I don’t know how people are leaving great reviews for this place. From the moment we entered the hotel, it was clear that it does not deserve a four-star rating – in fact, not even a one-star. Maybe in 2017 or 2018, it had good reviews, but that is definitely no longer the case.
The reception service was extremely slow and unprofessional, with staff who were not friendly at all. We had an issue with our reservation through Booking, and upon arrival, we discovered that there was no room reserved for us. To have a place to sleep on our first night, we got a room that was in an indescribably filthy condition.
The room was disgusting. There were hairs from previous guests everywhere, old and dusty furniture, and a bathroom in an appalling state – full of mold, an unclean toilet, and a sticky sink covered in hair. I felt disgusted sleeping in that bed because it was clear that proper hygiene was not maintained. We called the manager, who sent an employee to “clean” the room, but all they did was quickly wipe the floor, which changed nothing. This was not the employee’s fault but rather a reflection of the terrible management of the hotel, which clearly does not provide proper working conditions.
On our second night, our reservation issue still hadn’t been resolved. We don’t know if the mistake was on the hotel’s part or the company we booked our package with, but considering how poorly managed this hotel is, we have serious doubts about who was really at fault. This whole experience was a massive headache and a terrible way to start our family vacation.
In the middle of the night, we decided to switch hotels – and it was the best decision we made. This hotel is completely rundown, with no proper structure or cleanliness, no good food, and no good social areas. The pool area is not clean and lacks the necessary structure for a hotel of this size. The entire hotel is very old and without any maintenance.
If you have another hotel option or if you can afford to pay a little more to stay somewhere else, do it. Sometimes, trying to save money can end up being much more expensive—I learned that the hard way, and I don’t want you to go through the same experience. Honestly, this place was so bad that I believe a camping site would be cleaner than this so-called “resort.”

I had an amazing stay at the Amwaj Oyoun Resort & Casino! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The resort itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained gardens and plenty of space to relax and unwind.
The animation team was the highlight of our trip! They were full of energy and organized fun activities throughout the day, keeping both kids and adults entertained. Special thanks to Amal, who truly stood out with her positive attitude and professionalism. She made every activity so enjoyable and created such a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The evening shows were fantastic, with a great variety of performances that kept us looking forward to every night. The combination of lively entertainment, wonderful staff, and a beautiful setting made our vacation unforgettable. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Our stay at Amwaj Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The hotel staff and animation team went above and beyond to make our vacation unforgettable. Every moment was filled with fun, laughter, and positive energy thanks to their hard work and dedication.

We had no problems at this hotel. We were met with a smile, the staff was helpful. Since we went to rest, we didn't pay attention to the details. We just enjoyed the sun, beautiful surroundings, helpful staff. The rooms were cleaned every day, we regularly received drinking water, shower supplies. We really liked the environment, everything was clean, no trash, although you could see that there was a restauration going on in some parts of the resort. The food was delicious, we always found something to eat. Sometimes there was just a little problem with the lack of dishes. But no matter when we came to eat, there was always food. We were satisfied with the location, although it was far from the city, but it was not expensive to take a taxi. It was windy for a couple of days, but one of the indoor swimming pools in the courtyard was protected from the wind and we had a great time there. I would come back with a pleasure.
