Very affordable! Food is repetitive, customer service is poor. Animation team are always late and repeat the same thing over and over again. Kids club opened 1/7 days with no notice. Aqua park is lovely and rooms are great.
Considering the price I would consider going again. A lot of tourists from Israel at this hotel.

I don’t understand why this hotel has such a high rating. I’ve been staying here for four days now, and my impressions are very mixed.
I came here with my children. The trip was arranged by a travel agent — a girl from Egypt. She suggested this hotel as one of the best in Sharm. I looked at the photos and reviews and agreed. Unfortunately!
She booked a Superior Room Garden View at Charmillion Gardens Aqua Park for us. However, they said it was upgraded, so we were placed in a room overlooking the aqua park. I honestly don’t see what kind of upgrade that is — during the day there’s constant noise from children screaming outside the window. When we entered the room, it turned out to be just a standard room with an extra bed — basically an extremely uncomfortable folding cot. As a result, the three of us are sleeping in one bed.
When I went to the reception to ask whether this was really a superior room, they said yes. I contacted the manager who organized the trip to clarify the situation, and she told me there were no other options because of Trump’s recent visit. I wanted to move to another hotel, but this one said they wouldn’t refund the money. After long back-and-forth messages, I decided to stay here.
The food in the restaurant is about a 7/10. It takes around 10 minutes to walk to the beach, which isn’t very pleasant in the heat. The beach itself isn’t suitable for swimming — you can only dip your feet in the water. If you want access to the coral reef, you need to walk another five minutes, and even there the pontoon isn’t finished. You have to walk through shallow water to reach the pontoon and then climb into the sea from there.
The territory is large and beautiful — that’s a plus. The aqua park is great too. But the situation with the beach was a big disappointment.
Also, the bed linen and towels probably used to be white about two years ago — now they’re grayish, and the duvet cover is torn. The overall cleanliness and maintenance are far from what you expect from a five-star hotel.
At this point, this has been our worst experience in Egypt, and we definitely won’t be coming back to this hotel. It’s nowhere near a 5-star standard.

Spent a week at Charmillion and had the best week ever. The staff are very polite and always willing to give you a hand. Cleaners are very hardworking and you can see them working from early hours till late (I don’t know how in this heat) especially Mohammed, could always tell he made special effort.
The food was nice. I did get sick but really I don’t know why people complain. It’s a hot country so in a way I was expecting an upset stomach. You can tell their food is freshly made.
The only thing I didn’t like was the “upgrade” on our arrival. The man at the reception told us “you have a standard room but I can give you an upgrade for a little tip” I didn’t want to argue so I just gave it to him.
The entertainment is spot on. There is always something going on for the kids and adults from the animation team. Naser- especially with his dancing skills🕺
Overall, great experience and will be coming back.

Shockingly Bad Experience at Charmillion Club Aqua Park
My stay at Charmillion Club Aqua Park in Egypt was nothing short of horrendous, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for even a basic standard of service or comfort.
1. Reception & Customer Service – Absolutely Appalling
The daytime reception staff member — who claims to be one of the managers — was by far the worst part of the entire trip. His attitude was shocking: dismissive, unhelpful, and constantly providing incorrect information.
A perfect example of his incompetence was when I simply asked how to access the games room. Instead of giving a clear answer, he sent me to the bar and told me to stay there for 10 minutes. I was sent in circles, completely confused, only to end up being taken back to him, where he finally processed the payment he could have handled in the first place. It was absolutely ridiculous and showed how unwilling he was to help from the start.
Any time we phoned reception for assistance, we were lucky if someone showed up within an hour — and on some occasions, no one came at all. For staff who are supposed to be the face of the hotel, the service was shocking.
2. Room Problems – Unsafe, Poorly Maintained, and Inconvenient
The rooms themselves were far below any acceptable standard.
One mattress was so uneven it felt like a health and safety hazard.
Our rooms were separated into different buildings, causing constant inconvenience. Something as simple as ironing clothes meant going back and forth, wasting time every day.
We had booked this holiday roughly six months in advance and specifically requested rooms together. We were completely ignored. Instead, we were given false reassurance that something would be done, but it was obvious the receptionist had no intention of helping.
To make matters worse, one of the rooms had a toilet lock that didn’t even work. We reported it immediately and were told someone would fix it. No one ever came — not once during the entire stay.
3. Food – Genuinely Horrific
The food was another huge disappointment. The quality was poor, the variety was awful, and most meals were simply not enjoyable. For a resort that advertises so much, the dining experience was shockingly bad.
4. Small Positives
To be fair, some members of staff were genuinely nice, especially housekeeping.
The pools and slides were not too bad, and they were one of the few things we could actually enjoy.
Overall: A deeply disappointing stay that felt stressful, uncomfortable, and neglected. I would never return.

I had very bad experience with them in my last visit, the reception staff was really racist. The day i arrived with my family shows the my passport visa and booking, they asked me to give them a proof how I entered Egypt and asking me to show them boarding passes. I replied this is not ur Job to ask for this. But he started behaving rude. After arguing he asked me to show him my Saudi iqamas. Finally to settle I show him my Saudi ids, as I already paid the booking and don’t want any unpleasant things. Than he gave me worse rooms dirty and full of mosquitos. The next day they again call me to pay extra 150USD for my kids wrong age in booking. Second night my kids room AC stop working and they gave us another room after 3 hours at 3am. I have strong feelings that they behave rude after seeing my passports (Pakistan) . This is worst experience in my 25 years of traveling and more than 50 countries. I recommended not to stay there at all.
