What a great hotel, from front to back. Half board food was out of this world, so much to choose from, breakfast had everything and more from fruit, yogurts to cereal, seeds, nuts etc, honey from an comb, cooled breakfast, omelettes made to order, fresh pastry, cold meats, porridge, smoothies, champagne, the only thing for me the coffee and tea was not great for me, I do drinks these a lot. Dinner again was lovely with everything from fish, meat, salad, cold meats, soups, the after section was so much from cakes, jelly, ice cream and more and then sweet section.
Pool area is very nice but again the first couple of days were normal then a man turned up “English” and started to queue at 8:40 every morning. He caused a panic and people followed suite, the hotel policy is no leaving towels for a period time, these was not removed some beds stayed empty for 2hrs on days, but there was no need for this,’plenty of beds every day. Also around the pool no low level music ! Also very strange no outside toilets, need to go inside to use them. Main bar area was lovely comfortable, loads of outside seats, the wellness centre was great I had a massage and great value for money. The staff in every department from our arrival to us leaving were so helpful, and always with a smile. Som nights very slow getting a drink but was advised they were short of staff. Acts in the evening were very good, just sometimes just very short could have went on for a bit more time. Also All Inclusive customer think they have a right to be served first. A great location for the beaches and main high street. We chose a room without a pool view, we had one right at the back but what a view looking over to the mountains. I would be going back for second visit one day.

We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel was really nice and only a short walk to the town. The room was spacious and comfy plenty of pillows and cleaned daily. The food was really impressive we have stayed in many hotels with buffet styles restaurants and would say this is one of the best for food plenty of choice and always hot. The pool area was lovely but people saving beds did get a bit frustrating when they were reserved most of the day without being used even though notes from the hotel state they will be removed if not used. This never happened. Fantastic hotel and we will be back to stay again

My wife and I arrived at Barceló Corralejo Bay Hotel on the 3rd of September 2025 for a seven-day holiday. Upon arrival, we were initially very impressed with the hotel. At reception, we were allocated Room 118. However, upon reaching the room, we discovered it was located on the farthest end of the ground floor, a considerable distance from all amenities. Due to my mobility difficulties, my wife immediately returned to reception to request a room closer to the main facilities. She was informed that no alternative rooms were available.
Later during our stay, we spoke with another couple who, despite arriving after us and also disclosing mobility issues, had been provided with a more suitably located room. This was very disappointing, but we felt we had no option other than to remain in Room 118.
In addition, the room contained only one comfortable chair. My wife again went to reception to request an additional chair of similar comfort. Some time later, Guest Experience Manager Alazne Melian Domínguez arrived at our room accompanied by a member of the maintenance team, carrying a balcony chair. We explained that this was not what we required. Alazne’s response was, “Why don’t you take it in turns with the comfy chair?” We replied that this was unacceptable and that we required another suitable chair. To our shock, Alazne then stated, “I cannot and will not give you another comfy chair,” repeating the remark a second time before leaving our room. We found her manner and comments wholly unprofessional and deeply disappointing.
On the 9th of September, while at reception, I was approached by Guest Experience Manager Leah Babikova, who kindly asked whether everything was satisfactory. I explained our situation, including the inappropriate handling by Alazne. Leah responded with genuine professionalism and immediately offered to relocate us to a room nearer to the amenities. At this point, I was using a mobility scooter, and while we greatly appreciated Leah’s thoughtfulness and care, we declined the offer as we were due to leave the following day, and moving for just one night would have been impractical. Leah is a credit to your hotel and demonstrated exactly what a guest experience manager should be.
In contrast, our experience with Alazne left us feeling undervalued as guests. Her dismissive attitude and refusal to provide reasonable assistance highlighted a lack of empathy and professionalism. We strongly believe further training in guest care and accessibility awareness is necessary.
We hope this complaint is taken seriously and addressed appropriately, as it is our wish that no other guests with mobility issues should have to experience similar treatment in the future.

We would highly recommend the Barcelo Corralejo Bay for your next holiday. We went for H/B which suited us more than AI. Food was delicious at every meal time, our room was spacious and kept immaculately clean, even though there was a few chips in the furniture that didn’t detract from how comfortable the room was.. There was a wide range of ages staying at the hotel but mainly older couples while we were there. We had such a lovely relaxing holiday but you could mix and make friends quite easily if you wanted to. Service in the restaurants, bars and reception was very good. We have had a number of holidays this year but Barcelo Corralejo Bay has been the most enjoyable by far.

I was there for around 6 days and it is a okay hotel but definitely not worth the money. It is a bit outdated and our room: really noisey A/C, dripping toilet (even they want to be water saving). Food is okay but not worth the money at all if you want a decent quality for the price. Staff is friendly, thats a upside.
Towel return policy is outdated and all inclusive package is ridiculous.
overall I wouldnt stay again, but location is nice and if you dont book food package or all-in, you will be fine due to location.
