Very nice hotel with cozy atmosphere in a calm location. The rooms in the apartments are spacious, the kitchen is well equipped. The hotel staff is very friendly.

This is a review of the restaurant and surroundings. Have dined here several times in the last few years - lunch, dinner and even on Christmas Day. Always had a good experience, great atmosphere, service, food and drink.

Friendly staff and lovely location.
The hotel has good croquet facilities with two lawns and the Algarve weather allows playing all year round.

The stay at the Quinta dos Poetas Hotel starts well before arriving there. When driving to the hotel you can find the signs to get there well beforehand.
Checking in went smoothly and the very friendly staff provided extra information to make the stay more pleasant.
The room was comfortable and clean. It provided a small fridge and a safe. The bathroom was clean and foreseen with a more than complete set of towels.
The hotel is small (15 rooms) and has some apartments in a separate building in the garden. When walking through the garden we noticed how quiet it is. Although this place is fairly close to the airport we didn't hear any plane.
For hikers the hotel's location comes handy as two hiking trails in Pesao pass by the rear of the hotel. The maps of these and other trails are available at the reception.
The restaurant provides a fairly good choice for continental breakfast. We sometimes ate in the restaurant for dinner. The choice of dishes is good and the dishes we had were excellent.
Although the hotel is located inland most places can be easily reached.
We have put another stay at this hotel on our wish list.

Well run lovely cosy hotel. Very helpful friendly staff. Good value set menu. 20 euros for 3 courses. Breakfast is continental with eggs on requests. Lots of healthy refreshing fruit and pastries. Theres cold meats and cheeses, yoghurts and cereal. There is a ala carte menu with large plates costing from about 10 euros. I really enjoyed the goats cheese salad - so fresh. Stayed there 4 nights set menu didnt change. Tried out surrounding villages/restaurants. Liked being away from the hustle and hung out by the pool early morning and late afternoon. but nice to drop in to the pretty local town Olaho. Lots of activities and excursions available there.
