Incredible hotel. So many options for food, and it is all outstanding. The grounds are beautiful and you’re never more than a few steps from a pool or an eatery. Breakfast at Destination Greek was lovely. Stamatia is absolutely great - so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely amazing resort to stay in and the staff can’t do enough for you! We had brunch booked at the Destination Greek restaurant and it was well worth a visit - the food was incredible, particularly the pancakes which are AMAZING. Our server, Stamatia, was so lovely fussing over my daughter and making her first brunch experience very enjoyable.

We had a wonderful holiday at this great hotel. The beach location and so many pools was the perfect mix. Also there were fabulous restaurants and food. Highlight was brunch, where we were looked after amazingly by Stamatia. Would love to come back!

Food is great, massive variety and a special thank you to Stamatia for taking great care of us! In all Restaurants you get treated with authentic Greek hospitality which is lovely. We had a room with private pool which was incredible so I would definitely recommend this room! Thanks again blue domes!

We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could've stayed longer! We upgraded our room to a Double Sea View and I'm so glad we did. It was beautiful, the view was incredible and the bed was so so comfy, we didn't want to get up! The Nescafe coffee machine, mini bar and toiletries were a lovely touch. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived and everyone was so polite and friendly throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Being able to book all restaurants at no extra charge was fantastic as although the food in the main restaurant was lovely, it felt a little repatative at times. The sunbeds by the pool were really comfy and although snapped up early, they soon cleared throughout the day. The waiter and bar staff were brilliant. Our fave was the pizza at lunch at the Med! We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Although be prepared for a lot of steps, there are lifts however. It is out of the way, but we knew this before booking but it was perfect for the relaxation we needed.

I booked a week all inclusive for my sons wedding in September 2023. We spent 2 nights here and had to move hotels. Be aware the hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere. It does say due to hilly location not suitable for disabilities, what it should say is there are no lifts within the hotel and the staircases are spiral, making it completely inaccessible to anyone with mobility issues. The rooms advertise the new limited number of new rooms so be aware because they are limited it is unlikely you will get one. The manager told me they are inundated with complaints because of this. The only time we tried to eat was at the late night buffet which was disgusting. We paid thousands of pounds for this and it was a complete waste of money. I have complained to love holidays for advertising a room and standard that we did not get. We were offered to move rooms at an additional cost of 200 euros, I told them I wasn't paying them another penny and moved hotels. The rooms and bathrooms are advertised as 'traditional modern ' they have not been updated in the old part of the hotel, at a guess since the 90s. I'd hate for anyone else to have the experience we did after spending thousands of pounds.

We visited Summer Palace Beach Hotel at the end of July and from the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. While our room wasn't in the newly renovated section, it was comfortable and clean. The highlight of the hotel was undoubtedly the stunning infinity pool, providing breathtaking views. There was always a spot waiting for us at the beautiful beach, where we enjoyed the sun and sea. The staff at the bars and restaurants were exceptional, delivering top-notch service throughout our stay. The concierge services were a fantastic touch, ensuring our needs were met promptly. The only drawback was the food, which was decent but not outstanding. On a positive note, the hotel had an excellent kids' area with attentive and friendly staff. However, a significant downside was the numerous steps around the property, making it less suitable for guests with prams. Overall, Summer Palace Beach Hotel offered a pleasant and welcoming experience with some room for improvement.

We stayed at Summer Palace Beach Hotel for 3 days in early September. Our room had a breathtaking view and overall we were very happy with it. Spacious, comfortable and clean. We were greeted by the staff with kindness and a smile (truth is that we smile a lot too). The Med restaurant was our favourite spot. We enjoyed our cocktails at Dusk bar along with great music, dancing under the stars, gazing at the Big Blue. Thank you all for making our stay so wonderful.

We had the best time at Mitsis Summer Palace hotel in Kos! Staff were very good and the bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had overseas! Room was clean and very spacious. We had a pool outside our room which was amazing. Lots of choice of food and the Med A La Cart restaurant was our favourite. The sun loungers by the pools are mini sofas which were amazing! Definately coming back to this hotel can’t fault it

Such a beautiful resort, incredibly family friendly. We were lucky enough to have our room upgraded & had a pool right on our terrace. The food is delicious too but above all, the staff made our experience - Valentino especially! Everyone was so kind & willing to help in any way that they could. We will definitely aim to visit here again in the future.

One of the best places I've ever been to, rooms were spot on, service was spot on, Beautiful location, went for 5 days but just wanted to stay. Went all inclusive. Food was great, cocktails were all made at bar properly. Beach Close by with hotel bar and food included and bus down to it came with it. You could get a bus into the town for 1.80 euros. On site shops Went on a girls holiday but suitable for children to and entertainment and kids slide etc. Can't praise or recommend this holiday enough. Would definitely go back.

Lovely room, beautiful mountain back drop but stairs to room a bit steep. Food nice and plentiful. Staff very polite and attentive. Location is a bit isolated if you like to go for walks but there is a frequent bus service to Kardamena and Kos town. Sea was beautiful, beach shingle but fine. Great amenities on the beach. All in all would highly recommend and would go again.

I went on Kos in a half of October. Weather was still fantastic 27-28°C. Resort is nice maintained. Very clean and looked after. Cleaning service in rooms every day. Restaurant in main building spacious with very nice view. Food amazing, always fresh. Lots of local cuisine but also more European. Staff in resort very friendly, hard working and always smiling. Beach around 7min walk down from Villa. Sun lounges and parasols available with no additional fee. Also drink and snack bar available on the beach and very clean toilets.

Spent our half term holiday here. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. 3 at best but lets look at the good first - quick to fix issues (our ac was dripping on the bed and this was fixed within an hr). Bus stop right outside and goes to Kardamena and Kos town was good. Beach was nice. Salt water swimming pools were nice. Water pressure for the shower was good. Supermarket was farily priced and stocked most things. Kids club and disco was good. Good views. Now the bad - we had a late flight and there was no food on arrival even though we were told there would be - not great when travelling with kids!. Food options were really poor. For all inclusive it was really bland, same dishes daily and by the 7th day I was bored sick of the food. Day entertainment was poor, nothing much to keep you entertained The hills are steep, the walk to anywhere feels like a heavy workout. The rooms are so dated, mini bar was restocked every 2 days but tea and coffee was not resrocked in the 7 days we were there. I noticed the dining staff helping themselves to refreshments whilst on shift... Not professional at all. The queue for the bar was ridiculous, Staff were having shots with guests. My kid had a great time but he's 5. If you're looking for luxury hotel stay at any other of the hotels in the Mitsis resort. This was the worst of them all. I wouldn't go back and i feel slightly robbed going by the pictures on the website. I booked this for my wifes birthday and I wish I didn't.

It is more like a 3 start hotel. Nice people at the lobby. Food and ambience in the main restaurant is a desaster. Hotel is not executing own rules (dress code at dinner, reservation of sunbeds by my German friends). Cleaning of room not good. If you drink a lot, eat a lot and if you don’t care about quality, this is your hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mitsis Norida Beach Hotel on an all-inclusive basis, and it was an exceptional experience. The standout element of this trip was the incredible service provided by Vivi from the Public Relations department. Her professionalism and genuine care made the stay even more enjoyable. Sofia, the yoga teacher, offered a lovely and healing experience during the yoga sessions. Her motivation and expertise were truly inspiring. The pilates sessions were fantastic too, providing a well-rounded wellness experience. The hotel itself is a beautiful property with impeccable service. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the food served was of high quality. The animation team added an extra layer of entertainment and enjoyment to the stay. Mitsis Norida Beach Hotel is an excellent choice for families. In addition to the excellent service and family-friendly atmosphere, I was particularly impressed by the pristine beaches with crystal-clear water. The timing in late October still offered delightful weather, making it possible to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The evenings were equally enjoyable with captivating music and shows that added an extra layer of entertainment to our stay. Mitsis Norida Beach Hotel truly excelled in providing a well-rounded and enjoyable vacation experience. I will definately come back!

I've been meaning to share my thoughts on my trip in early October, and I finally have the chance. The dining options offered a mixed experience. The a la carte restaurants, featuring Asian cuisine and a dedicated fish restaurant, were exceptional and WELL WORTH the visit. I highly recommend booking through the app months before your trip to secure a spot, as availability tends to fill up quickly. The main restaurant, while offering fair and tasty options, became quite chaotic during peak meal hours. The self-serve buffet setup raised concerns about the spread of germs. Additionally, the beachside pizzeria, while iconic and delicious, could benefit from a broader range of toppings beyond plain cheese. The beachside burger hut, a hidden gem not prominently advertised on the website, offered delightful meals even though it seemingly was for guests from the neighboring hotel. However, both the burger hut and pizzeria faced challenges with open-air kitchens attracting flies and wasps. It would be advisable for Norida to invest in more secluded kitchen and food preparation areas. The rooms were impeccably clean but somewhat dated. The TV only featured German channels, a limitation for a purported five-star hotel. On the occasion of our anniversary, the hotel sweetly treated us to a chocolate cake and petals on the bed upon arrival. Despite requesting limited room cleaning via the app, the maid ignored the instructions and cleaned daily when we forgot to use the do not disturb sign. The beach, though picturesque, was uncomfortable due to its stony surface. The dodgy loungers only added to the discomfort. Fortunately, as non-avid beachgoers, we weren't greatly affected. The main swimming pools were well-maintained, although finding available sun loungers around the main pool posed a challenge. I suggest the resort invest in additional loungers for the grass area near the gym to alleviate the need to travel to the older pool. The older pool, closer to the beach, had somewhat grimy floors but provided a pleasant sun lounging experience. The hotel facilities were generally clean, with the lobby, dining area, and games room displaying more of a dated, vintage style—a preference that may appeal to some. The hotel efficiently arranged our airport transfers, adhering to the schedule to the minute. The driver provided excellent service. Evening entertainment left room for improvement, possibly influenced by the off-peak October timing. The nightly routine, starting with an hour of Baby Shark at 8 pm for kids and followed by adult entertainment (a band, quiz, or dance performance) from 9:30 to 11, became repetitive. Diversifying the offerings with acts like magicians, stunt shows, comedy, or puppet shows for children could enhance the overall experience. In conclusion, the staff at this resort deserves commendation for their incredible dedication and hard work. While I appreciate the experience, I would hesitate to classify the resort as a solid five-star establishment, leaning more towards a four-star rating. There are alternatives that offer greater value. Nonetheless, it remains a worthwhile destination.

Our first all-inclusive stay and it was great. Not too far from the airport and a great beach. The sea view bungalow room we had was great. Furniture was matching, and it A/C was good. Our balcony was a little less private. We were very close to the beach, which was clean, sandy, and even had fish. You won't get name brand alcohol of any sort, which is normal for an all-inclusive. There are no heated pools, so our infant girl didn't enjoy them. Still, there are water slides for children. It's a little far from Kos town. The best thing to do is hire a car at the airport, if you want to travel. The main letdown is the food. You would primarily eat from the main restaurant where breakfast spread never changes. Lunch and dinner are better, but not much. There aren't that many Greek dishes. Speciality restaurants are good, but the service is slow, and you can only book them once per seven days. We would have liked it if there were snacks in the room as well.

Would definitely return for an easy laid back holiday. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful with stunning views. The rooms aren’t the most luxurious but have everything you need and always clean with simple design. Our room had an amazing sea view and just a short walk from the main resort but they offer a golf cart to transport you if you don’t fancy the short walk. All of the food and drinks were delicious and a great variety. Beautiful crystal clear water at the beach and so many swimming pools to choose from. Great entertainment in the evening but enough space to avoid if you’re not in the mood. Couldn’t fault anything about it. Family friendly but not overwhelming with kids stuff and children everywhere.

If you're looking for a 5-star establishment, look elsewhere. My family and I had never been accommodated in such a mediocre hotel. - Environment: while the scenery is fabulous, the slopes (up to 30%) of this hotel will quickly make you forget it. - Rooms: it's a disaster. We had room 94, located as far from the pools as from the restaurants. The room was not very clean, totally in need of a refresh. The shower curtain was unhygienic for a damaged bathtub with dirty seals. Very uncomfortable beds causing back pain after 9 nights. To top it all off, a colony of ants had taken over the room. We alerted the maids and reception by showing a video of the cohabitants but no one intervened despite beautiful promises. Towels were old, torn and irritating. Even a roadside hotel wouldn't offer such discomfort to its clients. - Restaurants: you have to book for the à la carte restaurant but you must also notify what you want to eat if you don't want the imposed (Greek) menu. Impossible to order the à la carte steak (+ €20 supplement) as we had not notified beforehand. How to do so when no one has explained the principle before? Quality of the à la carte restaurant menu: really mediocre. The chicken soup made me sick. Main restaurant: a school canteen. Always the same meals with no variety and of poor quality. Don't even think about eating international, it's a utopia. The upstairs does offer a different country's menu each evening, but it remains minimalist and not very tasty. Fish and meat overcooked and therefore dry. For my part, my meals for our first 5 days of vacation were: * morning: mini plain pancakes * noon: tomato sauce pasta and watermelon * evening: tomato sauce pasta and watermelon From the 6th to the 10th day, we dined at Thomas Grill & Mezze in Kardamena - Pools: the only positive point even though the surroundings and the very dirty deck chairs were never cleaned during our stay at the pool exit towards Kardamena. The trace of a spilled Pepsi on a table and on the ground remained all stay. - Entertainment: almost non-existent. Really very very disappointed with our family stay at the Grand Blue in Kos. But we will come back for Kos and its really nice inhabitants in another hotel.

A great holiday destination with friendly and helpful staff. The view from the Panorama restaurant at breakfast, lunch and dinner is a fantastic way to spend any mealtime. The hotel is situated on a hillside and as our room was at the bottom of the hill and both all inclusive restaurants were at the top of the hill, it meant we had to burn some calories before we could indulge in the delicious variety of food that was on offer, but the uphill 3 minute walk was definitely worth it. Also for more elderly people who would maybe struggle with the hill, the hotel also has a pick up service with golf buggies which took people to the top, which is also handy for checking in and out with the luggage. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk away from the approximately 500m long pedestrian shopping zone with shops, supermarkets restaurants and pubs left and right and every product imaginable for locals and tourists. We would definitely stay here again.

It's a nice hotel, but it's not a 5-star one. The rooms are tidy and clean. They have three pools with different depths, and each pool has its own bar. You can enjoy various cocktails included in the all-inclusive package at the bar, along with canned soft drinks and beer. The beach at the hotel is not very good, and people don't use it much. Fortunately, there are better beaches nearby that you can easily reach on foot. The staff at the hotel are incredibly kind and friendly, and they all deserve five stars for their service. The breakfast was good, but the lunch and dinner were just okay.

Stayed at Grand Blue in september 2023 with my family. The rooms are spacious enough, with a balcony and seaview so it's quite an enjoyable stay. The rooms are regularly cleaned. Once, there was an issue with AC that the hotel solved immediatelly. Breakfast is good, there's plenty of different choices of food (savoury, sweet, fruit, coffee & juice), but nothing spectacular. The resort features 3 pool places, all equipped with deck chairs and sun umbrellas - we could always find a free spot, despite the hotel being full. There's some organized animation at the pool, usually starting at 4 pm in the afternoon, such as ping-pong tournament, darts, some guided water excercises and similar. There's a live evening programme at one of the pools, nearby our room, that goes on until about 11 pm. Can get quite loud, so if you're a light & early sleeper better it can be annoying I imagine. There's free wi-fi, but it's not working very well (very poor speed, constant disconnects), which is annoying if you need to do some basic work and they should work on improving this. Kardamaina is about 10 mins walking distance and the town is bustling, so it's worth a visit in the evening. Overall it's a very good resort-type establishment with everthing you need in the resort itself, so you can completely relax put your mind at ease for a few days.

highly recommended! great facility, great service & great location / view. it was always and everywhere clean. the food was nothing special, but always good and something for everyone. the staff is super friendly and attentive. The bartenders downstairs at the bar/stage in the evening were particularly great, as was the entertainer. Unfortunately, the end was at 0 o'clock at most, but that was completely ok. definitely had a great holiday and can definitely recommend the accommodation
