Hotel staff were lovely, especially the pool bar staff, pool man and spa ladies. Food in the pool bar and breakfast was also very nice. Spa was lovely and would highly recommend using this during your stay. Location is also very good. Lots of good restaurants on door step.
For a luxury a hotel though some things let it down massively. You need to pay for pool towels unless you want to use the same ones for your entire stay. You have to pay for the safe everyday. You only get one complimentary bottle of water (most hotels give you this everyday) food for room service was poor. There is pool tables in the hotel which again you have to pay for. None of this was explained during book in. Entertainment was ok. Not a problem for most but average age of guests was around 70. Air con in room is also not that cold.
All in all it’s a nice hotel but felt they tried to grab every penny they could. For the price I wouldn’t return.

Always a good standard in Barcelo hotels. Food fabulous and wide range of choices.
Spa chemicals gave me skin issues fora few days so my advice to them would be use gentler methods of keeping the facility cleansed
Staff always friendly and helpful. It'd be very difficult to find fault with this hotel

First impressions, the hotel is brilliantly located and is within comfortable walking distance to the beach, a great range of restaurants and shops. The bar and restaurant area of the hotel is modern and well kept. The staff are friendly and attentive. The range and quality of the food in the restaurant is very good, there is plenty on offer but we would recommend venturing out to the town and trying some of the restaurants there as they are very good too! Night time entertainment is very good but they do play the same kind of material. I lost count of how many times I heard "Sweet Caroline".
Unfortunately, there are a few points that let the place down. The rooms are dated, and there is very visible wear and tear on the furniture and the walls. Yes, it was cleaned but it could have been done better. We got a room with a whirlpool, but really, it was just a circular bath tub with some jets. Would have prefered a proper jacuzzi but can't get them all. Two of the pools are very cold, the third is heated and is very pleasant to be in. Really liked that they discouraged guests from reserving sun lodgers.
Another negative is that you have to pay to use the safe, which is €3 per day. If you go half board, any drinks you order at the bar or the restaurant are placed on your room during your stay to pay at the end, so just be wary of this. Also, the hotel seems a popular choice for holidaymakers over the age of 50...
And the free WiFi was very slow and poor as well.
Overall, the location is fantastic 👌🏻 but the hotel needs a bit of work.

Love this hotel my 3rd visit. the staff are amazing and the food is the best I've had in any hotel I've ever been to, I've stopped in many around the world.

The hotel is clean and quiet. Nightly entertainment and also by the pool during the day. Staff was helpful and professional. I took the all inclusive package but in retrospect I would recommend avoiding that and trying the different restaurants in the area which provided a better variety. The drinks at the bar were amazing and I also recommend booking some excursions here. Hubby and I booked a room with a hot tub and it was great.
