We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Steigenberger Alcazar Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The service was truly top-notch—friendly, professional, and always one step ahead.
The food was fantastic, with a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. Every meal felt like a new experience, and the restaurant staff were incredible—bringing our drinks before we even finished the last, remembering our preferences, and adding that extra touch of magic to every dinner.
A special shout-out to the entertainment team, led by the amazing Mario, who made our holiday even more magical. One unforgettable night, they invited our daughter on stage to dance in front of all the guests. She was overjoyed, and it's a memory we'll cherish forever.
Our cleaner was also outstanding! After we left him a tip for his great service, we returned to find our beds beautifully decorated each day—such thoughtful touches that truly made us feel special.
If I could rate this hotel 10 stars, I absolutely would. Highly, highly recommended!

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday at Steigenberger Alcazar! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warm hospitality and exceptional service. The staff truly couldn’t do enough for us — always friendly, welcoming, and smiling, even while working incredibly hard in the heat. Their kindness and professionalism made our stay extra special.
The hotel itself is stunning and immaculately maintained. The grounds are beautiful and spotless, and the reception area smells incredible — like stepping into a luxury spa! A special mention to Sabrina at the concierge desk, who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate a late check-out for us due to our evening flight. She also helped arrange the purchase of the beautiful signature fragrance from the reception area on very short notice — such a thoughtful touch!
This was one of the most memorable and relaxing holidays we’ve had. We can’t thank the team enough and would highly recommend Steigenberger Alcazar to anyone looking for a luxury experience with genuine, heartfelt service.

Our stay at Steigenberger Alcazar was simply exceptional. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were captivated by the sheer beauty of the place. The architecture is gorgeous, the decor is elegant yet comfortable, and the grounds are meticulously kept – it truly feels like a luxurious escape. Every corner seems designed for relaxation and enjoyment.
What truly elevated our experience, however, was the staff. Every single team member we interacted with was genuinely warm and friendly. They greeted us with smiles, remembered small preferences, and consistently went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed and pampered. Their hospitality is truly world-class and made our stay feel incredibly special. The cocktails were really good and the food has been on point. La Maison was the highlight.
If I were to pinpoint one area for improvement – and it's a very minor point in an otherwise flawless experience – it would be that the service from ordering a drink to receiving it is slow. It wasn't a significant issue at all and certainly didn't detract from our overall immense enjoyment, but it's the only reason I'm giving a 4.5 instead of a perfect 5.0!
Despite this very small issue, our stay was magnificent. The beauty of the hotel combined with the outstanding warmth of the staff created a truly memorable holiday.

Our experience at this hotel was a mix of highs and lows, with the negatives unfortunately standing out early on. The front desk staff were unprofessional and lacked basic hospitality skills. When I asked if I could exchange a large note for smaller denominations, one associate responded by blowing a raspberry — an inappropriate and childish reaction that left a bad impression. Even more concerning was their lack of empathy when we asked for assistance after our baby had a rough night due to mosquito bites. There was no genuine concern, just a cold and dismissive attitude.
To add to this, we were promised complimentary snacks by the same front desk associate after we mentioned that we had missed our meals due to being out on a full-day trip to the pyramids. Unfortunately, the snacks were never delivered, and no follow-up was made — another example of the lack of professionalism and follow-through at reception.
Thankfully, other parts of the hotel experience helped redeem our stay. The housekeeping staff and restaurant waiters were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Special thanks to Neda, the guest relations manager, who truly stood out for her kindness and effort to ensure we were looked after.
The hotel itself is well-maintained, with excellent facilities, and our room was spacious with a beautiful view — a perfect place to relax after long days of sightseeing. It’s unfortunate that the front desk service doesn’t reflect the high standards found elsewhere in the hotel.

The hotel is lovely with a warm and welcoming team. Rooms are clean, and the pools are well-maintained.
Breakfast offers a good variety, but it tends to be the same each day.
The beach and pool areas are quite calm, which might feel a bit quiet for families with young kids.
There’s limited daytime entertainment, and snack options are quite limited.
Overall, it’s a great spot for those looking to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay.
