The location is excellent, and the cleanliness of the space is outstanding — everything is well cared for and detailed with great attention. Ester from the animation team deserves special mention: she is very popular, friendly, and truly passionate about her work and the guests. A wonderful person who adds a lot to the experience.
If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to have a wider selection of dishes at the buffet restaurants.

So this is my honest review and in no way intended to make the hotel seem bad but I’m going to be as real as I can be. The start did not start well we got shown to a garden room that was so damp and mouldy u could smell it in the air a soon as you walked in the bed was even damp the walls was wet poor start we refused that room and go took to a different one it was ok very outdated an I will say this hotel is not 5 star:( no robes slippers or even a bit of fruit to welcome u as I’ve experienced in other 5stars water was complimentary but all other options had to pay also DO NOT USE ON SITE shop! It should be illegal what they charge! Maltesers an orange juice 8pound! There a supermarket a little walk down and it’s reasonable and came back with a bag full for 8pound! Ok the food…. Let me just say I’m not a fussy eater but the food there was cold and not much choice I honestly felt hungry everyday as food was so inedible and the puddings were same everyday dry and lacked taste everyday I mean this was a bad food day! Breakfast was shocking I don’t understand all these good reviews because it wasn’t what we experienced cocktails like water not allowed a fizzy drink untill 10😳alcohol very watered down entertainment…well let’s just say we were in room watching movies most nights absolute dire!😩I wouldn’t return to that hotel honestly we went hurgadah last year and it was amazing! Pools lovely beach lovely! Staff lovely! Reception staff a bit rude! We left the hotel very disappointed ☹️ I need a holiday to recover from this holiday! Cleaning staff amazing! The ones behind the scenes make the hotel we tipped our room cleaner 40 pound he worked so hard we gave gardeners drinks as they sweated al day in sun why management micro manage it’s quite sad really how hard they work for pittance I wouldn’t recommend this hotel either and it’s not a 5star it’s. 2 and half at a push! Dissatisfied to the max
Food Tradition
We stayed for one week on an all-inclusive basis. While the hotel has beautiful rooms and fantastic entertainment staff who made our trip enjoyable, there are some serious issues that need improvement for a true 5-star experience.
Food & Safety:
The food was highly repetitive, with roughly half of it seemingly reused from the previous day. In Egypt’s extreme heat, this raises food safety concerns. My sister and I both experienced food poisoning twice during our stay. On several occasions, vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers) were visibly off, coconut milk was sour, and dairy products were expired. Food labeling was often inaccurate or incomplete – a serious risk for guests with allergies. We witnessed one guest with a peanut allergy being served peanuts without any warning on the label. All dishes should be labeled clearly and accurately.
Reception & Service:
The reception staff need significant training in professionalism and communication. On our departure day, luggage collection took over 30 minutes despite advance notice, and staff gave conflicting instructions about where to leave the bags. Rather than being helpful, they displayed visible frustration and spoke to each other in a way that appeared to mock guests. Additionally, despite having rooms closer to the beach, we were assigned ones far from reception, which was challenging for my diabetic mother.
Positives:
The entertainment team was outstanding, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the setting is beautiful.
Summary:
This hotel has great potential, but serious improvements in food safety, allergy labeling, and staff professionalism are essential. With these addressed, it could truly deliver on its 5-star promise.

We had a great stay at JAZ Belvedere .The staff are very friendly, especially the receptionists who were welcoming and helpful. The place is very clean, and the food and snacks were good with a nice variety. The sandy beach was beautiful and made the whole experience relaxing. Definitely recommend for a comfortable holiday
