I really wanted to give this resort a high rating — the staff were kind, courteous, and clearly hardworking. However, a series of small but significant issues added up to create a disappointing experience.
We rented a 3-bedroom Royal Villa for a family stay, but unfortunately, the first day was marred by loud jackhammering and construction noise. Our villa was located right next to an active construction site. Not only was our private car park unusable, but construction workers frequently passed by, often peering into the villa — which compromised our sense of privacy.
To their credit, the staff quickly relocated us to another villa. Unfortunately, it was a clear downgrade. As compensation, they offered complimentary dinners and drinks for the remainder of our stay. However, we were still charged for the drinks — and the food was not that good which, made the offer feel disingenuous.
On the positive side, the villas are clean and generally well maintained. Be aware, though, that using the outdoor grill incurs an additional £22 charge, which feels excessive given the already premium rates.
In summary: the staff are friendly, the gym is adequate, and the villas are clean — but beyond that, the resort falls short in value and overall experience.

Gorgeous place. Only 2 of us stayed here for 9 nights. Place is so clean and tidy. We stayed B&B and the breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Waiting staff kept everything refilled, clean and tidy. There was an egg station where you can specify how you’d like your eggs cooked, pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit etc etc
We went end of April and during the day could hear a little bit of noise from other villas and we said we would not won’t to go during school holidays as it could be very loud as the pool area echoes quite a bit.
There are 2 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk from the complex. There is also a restaurant called Buddha that is amazing which is about a 10 minute walk.
If you don’t fancy the long walk to the main strip then a taxi costs between 8-10 Euros depending where you’d like to be dropped off. We got dropped at the Rock Cafe which is where one of the taxi ranks is and then wandered down to Music Square.
Would definitely return for another stay here.

Fantastic Villa complex in a great location just outside Corralejo with 2 supermarkets in walking distance for supplies. All Villas have a pool and hot tub and the site has a lovely restaurant and bar with not too expensive drink & cocktail prices. Lovely place to come and relax in the sun for a week.

I’ve never been more disappointed with a hotel before in my life. I am accustomed to places like Soho House or boutique design hotels. This place is ugly, devoid of any style, cheap, and uncomfortable. And to top it off, it’s exorbitantly expensive. Everything is an extra charge (Heated pool is 200/week, using the grill is an extra 20, real orange juice at breakfast is 3.50) although the place is already insanely expensive.
The breakfast buffet is ok, but the drinks make it kinda miserable. The coffee is awful (the milk isn't real milk, it's some kind of watery mix), the juices are all fake and taste sugar sweet and nasty. I also had sour milk one day in my cereal. Glad we didn't pay for the dinner upgrade (30 per person per day).
The view from the roof terrace was sometimes really nice, especially at sunset, but the outdoor areas always feel a bit weird because everyone can look into everyone's "private" space. You can look into the pool of your neighbors (and into their apartment) and you can see across into other people's roof terraces. It just feels a bit uncomfortable.
I’d like to know where they’re putting all the money they receive because they’re definitely not reinvesting it in the property. Everything is run down and looks like it’s from the 80s or if it’s new, the cheapest stuff from IKEA. Pool and hot tub were a bit older, which made them look kind of dirty. The shower and bathroom looked old and could use a good bleaching. The soap dispenser broke during our trip. Honestly I expect nice soaps with such a place, but there was just this ugly soap dispenser like in a public bathroom. The couches were made from this strange fake leather material which just felt like plastic. We had to put blankets over the couches in order to use them. The bed was also so hard that I ended up just sleeping on the couch the whole trip.
I should have paid more attention to the bad reviews.

We enjoyed our stay at a premium villa. And just arrived home from Bahiazul.
Amazing little gem. It's a 4 star resort. Staff made us feel special from day 1. Very nice, attentive and smiling staff. At breakfast the plates we were done with were taken quickly, that's really nice. The guards always geeting you. Generally the staff is 5 star worthy.
Other good things - comfy beds, spacious and clean rooms. Nice size of pool. Breakfast buffet was solid and various. Kitchen well equipped. Even "finish" tabs, soap etc. for washing machine were there.
Things that can be a bit better - jacuzzi was boiling hot, we couldn't choose temperature. Air-condition in our beedroom was mouldy. Yellow line around the pool. Cleaning every 4th day, may be not enough. Rooms and bathrooms generally need a brush up, some painting here and there could make a big difference. Cockroaches outside at nighttime, made it less cousy to be outside.
Overall we enjoyed our stay wery much and would love to come back again. Personally I've been on 5 star resorts that have had more issues then Bahiazul.
On a side note - We (mom, dad and 2 kids of age 10 and 13) walked to Corralejo and it took us about 45 mins to walk for those who want to walk. But I recommend you to rent a car from the airport.
