My stay at Riad Karmela was wonderful and memorable, the rooms were cosy, air-conditioned and traditional.
Room service was dedicated and friendly, breakfast was sumptuous.
Location while been very central within the Medina with attractions and landmarks easily accessible it does come with busy pedestrian and motorbikes traffic (however I slept well without noise been an issue).

A well-deserved oasis of peace and coolness in the chaos and madness of the Medina in Marrakesh. I stayed for 4 days in Marrakesh with my family and had a wonderful time at Riad Karmela.
The inner courtyards are beautiful, the rooftop terraces as well, and the small pools and jacuzzi really add to the atmosphere. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail and in keeping with the local style — each one with a different color theme.
A few small imperfections are part of the charm of the place.
The staff were kind and welcoming.
Breakfast was varied and plentiful.
This was by far the best accommodation we had in Morocco — the only one that truly exceeded our expectations during our trip, in a country where hotel standards are far below what we Europeans are used to.
If we ever come back to Marrakesh, we’ll definitely return to Karmela Palace. Highly recommended!

What a fabulous Riad! Located in the Medina. Spaces were beautiful, 3 buildings, many areas to enjoy including rooftops with plunge pools, reading areas, areas for enjoying a beverage. Dining area was an oasis, trees and greenery galore with fountain and there were great breakfast options, dinners delicious. Rooms were large, had great character. Bathrooms well-appointed. Service was just amazing, staff really cared you had everything you needed and helped arrange pick-up, drop-off and just were so friendly! Can’t say enough about the great experience we had!

A most wonderful oasis in the heart of Marrakesh. Felt very safe with teenagers in the Riad and no worries about locking rooms etc. staff paid so much attention to detail and really looked after us. A special mention for Mohammed who went out of his way to make us all feel so welcome. Traditional Riad which only had narrow alleyway access but would recommend ordering the Tuk tuk ride from front desk - the kids enjoyed that rare experience of the tuk tuk riding through the narrow alleyways.
