The welcome upon arrival was not great. We expected some assistance with our luggage to the room, but we had to carry everything ourselves.
That said, the receptionist was very kind and helpful. She was always willing to assist us, and her attitude was truly appreciated.
It should have been clearly communicated during the booking process that the aquapark was closed. This was not mentioned at all, which was disappointing.
Please note that the all-inclusive package does not include the spa or hammam; these services come at an additional cost, which guests should be aware of in advance.
We also noticed that there are not enough shuttle services during the day to go to Marrakech. The only available times were 10:30 or 14:15, which is quite limiting for guests.
Room cleaning was very good, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job.
I would rate this property as a 3-star hotel, no more

Just arrived back after having a holiday at this resort overall it was a positive holiday. All the staff were lovely and friendly. The food was lovely but a bit repetitive at times but it was still lovely. The desserts one of the best desserts we’ve ever had on holiday, they were beautiful. The only letdown of this place was that the main pool was closed Due to refurbishment and that’s what let the holiday down. But it looks like the resort is having a lot of work done and we would certainly come back to the hotel.

I thought with all the talk on this page just about works going on at the hotel i would give this a post.
Despite the Building works going on just now they didnt bother anyone ive just been 3 days ago for a week. The water park is closed and heated pool is closed. There is plenty entertainment throughout the day. darts, ballon popping game, friendly poker, dance games, zumba dance, yoga ect ect. Evening entertainment there is allways entertainment from 6pm til 11pm. From game shows, to dance games, a show by the entertainment team and they include everyone and entertainment for all ages. Now the hotel is brilliant, we got to know the entertainment people very well they were brilliant 🤩 Food is available every hour of the day, from breakfast to late breakfast, lunch to late lunch, then snack bar inbetween late lunch and dinner that you can get very nice french fries and even a mixed grill with chicken, sausages, ham burgers, breads and a salad bar. Then on to dinner till 10 pm then late last hour dinner from 10pm-11 then theres a night club open from 12am-2am then late night takeaway after club openfrom 2ama3am but have to pay for the takeaway food which is understandable. But over all the hotel was brilliant from start to finish, theweather also did make our holiday as we had 20 degrees every day from the 9th till 16th jan was brilliant 🤩

Misleading advertising, poor hygiene, and no support when things went wrong
What is shown on the Valeria Marina Resort website does not reflect the reality. The hotel is nowhere near the standard suggested by the photos. The grounds are in a noticeable state of disrepair and feel generally neglected.
The on-site waterpark did not appear to be closed for the winter; instead, it looked as though it had never been used or properly maintained, reinforcing the impression that facilities are advertised but not genuinely operational.
The food was a major disappointment. Much of it was served cold, and when it wasn’t cold, birds were frequently picking at uncovered food, raising hygiene concerns. The “snack” offering that was promoted did not, in reality, provide any snacks.
The room also had issues. The fridge did not work, and the Wi-Fi dropped out regularly.
Staff attitude made the stay particularly difficult. Asking basic questions often felt like an inconvenience, especially at reception, where interactions were consistently unwelcoming.
I was also uncomfortable with what appeared to be unequal treatment of guests. In particular, Black guests seemed to be treated with noticeably less patience and respect by some staff members.
An EasyJet representative scheduled a lobby meeting for 10am and did not attend. We attempted several times to contact the representative (Ta Ha) through different avenues, without success. What made this more frustrating was that the reception manager confirmed he had the representative’s phone number but refused to contact him on our behalf.
I stayed from 17th–21st January 2026. Sadly, the best part of this trip was the time spent away from the hotel itself. I would not return or recommend this resort.

Where do i start. The whole experience was rather pleasant.
AYMAN on reception was an absolute joy. Very proffessional and courteus. Was always available to assist me when required.
The waiters/waitressess were very attentive and gave great service. Yes the food at times was cold but not as bad as what others have made out.
The rooms were nice and spacious but the overpowering smell of sewage was extremely unpleasant. We had to use incense sticks on a daily. Housekeeping were very attentive.
This hotel is out in the sticks but only a 25 min drive to the city which for around £10 was so good. Reception always on hand to call a taxi when needed. Otherwise it was 40 dirhams returm per person via the shuttlebus.
Points for the hotel to consider would be to integrate a more english approach to the entertainment and to definetly look in to the appalling smell from the bathroom. Also please look in to why the so called heated indoor pool was colder than the outdoor pools. Back on to a positive note, The maintenance that is ongoing did not disturb our stay at all which we appreciated.
I would definetly revisit again.
P.s i look forward to staying in the newly refurbished rooms next time around. They look like there going to be very upmarket !!!
