This hotel is a predominantly Polish. Almost everyone was Eastern European or Northwestern European.
I stayed in a 3 bed room on the restaurant side of the hotel, the room was well cleaned and presented but a little outdated and seriously lacked plug sockets, 2 in the bedroom 1 in bathroom. The overall quality of the room was adequate, firm but comfy beds and was fairly spacious but lacked in the fine details. There was some silcone around the shower and sink that was moldy and needed replacing and the ceiling in the bathroom had clearly been fitted quickly, several panels were bent or damaged.
The food was very tastey and the dishes changed daily, the staff in the restaurant were friendly and very helpful.
The pools were lovely and clean and the slides at one of them were a massive hit with me! The bar at both of them was well stocked and offered quick and friendly service.
The entertainment team provided amazing shows and activities, they changed day to day but the board that gave you a weekly rundown was wrong. Some of the days were mixed up and had a different days show advertised. But overall the entertainment was top notch.

Overall experience very mediocre. Especially due to poles screaming around and behaving very inappropriate. Food was cold sometimes, fried meals were done on the same oil, so nuggets tasted with fish. The rooms were not silenced properly, so i've been hearing my neighboors making a farting competition next to my hotel room door. 10 minutes to the beach is a truth, location is very good. Mattresses are terrible.

No vegetarian friedly hotel. outrageously poor choice for vegetarians. stay away from this hotel! Today only rice and cauliflower, even the spaghetti sauce was bolognese. Mercy. the hotel should be downgraded to 2 stars.
you can't keep up.

Arrived on the 17th April 2023 roughly 4am it took around 2 hours before we were taken to our rooms as one of the staff members got lost taking us up, down and around, got there in the end!
However not all was bad as they had many amazing shows and reception staff were lovely explaining the free shuttle service that takes you to the beach and alanya cable carts, to get to the grand bazaar you shouldn't pay anything more than 50liras!
You will get scammed with taxi prices so make sure to stand your ground!
Just wish we could have had a chance to play some table tennis it's really hard to get a hold of animation staff other than that I've enjoyed my time here and overall I'd give it a well deserved 4 out of 5stars

The only star which this hotel should holds is that in own name. I would not recommend this hotel and below you could find some details why:
1. Service: very slow, ignore you unless you are not from Turkey and then they treat you as a king or queen and barmans have racist jokes and hitting on every younger girl.
Almost every popular drinks like Mohito or Sex on The Beach of whatever will come in your mind is extra paid and more expensive that in bars into centre of Alanya.
2. Food: the worst experience I’ve ever had. Really! I expected barely minimum for price what they offer but during my holiday and I had to choose between being hungry or stomachache. During journey to Alanaya you observe a lot of banana plants or walking on promenada next to beach notice many fresh fruits and dozen of locals are prepared to do you fresh juice from that gifts of nature and you could think about most of them available in hotel Blue Star. But not! For 7 days which I spend in hotel they put only melons and apples on table. Nothing more.
The rest of…something what they offer to eat… was too fat, overcooked, mixed with random ingredients and spices.
What is surprising sometimes I noticed waiters with different food but this was only reserved for chiefs. And to be honest I’m not surprised that they don’t want to eat something what going out from his kitchen.
As if that wasn't enough the food court is not calculated for too many guests. To get something to eat you need to spend a lot of your time in long queues and be very lucky to find spot to eat. The only water you can drink comes from machine and even that run out after 1st meal.
3. Every night DJ Cabin play the same music every evening and so loud that if you need to check out very early or going to sight seeing with sunrise it will be drama to get a sleep.
Any advantages? Tasty coffee and tea which helps you after every eaten meal.
