to make guests give up on using the bar. Every time you take even a bottle of water, you’re watched with suspicion and practically treated like a thief.
There’s no air conditioning in the lobby, which makes it uncomfortably stuffy.
At the pool which has salty water and is really deep, people smoke freely, and there is no lifeguard on duty, which is not only unpleasant but also unsafe.
The so-called “private beach” is nothing more than a part of the port, where you're constantly breathing in fumes from the endless stream of arriving ships. There's absolutely nothing relaxing about it.
Avoid this place. It’s not worth the money or even a single star.

What a stunning location! We had an amazing sea view. The rooms were large and the bed was very comfortable. All amenities there like a kettle, safe, fridge etc. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The restaurant staff spoke to the chefs and made me a free from dessert each night which was so thoughtful. There are 4 pools, lovely bars and the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner were always laid out well with lots of choice. We would definitely recommend it and will definitely be going again.

During my trip representing Hong Kong at the FIDE World Amateur Chess Championships, I stayed at Paradise Bay Resort. The location is right by the water, with a beautiful view of the ferry terminal. Great if you plan to take trips out to sea, though it’s quite a distance from the main city center.
The room was very spacious, although the furniture and bedding were basic and a bit dated. That said, it was acceptable, and I especially appreciated being able to sleep with the balcony door open (October), the natural breeze at night made air conditioning unnecessary.
The hotel’s outdoor pool and seaside setting gave it a holiday vibe, and it’s definitely convenient for ferry travellers or those looking for a quiet coastal stay away from the crowds.

Older resort in a great location with family rooms, multiple salt water swimming pools, and beach access. A short walk to the ferry to Gozo and very family friendly. The buffet style food is terrible and would be best avoided and there are very few options for anything else nearby so plan ahead, the breakfast buffet is awful and even lacks decent coffee and dinner is terrible as well, I'd rather eat at a food truck. The whole place feels a bit run down and the lack of potable water in the rooms means you have to purchase bottled water. They're constantly playing loud eurotrash music at the pools and I suppose this and the all inclusive drinks package appeals to a certain crowd. All that said it doesn't feel "too fancy" for a family and the pools are nice. You can take a short walk to paradise beach with a restaurant or to the other resort for a good dinner place.
