Had overally a good stay. The room looked a bit outdated, like it was arranged 20 years ago, but it was well preserved, so not a big issue... I was worried that it would be cold in January, but the heating was working well, and I could sleep naked. The pillows were so comfortable!
Every time I entered the room, I put the card in the thingy, the TV was set up to automatically turn on, which was really annoying, and I ended up unplugging it from the socket. I loved that the cleaner wasn't knocking on the door at 9am, but if I had the "do not disturb" tag on, they came even late in the afternoon. I stayed there during my birthday week, I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get at least a happy birthday card, last year I got a bottle of wine in another hotel...
This hotel had probably the best food in the restaurant of all the hotels that I've been to so far. There was always a wide selection and everything was delicious. The pancakes were my favourite.
Lastly, the hotel has a great location, 3 minutes' walk from the train station.

1 Star goes to the location and the view.
It is far from being a 4 star hotel.
It begins the moment you arrive when the glass sliding door opens and makes a lot of noise, thank god it works.
Then you reach the elevators, each and every one of them should be dumped, very slow, make a lot of noise, the doors don't even close properly and they frequently break down.
The rooms are okay, old though but well taken care of, but definitely need an update.
Around midnight, it starts to smell in the room like a public toilet and the only way to get rid of it is by opening the balcony door. It probably comes from the ventilation.
Heated pool and sauna:
Both are on the 9th floor and reachable with the elevator.
The pool room is rusty, mouldy and kind of neglected. The water isn't so warm and the pool isn't filled up completely. The water would cover your knees or so.
The sauna is only 3 hours from 5 pm. It is very small for such a big hotel, very very old and if you throw a little bit of water on the stove the electricity might go down.
The water bucket is an old metal bucket with holes on the side and inside there is a cut off Bier can to be used to throw water.
I have never seen anything like this, not even in a public sauna.
The breakfast we regret every Cent we paid for, a huge waste of money.
100% English oriented and not of a good quality, only one kind of sliced cheese and the coffee is disgusting. They don't garnish the buffets, everything are just put there and here you go, just eat and leave. Nit to mention some very unfriendly staff, they wouldn't greet you at all and if you went to pick up something else you might come back to an empty table, because they have removed everything.
This is a no 4 star hotel, not in this condition. It might have been 10 or 15 years ago but they clearly don't care about doing anything, it is running and bringing money.
Not worth the money.
Bluesea Gran Cervantes, never ever again.

We stayed here in July 2025 and had a fantastic experience overall. The hotel is modern, clean, and spacious with plenty of facilities to enjoy. One of the highlights is the rooftop area with a bar and pool, which is usually peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The only small downside is that the rooftop bar isn’t included in the all-inclusive package, but this didn’t bother us as the lower-level pool bar and indoor bar are both all-inclusive and easy to access.
The food exceeded our expectations, with a great variety of fresh dishes every day – even as a vegetarian, I always had plenty of delicious options to choose from. There was also a daily entertainment programme with themed food and activities in the evenings, which added a fun and lively atmosphere. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay.
The hotel is about a 20–30 minute walk to the beach if you take the steps, or around 10 minutes using the lift. The nearby beach is spacious, clean, and a lovely place to spend the day.
Overall, highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Based on my stay, the hotel did not meet my expectations for a 4-star property. The room was quite basic and did not include amenities such as a minibar, complimentary water, kettle, or coffee/tea facilities, which I usually find even in lower-rated hotels. The bathroom provided towels and soap, but no additional toiletries like shampoo or body wash.
On the positive side, the sea view from the room was very nice, as requested. However, the room had a connecting door to the neighboring room, which made the space feel less private. Sound insulation was limited, and noise from nearby rooms was clearly audible. Late at night, a neighbor knocked and shouted at our door, telling us to shut up and asking us to open the door, which felt uncomfortable and affected our sense of security.
The furniture and overall condition of the hotel appeared dated. The swimming pool was also quite small.

Ideal base for first time in Torremolinos. Only 15 mins from Malaga airport by taxi.
Spacious reception with all staff fluent in English. Our booking was all in order and able to leave our luggage securely until rooms ready at 15.00.
Bedroom, bathroom very clean and presentable. Facilities, furniture bit dated, but lovely Spanish woodwork and very much our taste. Plenty of hot water all day, good pressure in shower even first thing, bidet present and working.
TV good quality sound/picture and most UK channels available.
Balcony Clean, table and chairs, fridge in room, ensure you book sea view + balcony!
One small point, no tea/coffee in room. But plenty downstairs in two bars and restaurant.
Bar staff friendly, but can be very busy with bus tours and evening entertainment, choice beers, wines ok but nothing startling.
Plenty, plenty shops, bars, restaurants nearby, old town and main shopping within 10mins of hotel. Easy walk, 3 routes down to beach level and again plenty bars restaurants for all tastes and pockets. Individual highlights separately reviewed.
Strongly recommend lift back up to near hotel (50 cents) or taxi approx 6-8 euros.
