A Perfect location for what we needed. Close to everything.
The rooms were big and spacious.
Service 1 star only because I found one man on the desk difficult to communicate with plus his comment was a little rude to my partner!.
Also the service of cleaning was ok we don't tip daily! only at the end of our holiday. So maybe that is why sometimes we did not have enough towels and the sheets was not changed on the bed.
Otherwise a very nice hotel.

We’ve booked two separate continuous rooms on booking (2 people + 2 people) and we’ve chosen this exactly because it would be separate - when we got there they’ve refused to follow the booking reservation that was clear as water, gave us a room for everyone to sleep together and told us it was not their mistake and they didn’t care. If we wanted, we could pay for another room. Very unfriendly from the start! Then, the room was very old, furniture, tv, everything, there were cracks on the walls, the window didn’t close properly so we could hear the street noise during the night, and the balcony has not been cleaned or fixed in ages… breakfast was average quality. The only good thing is location. Stay away if you want a minimum of quality and friendliness.

I'll start with the negatives first before I go on with the positives. Here it goes.
-the desk manager isn't too friendly. I tried to make a joke but the guy looked at me like I'm some kind of roach in his favorite room or something.
- the room is a bit outdated. The airconditioning system looks like it came out of the Stone age and everything in the room has a dated look to it.
-the room fridge doesn't go cold enough. Its barely colder than room temperature and it's struggling as it is.
- no water boiler or coffee machine
- don't take dinner in with your booking, and just go out to eat each night. The dining room looks super old and dinner is nothing to write home about.
Now the goods
- the room is super clean. Each days maids come, clean the entire room, make the beds and change the towels. Sometimes they leave you with an extra room card.
- the airconditioning works really well and is an easy system.
- the balcony is very nice, great view and almost the entire day in the shade
- the beds are hard, but if you don't mind that, they sleep fine
- they give you 3 pillow each
-breakfast is great! Nice variety, fresh fruits, English warm breakfast, choice of cereal and yoghurt and cakes!
- nice indoor and outdoor pool!
- 4 elevators which go very fast so you never have to wait long.
- the location is amazing. Very close to the sea, walking distance to the town and you can take a bus to Antonio (near town) or a train to faro. Take my advice and go to Antonio for a day, it's a very nice town! You can even take the ferry to Spain!
- the wifi is great! I get great reception everywhere!
For the last part I have 2 tips to give you if you've read all the way through this.
1. Any card will work on the card reader in your hotel room. Library card, supermarket point card, any will do beside the official hotel card
2. The busstop across from the hotel has only 2 moments the bus will ride each day. The bus stops there at 8:30 and 18:30. Please don't go sit there all day expecting the bus to come, you'll be only waisting your own time. If you need a bus, go to the roundabout at the exit of the town, there are many busses who go almost all day.
To sum it up, I would recommend this place!

Very affordable! 5 stars for the relation between the price and what you get! And on top of that, breakfast included! The room walls and furniture was screaming for retirement, nevertheless the room was very clean and had a balcony with an amazing view! The breakfast was a buffet, not particularly amazing but for the price I would say it was very good!
