We've just returned and had a lovely time. We were quite concerned given the mixed reviews but pleasantly surprised. The hotel is huge with incredible views across the landscape and sea. The pool is great and there was lots to do for our son (aside from arcade where getting change for the 1E slot machines was an issue). The rooms were clean and spacious. The service was generally good - particularly given how much the staff have to do. Reception staff always helpful and problems sorted out. I really enjoyed the food as I loved all the salads and veggie stuff. There was always food available. The drinks were ok and you generally find something that works for you. My only main issue was the time of the bus to the beach; they are only in the morning and after 5.30 coming back - a 2 or 3pm bus would have been better. Its not a 'shiny' hotel, but I felt it was very relaxed - particularly if you are coming in from the pool or letting children join in at night. Some hotels would have issue with this. It all depends what you want from a holiday.......

Myself and my partner spent a fabulous week at this Hotel. 06-13/11/24. Well what can I say? DO NOT listen to the bad reviews, yes the Hotel is a little dated in decor but it is kept very clean. The food is varied and plentiful. I have Crohns disease and ai even found plenty to eat. Every single member of staff was cheerful hardworking and friendly. ( perhaps you get back what you give?) Our room was cleaned with fresh linen daily and the maid worked her socks off but still had a " Good morning" and a smile. Reception staff were beyond friendly as were the bar and animation staff. Myself and my partner are already planning to return in June. Btw, not a single bug or nasty of any kind was spotted anywhere. Go, enjoy, and don't let Mr and Mrs misery put you off. Thank you to all Beatriz staff, see you soon.

VIsited this hotel a year before. Wasn't super great, but this year was very unpleasant. Cockcroaches, bugs and dirty hallways. It's very outdated hotel, need desperate renovation especially for the money they ask. We were on half board. To get drinks on dinner was impossible. Waiters was ignoring us or rude when we finally get to order our drinks. Food wasn't tasty at all. Maybe for all Inc that's somehow worth it. Drinks was very sweet and nothing taste like it supposed to.
Rooms very outdated. Who needs carpets that's hold all dirt? Housekeeping very friendly and rooms stays always clean. Bathrooms could use some deep cleaning/ renovation (mold in silicon) , toilet sit yellow...
Overall very unpleasant stay.
Not planning to come back.

Looking at the size of the hotel and the pool, you might expect a decent experience. Don’t be fooled! This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had, and it all boils down to how poorly the staff manages the place.
We stayed for three nights and booked two rooms. While our first impression of the hotel and the rooms was positive, things quickly went downhill from there.
1. Non-functional Air Conditioning
The air conditioning in our room wasn’t working. After complaining, we discovered it wasn’t functional in any room. The hotel’s response? “The fan is working, but the cold air system is broken. We ordered the part four weeks ago, but it hasn’t arrived yet.” For three nights, we had to sleep with the balcony door open for ventilation.
2. Bed Bugs and Dirty Beds
On the second night, I woke up covered in itchy bites and found bed bugs crawling on the mattress. It was absolutely disgusting. The bedding was filthy. I reported the issue to the staff, but as expected, nothing was done to address it.
3. Lack of Housekeeping
Our room wasn’t properly cleaned for two of the three days we stayed. We initially requested housekeeping via phone(also to report bed bugs), and were told someone was on their way. After waiting for an hour, we called again, only to be told, “We have 350 rooms, and the cleaning staff is busy.” It seems this hotel cannot afford to hire more than 1 housekeeping staff, and somehow its our fault.
4. Rude Restaurant Staff and Ridiculous Policies
The waitstaff in the restaurant were some of the rudest I’ve ever encountered. The hotel’s drink policy is absurd: for half-board guests, drinks (like fizzy beverages) are only included with breakfast, not dinner—only all-inclusive guests have that privilege. To make matters worse, if you ask for water during dinner, they charge you without informing you beforehand. Guests are expected to fetch their own water. The lack of hospitality is shocking.
5. Wi-Fi Issues
On our last day, the Wi-Fi stopped working entirely. It wouldn’t connect in our rooms as it had apparently reached the maximum number of connected devices. When we complained, the staff shrugged it off, saying it worked near the reception area. As a result, we had to sit in the reception just to access Wi-Fi, with no solution offered.
Final Thoughts:
This hotel is a complete disaster and should be avoided at all costs. It is poorly managed, understaffed, and riddled with issues that make staying here an absolute nightmare. From broken air conditioning and filthy rooms to rude staff and nonsensical policies, this place fails on every level. The blatant lack of care for guests and refusal to address problems shows how little this hotel values its customers. If you’re considering staying here, don’t. Save your money, your sanity, and your vacation—choose anywhere else. This is by far the worst hotel experience I have ever endured, and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

Very disappointed with our recent stay at this hotel (November 2024). Our time at the hotel was OK. You get what you pay for so basic was what I expected. I did not expect to bring bed bugs back to my home in the UK and spend an entire week fumigating my house and belongings. Having gone online since returning to the UK, it is apparent that the hotel were fully aware of a bed bug infestation during our stay and failed to notify us. Had we been informed we could have taken the necessary precautions not to contaminate our own homes. Not to mention the extreme discomfort I am experiencing from hundreds of bites. I have contacted the hotel and easyjet holidays but have so far received no response. Very poor conduct from hotel management.
