Smy Kos Beach & Splash is an amazing hotel and they have great pools and a splash park with slides for the little ones.
The food was okay. Lots of choice. Lots of salads and fruit. I don't know how someone can write that there was little food and it's always the same!! Luckily I didn't give it to other people's reviews because the food was amazing and I ate a lot I was with my father who is 80 and he was satisfied he always found his cakes amazing!!! The rooms were small but nice only a very soft bed as I have a problem with crises but it's bearable.
The beach is about a 5 minute walk along a paved road. Private small beach with another pool nearby and a bar and buffet. in the location of the hotel there is a really beautiful beach with plenty of sun loungers, beautiful clean sea with a gradual entry into the sea, and sometimes the sea is with big waves depending on the weather sometimes it's quite windy and there are beautiful sunsets. Thank you very much for a wonderful holiday I will definitely come back next year.🙏🇬🇷❤️

Our holiday at Smy Kos was Excellent!
In particular, the Animation team Federico, Emma, Alyissia, Greta, Loris, led by Matilda were absolutely amazing!
They were always enthusiastic, engaging, vibrant and full of energy!
Their shows were impeccable, and must have required so much effort and hard work.
We would always see them rehearsing at night until 1-2 am. These guys BY FAR were the best part of the holiday.
The sound, lighting, production and choreography were extremely professional. far surpassing ANY other holiday entertainment I've seen before.

From simple sports activities to game show nights, they offered a wide array of activities that gave this vacation the ultimate kick.

Normally I don't write reviews, but this time I wanted to make the time to do so, as for me this trip has been really great in many aspects.
For a woman travelling solo, sometimes an unknown destination can be a little challenging. But from the moment I arrived (late at night) they took good care of me. I felt really welcome. And everyone made me feel like home. I even extended my trip for 5 more days, because I did not want to leave yet. So i stayed 13 days in totaal.
That said I will tell my honest thoughts about the place.
Food.
During the day there are different food options. You have breakfast in the main restaurant, then there is lunch both in the main restaurant and in the 'snackbar' near the beach/infinity pool. Both restaurants have many options (also during diner in the evening). Everyday you find fresh fruits, salades, vegetarian, meat and fish options and a large assortiment of dessert.
I am a huge foody, and for me the food was great. I don't eat meat, but there are always vegetarian and fish options. All the food is fresh and most of it also really healty, which in my opinion is great. Off course I didnt like everything even much, but it's a taste thing. I might not like it and the next person loves it. There have maybe 2 days the food options for my taste where not so great, but there will always be something you do like. Just be creative... I believe between 5 and 6 in the afternoon there are also some little snacks available at the bar inside. And at both pool areas you can have ice cream almost the whole day.
Drinks.
The drinks were just fine. For me most of the cocktails are a little too sweet, but they were really helpful to make it taste more to my likings. And there were so many options, so there is definitely something which suits to prety much everybody's taste! Really.. I don't know what people expect in an all inclusive, because this was just fine! I've had waaaaay worse.
Resort & location
The bad reviews about the smell is not something to worry about as they have solved the problem.
Thr resort is a little remote, which i love. You can really take a stap back from your busy life! They have a private beach, and two nice swimming/lounge areas. And if you need to, you can easily take a bus multiple times a day to the center or Kos and other locations. There is a bus stop nearby. €2.30- €3.80 for a ticket depending where you go. If you are thinking about renting a car it is definitely a good option or even for a few days, if you would like the explore the whole island. Taxi's are a little expensive, so i would recommend either a bus or to rent a car.
Staff
The people working in the resort are lovely! They work hard and really try their best possible way to make your stay a great one! I was a little early in the season, so it was still quite in the resort, which meant there wasnt much entertainment going on yet, but also without the entertainment they tried their best to still let you enjoy in the best possible way! If you need anything they are willing to help you and go the extra mile. And special thanks to Nikos and Ilias to make it extra memorable!
For me this was a great experience and I really got the rest and positive vibes i needed. I will definitely be back one-day.
The only point of 'criticism' the inside lounge area is to brightly light for my liking in the evening. It doesn't give you the cosy warm feeling and vibe I would like to have when going to lounge inside in the evening. Even if there has to be more light for whatever reason, i would still prefer a warmer ligt and not sharp. But then again, it was still a little colder outside in the evenings and no entertainment outside, so it might be possible that later in the season you will not end up inside so much.

The hotel can be as beautiful as it wants to be. It is outrageous that the air conditioning in our room has not worked for 5 days (still not working). It should be so easy for a hotel to find a solution maybe a fan or a room where the air conditioning works or how about getting specialised staff to fix the air conditioning (there were 3 people there who apart from disturbing me 4 times while getting ready only breathed away the air in the room). The world could be so nice if everyone did their job. We are here without children and I don't want to imagine how nice it is to sleep in an overheated room with children. Long story short absolutely !!!NO RECOMMENDATION!!!
