Just arrived back to the UK from a week at Paradise Bay Resort. What a lovely hotel. From arrival, the young gentleman and lady at reception to the bar staff, the dining room staff to the brilliant and insistent cleaning lady everyone was wonderful, helpful and friendly. The room was clean, well stocked, anything extra all I did was ask. The sea view was perfect from the first night storm to the last day the brightest blue. The indoor pool (salt water) perfect and mostly peaceful. Food breakfast English to Continental perfect plus fruit, as much as you want, fruit juice awash with it. Dinner every day different choices from duck to steak, chicken, pork chops, various fresh fish all worth two servings, lots of puddings including Pistachio cake, heart attack on a plate, but worth it! Looking to re book. Resort clean every day. Parking loads available. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you.

It was a blast for me. It was a long drive to get to the hotel, but it was worth it since you could see the fascinating views. The rooms were pretty clean and organised. The only thing was that the baths in the bathrooms had drains that were hard to take out since they would be stuck tight at the bottom. Food was amazing especially the all you can eat buffet there. People were very nice and chill. On the whole it was a nice 3 day experience.

It was decent, but not amazing.
In only just reading some more reviews on a more in depth level, I can understand why this hotel hasn't got more 4/5 stars.
Firstly, I would say this hotel is about a 2/3 star, definitely not 4 star. It seems to be false advertising and very inaccurate.
The front of house reception area is the only area that is 'plush' the rooms and corridors are dated and need a good refurb. The smell of the hotel is also a little musty.
As we were there for only a short time, we had a look around the hotel, but didn't get to or want to use the facilities, not just because of the short time we were there, but it wasn't necessarily inviting either. The indoor swimming pool is very old and there is rust everywhere.
Breakfast options are okay, but not the usual spread, pancake options, more fruits etc. I can't report on dinner as we just had a bed and breakfast option.
The reception staff were cool, there was a young man (I can't remember his name) who was very helpful and knowledgeable, something we appreciated.
The room was sizeable, but just old. We were sea facing, so I'm happy about that at least, even though it was stormy at the time. The Porto restaurant is just opposite.
Good transport (which is via bus) to get into town, as well as ferry to Gozo, which is a short walk away.
All in all, decent, but would not be in a rush to get back to this hotel.
I also had a slight pending and potential for an allergic reaction and the two guys we approached about this, were so unhelpful. Not comforting to know that if something medical was happening to you, they wouldn't know what to do or have the onsite staff/first aid to assist.

An excellent place for a winter break. Some food very delicious. Veal, clams, beef, fresh tuna, no reason for complaint. Plentiful cakes and carlsberg on tap at dinner and lunch. Some views are stunning. Take 4 days and relax. You can jump on the ferry and enjoy the sea. The shop in the hotel has plenty to offer and the reception staff are fine and polite.

The staff are not friendly. I stayed two nights. They gave only one bottle water in the room. I asked another bottle, she said even I stay 10 nights, i will get one bottle of water 🤣 There is no source of water in the hotel. You need to buy a 500 ml bottle from kiosk machine and that costs 2 EURO. This is absurd. Restaurant is highly expensive. Room is fine.
