Absolutely amazing stay at Ona Alanda, we stayed as a couple over the New Year’s Eve period. The staff are brilliant and couldn’t do enough for you - so friendly, helpful and attentive. Apartment was incredibly spacious and clean (1 bed apt) and had everything we needed. We didn’t stay at the hotel on New Year’s Eve but the decorations that were put up and the effort that was made & entertainment that was on when we came back was fab. Free drinks voucher on arrival also. Great gym and indoor pool facilities with sauna. Walking distance to a stunning square of shops and restaurants took us about 5 minutes to get to. Puerto Banús only 15/20 minutes in a car as well so perfect location to not stay in the busy centre but to get to if needed. Highly recommend ❤️

We stayed here as a family with a stroller and unfortunately the hotel is not very practical for families with small children, despite advertising that all ages are welcome.
The internal paths are narrow and bumpy, making it difficult to push a stroller around the property. The elevator does not fit a regular-sized stroller, so we constantly had to fold it. Although we were accommodated on the ground floor (which we appreciated), there were still about 8 stairs to manage, and the staircase is very narrow.
The location looks close to the sea on the map, but the walk is quite steep downhill — and returning uphill with a stroller is challenging.
We stayed in winter and the tiled floors in the room were very cold. The air conditioning has a heating option, but it did not work effectively and mostly generated fan noise without properly warming the room.
On a positive note, the staff were very understanding and flexible. They kindly agreed to shorten our stay, and we were able to check out after the first night without any issues, which we truly appreciated.
Overall, it may suit couples or families with older children, but I would not recommend it for families traveling with babies or strollers, especially in colder months.

We stayed here over Christmas to visit family who live in the area. I usually book an AirBnb but got tempted to try the Alanda for a prepared breakfast, indoor pool and that it looks inviting from the outside.
However, the hotel is really shabby once inside and needs serious refurbishment. Towels paper thin, and kitchen appliances really old. The fridge door was rusting!
Breakfast was too crowded with not enough tables for the number of rooms.
Upon checking in, our room stunk of bleach and I requested to change but was told there were no alternatives available.
Terrible value even having booked direct in November under a Black Friday offer. Far too expensive for what it is. Don't be deceived by the imagery on their website, this place is no 4 star establishment. Won't be returning.
On the upside, the staff were all lovely, especially the waitresses in the restaurant.

A few blocks from the beach. Rooms are slightly dated but very clean with super comfortable beds. Friendly reception and restaurant staff. Good breakfast selection at buffet, lunch/dinner menu in restaurant was great. Indoor warmed pool, nice gym but sauna needs to be updated. Loose bottom bench in male sauna, missing board with nails sticking up in the women's.

Although the appartments and rooms are quite big, they are inadequetly insulated for noise. If you are a big noisy family or dont mind noise you'll be fine. Do not expect to relax here or sleep peacefully. It is really a shame, but for families I suppose its great. The beds are great, kitchen ok, very old bathrooms and kitchens. Poor lighting for relaxing and reading. Again, just not what I needed as I was looking to relax with other adults off season. Personally I think it is over priced for what it offers, but the staff were great. I would only recommend during high season and for families with young kids.
