I recently enjoyed a fantastic five-day stay at this beautifully refurbished hotel with my three sisters. We booked two double rooms, but upon arrival, we were delighted to be upgraded. Even better, the rooms were connected by an internal door, making sharing belongings incredibly convenient. The hotel's modern decor and high-quality services created a luxurious atmosphere. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We took full advantage of both the indoor and outdoor pools, which were excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would gladly return. I'd also like to commend the hotel for their exceptional handling of a country-wide power outage during our visit. Thanks to their generator, we retained power, and they were even able to serve us dinner, unlike many other hotels in the area. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 minutes from the old town. We used Bolt for transport, which cost just €3-5 each way. Split between the four of us, this worked out to around £1 per person, making it a very affordable option.

We had an amazing stay at Kimpton Atlántico Algarve to celebrate my birthday. The hotel is excellent – our room was beautiful, spotless, and had a stunning beach view. The decor is elegant, the place is peaceful, and the healthy breakfast was delicious. The staff were lovely and attentive, and they surprised me with an early birthday treat and a beautiful letter from the manager – such a thoughtful gesture! We’re extremely satisfied and would definitely come back.

Ended our time in Portugal with a stay at the Kimpton Atlantico. We booked last minute so we had not done a lot of research about the hotel- but were thrilled that it had just opened 5 weeks or so ago. Everything was brand new, spotless, and in great condition! We were upgraded to a garden view room with a slight ocean view. (Room 264). This side of the hotel was absolutely peaceful & silent…. Highly recommend! Rooms were well laid out and comfortable. Patio door Screens would be an amazing addition as the bugs can be a little crazy if you want your door open for fresh air. The service from the front desk crew, concierge & managers was excellent. On arrival, we were gifted a beautifully presented dessert that was like a piece of art! Lucas was most helpful on multiple occasions showing us around and helping with luggage. When I asked the concierge if there was anything I could do for my husbands birthday, she was incredible and took care of it. Sent a beautiful cake and some bubbles for us to celebrate! It was so kind and delicious!! My only constructive, and I say this gently- As a brand new property- it feels like some kinks are still being worked out, especially in the food and beverage (service) & housekeeping area of things. Also seemed to be a little bit of chaos with mini bar daytime /evening turn down staff entering the room at random, etc. The hotel hadn’t received “do not disturb” signage as of yet so you’d get a knock and they’re entering quickly. This wasn’t the end of the world for us and we approached everyone with patience and kindness- understanding they’re all brand new staff. I’m sure as the weeks go on, things will only improve. Just seemed like many service staff seemed like “deer in the headlights” and weren’t quite sure what to do. Evening turn down service staff didn’t easily understand requests for extra towels etc. but we eventually got there with hand gestures and fingers up to indicate quantities 😜. Thank you to the amazing concierge and front desk staff for helping halt some of the random room entries for us…. I was sick with bronchitis and not always up to having people in the room at random. Food quality was excellent! We enjoyed our breakfasts each morning. Coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice both fantastic! Pool area- lots of seating and umbrellas. Never had an issue finding a great place to relax. Beach nearby…. Beautiful and peaceful especially at sunrise! Check it out! Overall, we’d happily return to this property. Thanks for a great stay!

Good food with good location, near the beach and sea, however the service is a doubt. Only few people can provide a good service and rest of them are either standing or walk around, even we are already waiting for the food or drink for 15mins. Or even provide a wrong food or a wrong bill for us to pay… The waiters need to be trained badly

Very nice hotel. Everything is super new fresh. Amazing staff. Housekeeping doing an excellent job. Lucas a wonderful member of the staff. Helped us with the luggage and car parking. On the day of my husband we received a small cake and a delicious bottle of bubbles. We were with 2 babies of 1 and 6 months. They had a children pool. Breakfast was lovely. Only sometimes service is very slow. Take some time before someone comes to your table to take order for the coffee and tea. Majority of the staff speaks english but a few of them only Portugese. Overall very good stay neat trendy luxurious. We had 2 times dinner at the Mares restaurant they can a bit improve the menu more Portugese local dishes like piripiri chicken and bacalhau.
