Absolutely awful if you're English. Just don't go. Everything was in French, didn't understand the entertainment they didn't even try to involve us.
The lady reception staff were lovely & the room maid was so sweet.
We had different coloured wrist bands to the french.
Double cheak your money when exchanging to the conversation as we were £40 short.
There are birds in the dining hall, so just a heads up.
It's not completely all-inclusive as you have a red fob & so many complaints that they were charging people money to their rooms.
The bar at the aquamarine is shut & only a shop where you have to buy things but it's so hot the drinks you take with you get warm so quick so can't spend alot of time over there.
The service is do slow you can ask to be served so many times. it's like they look right through you. But if your french it happens immediately or they even stop serving us to serve them, queue jumping at it's best.
Air conditioning isn't great & kept breaking down & when the power cuts happened, obviously, it would work.
Just so busy there the pool was packed awful beat music round the pool just asked politely if they could put on some works wide music maybe not French & got told were not just accommodating you go to another pool. But where we were sunbathing, they were at least 12 English & just wanted something a little different. As they had gone to lunch anyway.
The list is endless, cockroaches, and ants in the rooms.
I travel a lot & would never recommend this hotel.
As it's sold out of France by a travel company to send them there.

Unless you happen to either be French or fluent in it, be aware that this hotel only speaks French. All entertainment is directed at French guests. Staff do not speak English well or at all. If the entertainment staff see you are English they will purposefully ignore you.
The hygiene in this hotel is far far below standard. Birds freely fly and feed on the food in the restaurant, Toilets are not cleaned regularly (not sure if they are even cleaned daily as my daughters complained that the toilets were in an unusable state on 3 separate days) and are not well lit. It was so bad that the kids had to go back to the rooms (which are spread out and not nearby) if they needed the loo.
The reception team gave us keys to two rooms on arrival which were already occupied which we found out once we found the rooms and walked in on the families in there at 12 midnight (after we had dragged our cases across the campus as no support from the hotel to carry the cases, Which considering we have an old lady with us was appalling). Another of the rooms had to be swapped after the roof in the shower collapsed when the shower was turned on.
The hotel has run out of glasses on multiple nights in the bar and ran out of paper cups during the day and started giving young kids wine glasses to take to the pool. Needless to say there were numerous breakages and kids at risk of cutting themselves.
The pool isn't cleaned nor are the pool areas hosed down at night resulting in wasps everywhere during the day especially as so many drinks being spilt were attracting them.
The main entertainment pool is in a very poor state of repair with lights hanging out and floating in the pool, side stones broken and very sharp, Drainage gutters broken or missing, Rubbish floating in the kids pool as well as live and dead cockroaches and other insects.
Food is very difficult to describe. If you like a western cuisine you will eat nothing in the restaurants. My family of 9 on holiday here have lived off chip sandwiches at most meals. This is after 3 of the party were adventurous and tried the local dishes and had severe food poisoning rendering them in bed for 2-3 days each (not at the same time and not the same food). I have travelled the world and like all foods but even I have struggled to find anything I have felt comfortable eating. This claims to be an all inclusive hotel but there is only one snack bar open and people have to ask the bar staff (who don't understand any English) for the food which is brought out at some point. Drinks are only available until 11pm after which you have to pay. The onsite nightclub is chargeable to enter and all drinks are charged to your room.
Cleanliness is bottom of the priorities as plates and cutlery were rarely clean. Sift through to find clean plates is my advice. Get to the restaurants as soon as they open as the insects and birds will be on the food for much less time. Don't bother asking what the food being served is as the staff do not understand you and even were there are signs telling you what the food is, they are usually wrong.
This is rated as a 4 star hotel but would struggle to get a license to open in most western countries. This was recommended on the TUI website as a great place to bring kids, Waterpark, Entertainment (this was the same thing every night for 2 weeks, consisting of the entertainment team singing and MC'ing to drum and base and afro Caribbean dance music), the very same music that played on repeat at the pool all day long!!!!!
Multiple pools (only one can be swam in without paying unless you go to the shared one by the water park which is a trek to get to and has no facilities near it) but these are only waste deep other than the main pool or are part of the paid area where you have to pay £20 to use and all drinks are chargeable.
TVs in three of the four rooms we had didn't work, Air con is very poor, Live wires hang out of walls and the whole place is in a state of disrepair. Needless to say we will never travel with TUI again.
My advice is avoid this hotel at all costs!

I recently stayed at Valeria Medina Club Resort in Morocco and had the most incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of energy.
Special thanks to Munir from Guest Relations, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. His kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests really stood out—he made our holiday experience absolutely amazing.
A huge highlight of our stay was the entertainment team. They truly made our holiday unforgettable by involving everyone in the evening activities and creating such a fun, inclusive vibe. There was never a dull moment thanks to their enthusiasm and dedication!
The food was absolutely amazing—plenty of variety, always fresh, and something to suit everyone’s taste. Every meal felt like a treat!
The rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard, and the entire resort was well-maintained. The bar staff, waiters, and everyone we interacted with were so friendly, helpful, and full of good energy—it really made the whole stay that much better.
Overall, Valeria Medina Club Resort exceeded our expectations. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable holiday in Morocco. Can’t wait to come back!

The animation team is excellent, always extremely friendly and looking to provide entertainment from 9am up until the early hours of the morning. Everyone is brilliant and they all love their jobs, as well as making sure everyone has the best experience. Could not ask for better members of staff. Would Definitely recommend. Oking is excellent and is always looking for the best in everyone.
