Overpriced hotel for our family holiday do not book if you expect 4 star facilities
The price paid for our family holiday was for a 4* hotel, 3plus hotel of jet2/tui standards but all marketed as 4* but the quality and the facilities were less or around max 3 star or less 2* plus maybe.
As we had issues from first night from arrival.
We had been checked with a 3 y old in a room 10th a walking up a hill when we arrived at 01:00 with a toddler half asleep,
we had to pay for someone to take our suitcases at their golf cart buggy wasn’t available.
Struggling to find hotel room .
No details given at that time to none of the people in the group.
The toilet flusher didn’t work when we arrived.
This was fixed at 6PM next day when we returned from pool and we couldn’t use the facilities as the repair should have done earlier not at 6PM.
The fuse box and electricity would trip or stop at least 3-4-6 times between 5:30PM and 7PM.
The sheets have only been changed once for the whole durantion
Room hasn’t been cleaned or sweeped at all for the duration.
No mopping available for shower making shower difficult with a child as also wet and trips and slips
No shower curtain available
Ants in the room.
Rubbish left outside of the room
Electric cables left for children reach around the resort.
Food left on floor and caused me to trip i. front of the hotel staff who weren’t even bothered to clean.
Chicken from gyros day second day we arrived was servered uncooked.
Several people from our group had food poisoning or had to throw their gyros away.
We had a room set completely different to our other 3 rooms from the group.
Other guests asked for room changed and their got changed when we asked for us to be changed closer to our friends the manager told us to try again tomorrow even through we had a child and pram to push over the hill at least 3 times a day and back. The other guest that were moved from 400 rooms had a teenager child not a toddler and they were moved, discriminating.
The shuttle bus from reception to the 400 rooms only runs 3 times a day and last run is at 8:30pm never seen it working that time but also the kids disco is finished at 9:30 are we supposed to be closed to rooms …

Was sold this hotel as a 4* all inclusive, most definitely was not. The rooms were very basic and not very clean, the food was repetitive and quite bland. Staff here were not very friendly and looked unhappy. Up a hill and quite away from the town - not a walkable distance. Only good thing was the view

10 nights stay for us. Here’s what you need to know before coming to the Aegean view: This is more like a small village rather than a hotel, there are so many apartments and pools scattered about the place, if you have mobility problems, you may want to look elsewhere as the resort is on the side of a hill, so lots of steps and hills to navigate.
There’s an overall feel of “this could be so good” we found that lots of things need TLC, but this didn’t stop us from having a great time.
The food could be better, I found lots of the dishes to be a little salty for my taste, however there’s plenty to choose from, although there’s so many beautiful restaurants nearby that are so worth visiting.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful! I have noticed that not everyone got along well with the staff, but that seemed to be the guests problem and being rude to people who work very long hours and are just trying to do their best.
In short, if we could find a good deal on flights and say 5 nights at a decent price, we would definitely come back as the setting of this resort is wonderful.
If like us, you booked this hotel and looked at the poor reviews just before arriving and felt some regret, GIVE THE PLACE A CHANCE!
We had an amazing holiday if you’re happy to accept that a once extremely beautiful hotel now needs some doing up!

We checked in at this hotel early hours of the morning and was greeted by lovely staff!
Was quick and easy and there was food waiting for us as a snack after our travels.
After a long day of travelling the room was slightly disappointing as it was more dated than we were expecting! There was only one window to the front of the room which we didn't open the blinds to as then people would be able to see in there was also no balcony to our room! However this being said once we woke up in the morning the views from all 11 ish pools on the resort were enough to make up for this plus we figured the room is only for sleeping in! The food was amazing and the entertainment was good. Shuttle bus included was a real help as the hotel is a bit out of the way but there is also plenty of taxis round Kos town.
There were bars located all over the resort with ,again, lovely staff there to make you a cocktail for two throughout the day. The resort is massive but if you are located at the top of the hill there is also a golf buggy on duty ready to wip you around the resort to save your legs! Due to the location and the shuttle bus we found plenty of things to do down in the town such as a boat trip, jet skis and shopping trips and well as great food that was recommended to us by some locals. And to top it off we could then come back to a really nice shower and a lovely queen sized bed! We did find the cleaning staff coming at strange times though, for example our lady would come at 6 in the evening to ask if we wanted room service which is the time when everyone is getting ready for dinner which we just found inconvenient as we would have to get out the shower to answer the door if she hadn't of come in already that is! In my opinion cleaning the rooms should be finished by 5 at the latest! Overall the resort was really quiet but that could be due to us coming off peak time! We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to friends and family however if the rooms were just done up a little bit it would definitely be a 5 star resort!

All pools very clean. Food not bad, always something to eat … freshest salads ever and amazing baklava!
Buses to beach and Kos- returns up to 18:15 after that a taxi will cost around €10.
Booked a Pirate Ship Excursion through reception and its a must do day out.
Golf buggy on site to take you to and from the higher levels like the top pool with slides.
Excellent shower area for late departures.
Enjoyable evening entertainment
All in all an amazing holiday
