Stayed at hotel Costa Calero with my husband and our 8 month old baby on an all inclusive basis . The hotel is absolutely spotless throughout and the food was fabulous with great hygiene and huge selection every day. Our son was made to feel very welcome by all staff who were polite and warm, especially Belcy who we looked forward to seeing every morning at breakfast. Marina is a short walk away which was lovely and very convenient supermarket 2 min from the hotel. Staff were very accommodating to our needs. Would highly recommend

Fantastic holiday. Only 1 issue was my grandson aged 13 was too old for the kids club and too young for the adult programme of events which left him with no activities to partake in and reduce his opportuniyy of meeting people of his age. Maybe being allowed to do the adult activities with a parent or guardian would be an acceptable choice. For example he is a good darts player , better than me but he couldn't play and I could.

This was our first visit to the Hotel Costa Colero on a Jet2 holiday. The hotel is a very relaxed and chilled place to stay and is well maintained and has some lovely rooms. It is quite spread out which is a positive as even when busy it doesn’t feel busy.
The staff worked hard whether to keep the place clean and tidy, cooking the food, providing the entertainment or serving in the bar and restaurant. Our favourite spot was the Piano bar for the post dinner drinks with lovely views, and some light entertainment. The food was nicely cooked and tasted good. Also we really enjoyed our complimentary visit to the Spa.
The hotel is situated just a short walk from the Puerto Calero marina (the hill isn’t that bad) where you will find some lovely restaurants like Mumbai Masala if you fancy a change. Also on Tuesday and Friday there is a small market. Across the road from the hotel is a new Super Dino supermarket which is well stocked for any extras you need.
If I had to be picky (and it is picky) the only improvements I would like to see (and have fed back on) include making proper tea and coffee available to AI customers in the Spa (the paid for machine was awful), WiFi was patchy around some of the pool areas, no printed bar menus (not everyone has their phone to hand), a lack of hash browns at breakfast (my favourite part of a fry up), and it would have been nice to have a TV/Bar lounge to watch some of the sporting events on.
All in all, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be back again in the future.

Fantastic hotel, the rooms and customer service was outstanding! The free shuttle bus to town made the holiday even better. The food was fantastic. The people doing activities were great. I only have 4 stars, as was a bad umbrella shortage around the pools to go with the beds. Not enough umbrellas or just broken ones. There were not any pool staff to ask for an umbrella and when we did find someone, they said there were no more. It's not great especially when on holiday with a baby to have no shade. Despite this the holiday was great and have booked to come again this year. Hopefully you'll of fixed the umbrella shortage by the next season 🤞🏽.

Good hotel staff are great and layout from where I stayed was good, spa was decent, gym was good some equipment is in need of upgrade but still working great. Piano bar had something on most nights and was a decent standard.
