Before reading, please note that I hate complaining, but I feel it’s important to warn others.
We arrived hopeful, but our experience quickly went downhill. On the first night, my 3-year-old son hit his head on a sharp bedside table that is fixed to the wall, resulting in 13 stitches and 12 hours at a nearby health clinic. When I ran to reception, there was no pathway lighting at all, which is extremely dangerous at night, especially for parents with children.
There was no urgency from reception, and it took around 20 minutes to get a taxi to the clinic. While the medical staff were excellent, the hotel showed very little concern afterwards. The room layout is not child-safe, and nothing was done by management to follow up.
This is not a family-friendly hotel. The kids club and mini disco were repeatedly advertised but never actually happened, leaving our child disappointed every evening. There was also no clear or consistent information about activities in the hotel.
The pools were freezing and visibly dirty, slides closed for long periods, and there was no entertainment around the pool.
Food and drink were very poor for a supposed 4-star all-inclusive. The buffet was basic, badly labelled, and there were no allergen labels at all, which is a major safety concern. Hygiene was also an issue — drinking glasses were often dirty and still had orange pulp in them. Cocktails were unpleasant, the wine undrinkable, and many guests ordered takeaway food each night.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, with very limited on-site facilities, and staff appeared uninterested throughout our stay — even at check-out.
Overall, we would not return. What was meant to be a cheap break ended up costing us far more than expected. Buy cheap, buy twice.

Nothing more then it's ok. The staff is very nice and friendly but the rest it's a bit disappointing to be honest. Food is less then average, the choice is not bad, but it lacks a flavour and the stews need more cooking time.
We got a room with a broken garden doors, it didn't lock at all. The staff was trying to persuade me that's ok to have the room opened as they have cameras, and I I can use safe for valuables- guess what? The safe was broken as well. Locks couldn't be fixed so we got a new room but the next day.
On the positive side the pools are very good! Kids love it. Lots of sunbeds available, just better take your pool towel as they're running out of them before midday.
If you're planning sightseeing bare in mind that's far from the central town, but the hotel offers free shuttle bus. Book as early as you can as the seats are limited.

Awful - stay away!
The staff are friendly but the management are awful! The new year's eve party was segregated and if you didn't book the hotel through a travel agent, you were banished to a different room from the party or had to pay an additional, unaffordable price and the management were uncompromising. The hotel ruined my family's new year. Also, there was never enough clean cutlery in the dining area and you had to ask for bowls and spoons. I've been to many other hotels in Marrakech so please choose somewhere else!

We are here presently. Very different holiday but we are well looked after.Spa is superb; staff are incredibly friendly. The mattresses and pillows were too solid for my likenesses however all sorted after the first night. Enjoyed the pools and traditional food. Everything is clean. We have brought own cuos with beakers which was highly enciuraged by barmen aa there are wasos in the area. No atings ; far stronger coctails

We stayed at the Labranda last week for a 5-night stay, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The building itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming.
The hotel is located a bit far from the main hotspots of Marrakech, but I recommend booking taxis directly through the hotel — they’re reliable and convenient. There’s also a local mall about a 5-minute drive away, and taxi drivers are happy to wait or return at a confirmed time. I would suggest going to the Medina Market whilst there, there was a lovely Kaftan shop that sold dresses along with soveniers. Mohammed was great. Very reasonably priced.
The on-site shop is quite limited and doesn’t stock many essentials, so don’t rely on it for snacks or drinks. We arrived late in the evening and had to order through the Glovo app, which took about an hour as there was nothing available to purchase after 10 PM.
We booked the all-inclusive option, which was buffet-style. The food selection was fair, though often served lukewarm — however, there is a microwave available if needed.
The atmosphere felt very safe, and both staff and guests were friendly. While most people spoke French, communication was still easy. The spa was a highlight — fantastic service and very reasonably priced.
The hotel has two main pools and one adult-only pool, all clean and well-kept. Although the pools are freezing. Security at the gates was also reassuring.
The only downside was that reception wasn’t always consistent — sometimes requests weren’t followed up. Still, it’s a comfortable and good-value hotel overall.
