As this is a seaside resort, the location is quite remote from most attractions, but that is expected for a beach getaway.
Upon arrival, we were assigned a room in Block 3, which is a fair distance from the lobby. Unfortunately, the room key did not work initially, leaving us waiting outside. We informed a staff portal when he came to delivered our luggages. He promptly returned to the reception to resolve the issue. His quick and helpful action was much appreciated.
The room itself was very spacious, with a balcony overlooking the pools and gardens. While the view was pleasant, we did not get to enjoy the balcony much due to the winter weather. No tissue boxes provided and no toiletries except hand soap, shower gel and shampoo.
The resort is vast and offers numerous dining options. With the blue wristband provided, we had unlimited access to food and drinks throughout our two-night stay. Most of our meals were taken at the main buffet, which offered an extensive and visually impressive spread. However, while the variety was good, the overall food quality was just average.
We also managed to dine at the Italian restaurant, which required advance reservation at the lobby along with pre-selecting the menu. The food quality here was slightly better than the buffet, but still fell short of expectations. The soup was overly salty, and the beef steak was quite tough, resulting in most of us not finishing the meal. Fortunately, we had already eaten at the buffet before this dinner.
The nightly shows, including singing and dancing performances, were lively and entertaining, creating a pleasant atmosphere and keeping guests engaged.
On our final night, we encountered a major issue when the shower water pump malfunctioned, making it impossible to shower properly as water was gushing out from the tap. This seemed to be a wear-and-tear issue.
Despite these shortcomings, we were overall still happy and relaxing with our stay and appreciated the resort experience.

The hotel is absolutely amazing! It has a beautiful, clean sandy beach, and the rest of the resort is just as stunning — everything is well-maintained and inviting. What impressed me the most were the people who work there; everyone is kind, helpful, and full of positive energy.
The animation team deserves special praise — they bring so much life and fun to every part of the day. There’s never a dull moment! I would especially like to mention Eslam Farid Moos, one of the most positive and enthusiastic people I’ve ever met. His energy and smile make every guest feel welcome and happy.
Thank you once again to the entire team for making my stay unforgettable. I truly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for relaxation, great service, and unforgettable memories. 🌴✨

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything from the service to the atmosphere was excellent. A special thank you to the animation team who made the experience unforgettable – Tasha and Keto were absolutely fantastic! They are full of energy, very professional, and always made sure guests were having a great time. Their shows, activities, and friendly approach really brought the whole holiday to life. I highly recommend this hotel if you want not only comfort and relaxation, but also fun and entertainment. Can’t wait to come back!

Service - 3 star.
We a group x 20 tourist from Singapore - stayed in this resort for 2 nights.
The moment we step into the resort til check out - nothing works.
Service staff - has no knowledge of anything. They only concentrate on their job and other areas are no concern and not interested to help tourists.
The resort has several restaurants - Main restaurant (buffet), Italian, French, International, Arabic - etc.
Nobody I spoke to - able to provide proper informations on the location of the restaurnts, reservations and menu..
1- From the Front Office Manager DR??? to the restaurant reservatiion team, seems eager to get rid of us and try to make it a hellish experience to make reservations..
The reservation team works from 10;00-12:00 and 17:00-18:00 and is NOT helpful and do not provide accurate informations.
Disgusting that the Duty Manager does not have knowledge how to make the necc reservation or menu and location of the restaurants. Absolute hopeless human being.
2- All the Ala-Carte restaurants are almost empty (during my short stay). Yet - its so difficult and confusing to make reservations and select the menu.
3 - The food at the La Palma (French Restaurant) food is lousy and cold. I wonder why they insist that clients select the menu when making reservations.
Restaurant is almost empty except for 4 tables.
Eventually all of us who ate at the La Palma restaurant - returned to the Main restaurant to complete out meal.
Main restaurant serves simple buffet - but has a wider range
Dont bother and waste time to eat at the other Ala Carte restaurants...
4 - I did not encounter any staff who has a ready smile.
5 - Hurghada has many better hotels/resorts with 5star services.

⭐ Review of Sentido Caribbean Soma Bay
A true gem by the Red Sea! From the moment we arrived, Sentido Caribbean Soma Bay impressed us with its elegance, comfort, and warm hospitality. Our spacious, spotless room and the beautifully maintained gardens made every moment relaxing, while the calm beach was perfect for unwinding.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Daily activities and lively evening shows kept both kids and adults entertained.
One note: the hotel removes wristbands at noon and charges for late check-out — it would be great if guests could enjoy the facilities until evening.
A practical tip: the hotel pharmacy is very expensive. Dr. Sara Pharmacy (Facebook) delivers to the hotel at much lower prices — we paid €6 instead of €66!
Overall, an unforgettable stay. Highly recommended for families, couples, and anyone seeking a peaceful and elegant Red Sea escape. 🌴
