An Exceptional Experience! The Friendliest Staff We've Ever Met.
We always have a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax on a Greek island. The entire team provides truly exceptional service; the staff are the friendliest we have ever met and constantly go out of their way to accommodate every guest requirement.
The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the hotel itself is beautifully situated with a really nice view. It's conveniently located, just a short 10-minute drive from Kardamaina, Kos.
The food was a major highlight! You can always find something delicious to eat or snack on, and the quality is outstanding—honestly, some of the best hotel food we've ever encountered.
It's also a perfect place for families and highly recommended for those traveling with kids.

Exceeded Expectations—A Relaxing Family Escape
We’ve just returned from a 5-night stay and genuinely wish we could have extended. This hotel surprised us in the best way.
We’ve stayed in plenty of 5-star hotels over the years, and while this one may not have the same polish on paper, the experience was just as good—if not better in some ways.
Yes, the rooms are a little dated, but both the Swim-Out Maisonette and the Standard Mountain View were fantastic: spacious, cool with excellent air conditioning, blackout blinds for a restful sleep, comfy beds, and a great shower.
The buffet food was consistently tasty. It’s not à la carte, but there was always something fresh and enjoyable, with plenty of variety.
Staff were outstanding—friendly, helpful, and constantly working to keep everything running smoothly. Their energy and kindness made a real difference.
There were always plenty of sunbeds and shaded areas available, both by the pools and on the beach, which made relaxing effortless.
The location is remote, but the local bus to the village is quick, reliable, and just €2 per adult—easy to navigate.
Before arriving, I was anxious after reading mixed reviews, but we’ve been thoroughly impressed. A lovely, peaceful break that exceeded our expectations.

Family is only in name; there are almost no facilities for kids. Near the hotel, there is a little 0.5m deep pool, a playground with broken swings, three water slides in the hotel next door, and one arcade room with air hockey and a couple of claw machines.
The room was spacious, seems renovated, but there were a couple of “issues,” like an electricity plug dangling loosely from a socket or a curtain pole that looked like it was going to snap in half.
The bathroom seemed freshly renovated and clean.
Food was great, with a lot of things to choose from and a couple of items that rotated daily.
The best thing in this hotel is the staff; they work really hard to meet all the expectations, from the guys at the reception desk to the cleaning service, all of them giving it all to the guests.

The hotel has spacious rooms with air-conditioning, soft bed, big terrace, coffee maker, good shower. The staff is professional, amiable, helpful. The water pools are nicely located. The bars are fine, the beach is big and clean with sun loungers and umbrellas (free of charge). The restaurant has a good choice of various dishes. The beverages are OK. The sea is fantastic with picturesque views to islands and mountains. Highly recommended.
The only thing which must be changed: the smoking must be prohibited throughout the hotel and the beach area! There are a lot of smoking people, spoiling the air and poisoning the people!

We had a lovely stay at Mitsis Family Village. The views were stunning, especially from the infinity pool overlooking the sea. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the direct access to the pool from some rooms was a great bonus. The beach area was well organized with plenty of sunbeds. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Great value for money — would definitely come back!
