We stayed here for a week for a family holiday and it’s been a pleasant experience. All the staff were friendly and helpful, pool was perfect for children, entertainment team went above and beyond to engage with everyone, there was a good variety of food, restaurant was good. There was free shuttle to town which was handy. Only downside was that poolside bar only offered certain food at certain times so we would need to order pizzas and pasta ahead of time for our daughter for food during the day. It would be even better if all food is available at all times. But overall it was a great hotel for a family holiday in Marrakech.

This was my third time at staying here. Whilst the hotel was great (excellent food, entertainment and reception very helpful) the cleaning team are non existent. I had no room service for three days (4 of us in a room). After two days I queried with the reception who said "consider it done". I was shocked to come back and find that the hotel (or cleaners) had then turned my card around to do not disturb and popped a letter under the door to say that the sign had been on there two days. When I raised this again with with hotel - nothing was done about it. Over our 5 days stay we only had the room cleaned and towels freshened once. If your want fresh towels and toilet roll - then avoid this hotel! The non existent cleaning team are a letdown!
There is a shop onsite - avoid purchasing anything from here! The prices are extortionate. He charged is £10 for a pocket vaseline and small pack of sanitary towels (double the prices in london)! The prices for snacks were more then what we paid at the airport!! Absolutely rip off! And again, a huge let down to the hotel!
The team organising excursions were helpful but when booking a private taxi to the main square for 200DH he tried fobbing us off and putting us on a shared coach for the same price!

Not the greatest experience and SERIOUSLY wouldn’t reccomend.
After coming back from a week in Marrakech i am very dissapointed in the BE LIVE EXPERIENCE.
Positives (Not Many):
- The rooms were clean and modern, although a few people on our corridor complained of ants in their room, luckily we didnt have any
- Rooms were cleaned daily
- They have one A la carte resteraunt in which you have to book, and can only attend once(such a shame). The food there was exceptional and they shouldn’t limit the amount of times you can attend
- A Big shoutout to ABDELAZIZ in the Restaurant! His service was exceptional. So attentive to our family during our stay so staff like this definitely make the experience more enjoyable
Negatives:
- FLIES: The hotel is overrun with FLIES! Not just the one or two but hundreds! If cleanliness is something you value, this is not the hotel for you. We were constantly batting away flies in the buffet resteraunt 3 times a day, food is also left uncovered so the flies have a feast of everything before you do.
- FOOD: The buffet food is a 2/5 and that is being generous! The Chefs really need to look into their cooking and taste because it wasn’t great. I was afraid to touch the meat just based of the smell and taste and with it being uncovered for long periods of time. I survived on salads and bread rolls for the majority of the trip. Marrakech is known for great food so having this experience was extremely disappointing.
- POOL: With it being a family hotel i expected a lot of children as we were travelling with kids ourself, but for the size of the hotel the pool is far too small. It is a fight to get a sunbed every morning so everyone comes down super early to leave their towels
- SERVICE: Customer service was appauling. On one occasion we had to almost beg for towels for our room, after calling reception 4 times, and each time they repeatedly said “we will bring them up” 4 hours later and still no towels. Check in process was extremely long and tiring, no sense of urgency from the reception staff.
- On one occasion i was locked out of my room, i went down to notify the receptionist, and she said the would send a technician to open the door, i waited outside my room for 30 minutes, called from another room and got no answer, called again only to be then told i need to come down and get a key!!!!When i was told to go up and wait outside my room. This resulted in me walking back to the reception twice which was ridiculous especially when my room was so far.
- ENTERTAINMENT: Was very basic, if you are travelling with kids they will often be left to their own devices. The entertainment team do try their best; but overall the children were bored and relied on the pool to stay entertained.

Three family members attended the hotel from 26th February - 3rd March 2025. The hotel is a 30-minute drive from the airport. Spread over a large site, the hotel features 2x ATMs, a large buffet dining area for breakfast, lunch and dinner (all good freshly prepared and very delicious); within the reception area is a bar, a games room area, a TV lounge, a tourist booking desk and a small gift shop. There is a large pool with two child-friendly paddling areas. Opposite the pool is a dedicated bar and kitchen serving alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and juices. Choices of food: pizzas, hot and cold sandwiches, French fries and burgers, to name a few. There is also a small a la carte restaurant next door to the main dining hall (there were no vegetarian options, and the menu was very limited).
The room we stayed in was nice and bright with very comfortable beds. Outside the sliding doors was a small seating area with a table, chairs and loungers. The wardrobe space is generous, housing a small fridge, plus a safe. WiFi is good and fast.
If you want to go into town, you will either have to book a taxi or book a seat on the free shuttle bus service. All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Definitely one to recommend.

Do not come to the BE DEAD EXPERIENCE! Thisnplace should definitely not be classed as a 4-star hotel as it was goving hunger games, a battle of life and death. If I could erase this place from my memory, I would.
PROS: Very limited
-The A La Carte restaurant next door was very welcoming and friendly. Food and dessert here was chef’s kiss and it felt really refreshing to actually have a nice experience in this establishment for a change!
-The rooms: Pretty nice, especially the bathroom. Seemed modern and well put together. Nice view from the balcony of flowers and plants.
CONS: Many, however, I’ll keep this condensed for convenience.
Food: The food was absolute trash. Why was there a hard piece of plastic/glass in my rice? The food especially meat looked like slop. An eyesore and I feel bad for anyone that had to stomach that as I know they were struggling on the toilet later. The only good thing they had here was the fries and chicken tenders (Ironic as it was the only food they didnt make!) The processed meats and cheeses looked stale and like plastic, like they’d give you endless constipation and block your organs up. The burgers at the snack bar (cheeseburger and hamburger in particular) were awful. Took one bite out of it and it was tough. When I looked inside, the patty was red and there was this dent-like shape? I dont know what was in that patty but it looks like it would cut your life expectancy in half. The packaging and maintenance of the food was extremely poor. Foods like bread, condiments, jams, etc, basically everything, had no covers so the flies could get to it and do their business on it before you could even get a bite. Automatic infection. I barely ate at this trashy buffet because I would honestly rather starve then go through days, weeks, if not months of endless torture, physically and mentally from this food. I have so much more to say but will keep it short and condensed.
Wi-Fi: Honestly, just buy data. The wifi here is absolutely SHITE. Disconnecting every five minutes, cant even have a simple google search without stressing out.
Ants: Ants crawling up cracks, even coming into your rooms and trying to relax with you! Ants will come into storage and clothing units.
Pool: Extremely small and the many tiles missing which could be dangerous and injure you and kids.Bits in the pool as well, needs to be cleaned out.
Atmosphere: Lobby is old, ugly and outdated. There is this occasional disgusting amell wafting around the place. Lights in hallways would flicker at night as if you’re in a horror movie running from a killer. Honestly, would prefer that so they can take me out of my misery from this place. The TVs in the rooms had very limited channels and would show up with these endless popups every 5 minutes blocking you from what you’re watching.
Honestly, do not even consider this place. It is a no-go. This was my first ever trip to Morocco and honestly , it just ruined the vibe. However, some nice excursions and cats made up for it! Shame on this establishment and some workers (eg. receptionists [very slow and work as if they have no life in them]). This place is honestly sad and disgusting.
