We have been here for 10 days half board. Te rooms are lovely, beds really comfortable with a nice balcony.
The food is superb with so much choice of high quality food with a different country theme each night on a rolling 7 nights. The hot food section has chefs preparing the food in front of you and everything is constantly refreshed.
The service throughout the hotel from reception, in the dining area, room service and bars has been excellent - a big thank you to all the staff.
Outside in the gardens it’s very tastefully laid out, although you have to get out early to get the best spots - more experienced visitors get them first.
There is nice exit out onto the promenade if you fancy some beach bathing and it’s very nice to come back in after a late sea swim and go to the Sauna’s and cold plunge pool before getting ready for dinner. The gym is also very good with plenty of space and machines. I used the rowing machine which was ok.
The Sauna area has 2 sauna choices (60 and 90 degrees) a steam room and plunge pool. Be prepared for some naked bodies though.
All in all we have really enjoyed our stay in Lanzarote and I would highly recommend getting a car for ll or some of your stay as there is lots to do and see on the island.

We recently stayed at Seaside Los Jameos for six nights (last week). Overall, our experience was mixed. There are definitely strong positives, but also some areas that would make us hesitate to return.
First, the positives. The location is excellent, very central for exploring the island and doors open directly onto the beach promenade, which made morning walks and quick outings really easy - thought the beach town is sooo touristy, not local at all.
Our room was nicely renovated and comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety of options and worked well for families.
Where this hotel truly shines is for younger children. The kids club was fantastic. Our 8 year old went every single day and absolutely loved it - the animation team is amazing! The kids’ pool is also great, very warm with fun slides. I would def recommend this hotel to friends with children 8 and under or to my parents in their 60s who would appreciate the relaxed, contained resort atmosphere.
However, there were several disappointments. The biggest issue was the lack of service. During six nights, I was not once asked if I needed anything, polite convo, no “how is your stay?” Staff seemed on edge so not sure how happy they are here.
There is no pool service, and small touches that elevate a stay were missing. The arcade token machine never worked, which was frustrating during a few bad weather days, and one staff member at the pool towel station was noticeably rude. You also have to collect your own pool chair cushions - I have never had to do this at a 4 star hotel. Oh and the ground is paved rocks so walking anywhere without sandals is awful! Who would do this by the pool areas?!
Operationally, the hotel seemed understaffed. At breakfast, coffee machines were not operating, causing long lines. In the restaurant and by the pool, dirty plates and cups often sat uncleared. It made me wonder what this would look like in high season. Some parts of the resort feel quite outdated.
The evening entertainment was for the older crowd - felt very cruise ship style, which may appeal to some guests but did not suit us. As an active family in our 30s who enjoys going out for meals and exploring, the resort felt very self contained and geared toward a different audience. Fine for some, I’m sure!
One major disappointment was the dinner buffet. The only reason we booked it was because it was storming one night and we did not want to go out in the rain. It was expensive, around 150 euros for two adults and one child, and unfortunately the food quality did not justify the price at all. So bad.
Another small but noticeable gap was lunch options. There is not really a casual snack style lunch setup with things like fries or quick poolside bites. They do serve small sandwiches, which are actually good, but it would be nice if there were a simple snack cart or counter open during lunch or happy hour for more relaxed, grab and go options by the pool.
For context, we are a New York family currently living in Amsterdam, so our tastes and expectations around food and hospitality are elevated. We also expect a certain level of attentiveness and service from a 4 star hotel that appears to be positioning itself towards 5 stars. In that regard, the service and dining fell short.
We have stayed at more than 10 hotels across Spain, and this would definitely rank lower on the list of places we would recommend.
In summary, this hotel worked for us because our child loved the pool and kids club. But as adults, we found very little here for us. For families with younger kids or older couples looking for a relaxed, all in resort atmosphere, it could be a great fit. For active 30 somethings looking for better service, atmosphere, and quality dining, we would not book again. Not worth the 300e+ / night price tag

We had a wonderful vacation at Seaside Los Jameos: The entire complex is beautifully designed, everything is very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The food is above average in both selection and quality. A new area for children has been integrated, which includes a pool, slides, a playground, a water playground/baby pool, as well as a kids' club. Our daughter loved everything about it. The staff, no matter the area, are extremely friendly, helpful, and warm-hearted. You can tell that everyone there truly enjoys their job. We would especially like to highlight Noemi, Marcel, Alan, but MOST ESPECIALLY SILVIA AND ALEXANDRA. The animation team and the miniclub team do an outstanding job. Our daughter was always well taken care of in the kids' club, and the evenings at the mini-disco were a fantastic end to every day for both her and us. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING, we will miss you a lot

They went above and beyond by beautifully decorating the breakfast table on my son’s birthday, and there was a surprise cake waiting in the room when we returned in the evening. My husband had planned this, but the staff executed it wonderfully, even adding special cards for both of my kids and local pineapple juice bottles. It truly made the day feel extra special. The hotel is nice and conveniently located near the beach. The only downside is the lack of room service for food—on days when you’re feeling lazy and want to eat in your room while watching a movie, that option isn’t available. Additionally, there aren’t many vegetarian options for breakfast if you don't even eat eggs.

Staying here now. Our first time at this hotel and it definitely won't be our last. Can't fault anything. Great facilities and grounds with plenty of local restaurants and bars close by. We upgraded from a standard room to a superior room direct with the hotel prior to arrival which was definitely worth it.
