Only minus is the food. The buffet is very dull and boring and not what you expect of a 5* hotel. Same with the restaurants at the hotel.
The only reason for giving 4/5 star rating was the food. With all the resources put into this fabulous resort, I feel like they could easily fix this.

Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude to the incredible staff at Steigenberger Alcazar in Sharm El Sheikh for their kindness, professionalism, and care during a very emotional time for us.
First, we want to thank everyone who supported us during and after our daughter Paula’s surgery. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and well taken care of once she returned from the hospital. We were moved to a more suitable room, and THE BEST girls who are always helpful from Guest Relations – Nada, Sabrina, Lidia and Vita – surprised Paula with beautiful flowers and a thoughtful gift. She was so happy and touched by the gesture!
A very special thank you also goes to Mohammed from Alexandria, the kind and attentive waiter in the main restaurant, who made every meal feel like home. His warmth and attention made our meals there truly unforgettable.
And last but not least – we must mention our absolute favorite dining experience: the French restaurant, L’Amison. The food was exceptional, and Magdy Ayman made sure everything was perfect every single time..
Thank you again to everyone at Steigenberger Alcazar – your care and hospitality made all the difference. We will always remember this experience with gratitude. And we will visit you again and again …

We have had very good experience at this resort, everyone happy to helping with beautiful smile on their faces. French restaurant menu’s has wide varieties of vegetarian options. Lamisoon Ayman ibrahim rogina.
In the buffet restaurant, manger Ralf and chef Zakaria were great and made us a custom vegetarian Indian curry dhal and stuffed paratha. He and his team went above and beyond and accommodate us. Great service and outstanding hospitality by all staff.

We’re on our third full day for my 30th birthday and the hotel has been amazing. We looked at reviews heavily before attending and have been more than impressed. All staff are so friendly and attentive, they remember your face and orders. Mostafa at the adult pool was friendly, funny and provided great service and friendly conversation, smiley and helpful! A great bartender.

I would not give 5 stars, as I would compare it to other resorts in the world I have been to. Service is very slow and raw, like they are all beginners. Entertainment lacks the ability to keep audience interested. Unfortunately, if no alcohol, no joy, no entertainment. Related to other resorts, from management perspective , if residents are happy, they would tip more, they would enjoy more the evening. Just a thought, from an European perspective . The grounds are amazing!.
