Went to charmillion gardens aqua park for a family holiday. The resort was amazing with everything you need! The slides, the main pool and the wave pool were all amazing! And the snorkelling at the beach was so much fun! Variety of food and entertainment every day, and clean specious rooms. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We booked full body massage and we will definitely do that again when we visit, the spa in the resort was definitely worth it. Will be booking again 😆 we didn’t want to leave!

It was an excellent choice. Staff and facilities 10/10. Excellent and delicious food. Kids friendly and the lifeguards are very polite and always smiling.
Clean and neat.
The aqua park is huge and there is also a smaller aqua park for kids under 10.

We stayed 6 nights at Charmillion Gardens Aqua Park. Overall, I would recommend the hotel — but it’s important to know that you get what you pay for. It’s definitely not a 5-star resort; think of it as a mid 3-star experience — cheap and cheerful in the best sense.
It’s a very family-oriented hotel: all-inclusive, with kids’ songs playing in the evenings at the main restaurant and sometimes around the pools during the day. Perfect for families with young children, but it can get repetitive (and slightly annoying) for anyone else.
Check-In:
The process was quick and easy. Staff were friendly and explained most of what we needed to know, though clearer information about the sister properties and à-la-carte restaurants would have been helpful.
Room:
Rooms were clean, comfortable, and the air-conditioning was excellent — strong and cold. The Wi-Fi, however, was practically unusable inside the rooms. Housekeeping staff were great — friendly and efficient, with fresh towels and tidy rooms daily.
Food & Drink:
As with many all-inclusives, the food was hit or miss. It was fine overall — a little repetitive, but with a few standout options. The à-la-carte restaurants were a welcome change, offering better food and a quieter atmosphere. For stays over 7 nights, two visits are included for free.
Drinks were decent — the local beer was surprisingly good and the bartenders generous, though the spirits were mystery brands with a harsh taste.
Facilities:
The resort offers multiple pools spread across the three Charmillion properties, all within a 10-minute walk. Everything was clean and well maintained, though the water was very cold — a small temperature increase would make a big difference.
The water park was fun for all ages, and the beach area was pleasant. The gardens and walkways were well kept. Entertainment ran throughout the day and evening but was mostly kid-focused. We often spent evenings by the pool tables and bar at the Sea Life hotel next door — much nicer atmosphere overall.
Staff & Service:
Service was hit and miss. Some staff were excellent — polite & friendly (special mention to Salah on reception and Kareem at the stage bar) — but others seemed disengaged, with little sense of urgency. At times, several staff would be standing around while only one was actually serving, even with a line of guests waiting. It sometimes felt like a struggle to get basic service, which was disappointing given how good some team members were. Overall, inconsistent service that could easily improve with better management and attention to guest flow.
Issues with the Hotel:
– Towel card system: outdated and unnecessary. Losing a towel could mean a €15 charge, which feels excessive. After two days of arguing, I finally got a replacement.
– Pushy sales staff: start off polite but become too persistent over time — it gets tiring.
– Food hygiene: about half of our group had persistent stomach issues. Hard to pinpoint the cause, but unfortunately quite common.
– Dinner experience: buffet layout makes dinner hectic. Guests crowd around the counters and few people queue properly. The hotel should consider better organisation or signage to improve flow.
Tips:
Book excursions through GetYourGuide — far cheaper than booking through the hotel. Skip the quad-bike safari; the quads are old, slow, and you’re forced to ride in a single line.
The boat and Ras Mohammed tours were excellent and worth the money, especially with the scuba-diving option — instructors were great even for first-timers.
If you’re tempted by the Dolce Vita Club event that hotel staff promote, it’s a fun night in a unique desert-style setting, but it’s pricey: £35 entry with one drink included, and drinks inside are around £12 each.
Final Verdict:
Charmillion Gardens Aqua Park is a cheap and cheerful choice for families — plenty of pools, activities, and mostly friendly staff. Singles or young adults might prefer somewhere livelier or more upscale, but for around £600 for 6 nights all-inclusive for two people, it’s still good value for money overall.

We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 children), and our stay at Charmillion Hotel was truly enjoyable. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everyone was kind and friendly. We had a wonderful time.
Reception:
Mr. Salah at the reception is a star! He solved every problem with a smile and was always welcoming and helpful. Out of all the reception staff, he supported us the most and was always cheerful and polite.
Food:
The food was very diverse and tasty — I would rate it 8.5/10.
There were different meal options every day, the salads were very fresh and flavorful, and both the oriental and western desserts were delicious. Everything was always clean, well-organized, and full of flavor.
Special thanks to the chefs:
• Pastry chefs: Kamal, Ramadan, Ashraf, and Mohamed
• Food chefs: Emara, Hassanain, and Emad
And a very special thank you to the amazing restaurant team:
Mohamed Ashraf, Youssef (pizza chef), Ayman, Ahmed El Sayed, Hassan, Ahmed Aluxur, and Mohamed Khalaf.
Aqua Park:
The water was clean, and the Aqua Park was so much fun — our kids enjoyed it a lot.
Special thanks to Mikhail, Hassan (“بتحبها”), and Ali Mohamed.
Animation Team:
The animation team organized different activities every day for both kids and adults. They were very kind and engaging.
Special thanks to Camilo, Magid, and Ahmed.
Spa:
We had a massage session with Jamila and Morjan, and they were excellent! Highly recommend booking with them.
Gym:
The gym is well-equipped and clean, and the staff there are very friendly and professional.
Special thanks to Mr. Raymon and Khalid for their support and kindness.
Housekeeping:
Towels and bed sheets were changed daily. The housekeeping team was very cooperative and polite.
Special thanks to Mahrous, who took great care of our room.
One of the best features of the hotel is that you can also visit the nearby Club Resort and Sea Life hotels and enjoy their pools and restaurants.
