The hotel is spotlessly clean and all the staff we interacted with were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. On arriving at the buffet I was pleased to see they have labelled vegan options, although as the week went on some dishes seemed to be mislabelled as vegan and were in fact vegetarian and vice versa. The food on the whole was lovely and there was a good selection of salad items. There seemed to be more vegan options at lunch than at dinner and offering those options at dinnertime would be a nice option. The pool was lovely, as was the café and was pleased to have the option of soya milk to enjoy their coffees. The cafe was a lovely option to play cards and get a drink in the evening. The hotel is very close to the bus station and isn't far from the main square. We would stay here again.

Our stay at db San Antonio was absolutely amazing. The staff are incredible attentive and look after all the guests very well. We were on all-inclusive plus and highly recommend! All the extras you get are very worth it, including premium cocktails and drinks with branded spirits. The snacks the lay out are perfect and the breakfast amazing, with an incredibly kind chef who will cook you any eggs you ask for. This hotel was extremely clean as well, and always had endless sun beds. Highly recommend!

We visited as a couple having been guided by our travel agent that this hotel was ideal for a central location for exploring. The premises is just down the road from the local bus station, and has good links to all areas. The hotel is very clean and has good overall facilities with an indoor and outdoor pools, spa and gym. A main buffet style restaurant with a wide selection of foods, all with good flavours to suit all tastes. This was very busy at most times. There are also three separate restaurants that can be booked, if you are all inclusive you are allowed one visit per week without extra cost. We visited Tagine which was Indian Moroccan, great food and flavours. The room we were allocated was on the 9th floor, but the lifts are excellent, and our room had a lovely sea view. Always very clean and well serviced by our excellent attendant Baburam. Unlike some hotels where you are charged for water and tea/coffee, there’s was ample in the room, and water machines for filling bottles, as the water on the island from taps is described as unpottable. Entertainment in the evenings was very varied, we did enjoy one solo act who sang and played the Appalachian Lap Guitar, other than that, much of the entertainment wasn’t to our taste, and the bar was quite noisy. This a beautiful but very busy hotel, if you want a quieter and more intimate holiday it may not be for you, but the benefits of travel links, location and price for an early year getaway were good for us. All the staff were excellent, very warm and welcoming.

We recently stayed at the DB San Antonio Hotel and had a great experience! The highlight of our trip was the staff – every single member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The front of house team especially went above and beyond to make my husband's special birthday celebration unforgettable, and we are very grateful for their efforts. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a holiday in Malta. For adults travelling, I strongly suggest upgrading to All-Inclusive It was a real treat and added an extra level of relaxation and indulgence to our stay. Our family holiday at the dB San Antonio Hotel + Spa was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. A Stellar hotel with great service, truely worth its 4 stars. Upon being greeted at the front desk for the check-in i was given a complimentary glass of orange juice which was very welcoming. My room was nice and clean and every day there was room service to clean my room, i once even found that some clothes i left on the chair were folded and placed back on my bed which surprised me but it's a very nice gesture. As for food, i took the breakfast buffet once not long before it closed and it was sufficient for me, however i found that there werent any soft-boiled eggs or bacon, it could be that i didnt see it in a rush or it wasnt there. The hotel offers lots of drinking & dining options aswell as many great relaxation facilities! As a last note, i saw that there was some construction happening which brought me some concern but in the end it didnt bother me that much, the construction started and stopped at fair hours so i could still get some good sleep.

Had 7 days at this hotel in April 2025 and had a fabulous time. Arrived at reception to early to get in room, but Camillia booked us in and we were able to put or luggage into secured room. Our room was wonderful, beautiful sea view and was cleaned every day and coffee and tea topped up. We went half-board and wow the food was excellent, so much choice and was presented so well, buffet style, cooked to prefection and restaurant staff very attentive. Reception staff so friendly and always polite, would always acknowledge us as we passed by and would help us whenever they could. Was a little apprehensive when we were informed that there was building work and read some previous reviews before we went which sounded bad, but never bothered us at all, no early morning noise or banging and was not a building site like some reviews had said. We would go back to this hotel again it was brilliant.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, with a balcony offering a breathtaking view of the sea. Watching the sunset in the evening and the sunrise early in the morning was truly magical. The staff was friendly and very helpful — they assisted us in resolving an issue with the agency, which tried to deceive us by booking a standard room with a view of a wall, even though we had paid for a sea-view room. Thanks to the hotel staff, the situation was quickly resolved, and we enjoyed the stunning view we had initially chosen. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would definitely return!

Our stay at Preluna was all we could have wanted. We did 10 days there. Food was good and varied with a themed night every night. Pool side food was better than the lunch option in the hotel but I suspect that because we are still slightly out of season. All staff were very friendly. Special thanks to the assistant restaurant manager (sorry I didn't get your name but you were from Macedonia), you made our stay very welcoming indeed. The restaurant would not run as smoothly without you there. Keep up your ourltstanding service and best wishes.

Had the opportunity to stay at Preluna a couple of weeks ago. Besides the excellent location on the Sliema seafront, the hotel is clean, breakfast is delicious and the sea view rooms are simply fantastic. Staff were all very helpful but a special mention goes to Erika Rapinett at Front Office who went out of her way to see that our stay was a perfect one. David at breakfast also deserves a mention for the way he makes all guests feel at home. I would definitely recommend Preluna to anyone visiting Malta.

Incredibly pleased with the overall experience, the staff made my stay comfortable, the establishment has a number of restaurants, which make dining in truly convenient. The property has an indoor and outdoor pool but is also situated across a very nice beach. The rooms are spacious, their pillows are the absolute best! The amenities include a refrigerator which isn't stocked but do have toiletries, coffee and tea bar, a safe, laundry services, iron and board...extra large towels. The rooms also have balconies and the views are absolutely amazing! Recently joined their rewards program which adds perks to the experience making the stay extra special. The ladies and manager at the Bistro restaurant were very friendly certainly made returning again another unforgettable experience. Thank you Radisson Blue you have become the go to hotel of choice when traveling. You are rapidly becoming my home away from home and i certainly recommend you!

We enjoyed our stay in the Radisson Blu hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Our kids were given an upgrade to a seaview room, and also our daughter got a complimentary cake delivered to her room on her birthday, which was a really nice touch. The only complaint I would have about the hotel would be that both the outdoor pool and the spa pool were in need of a good clean. The other issue we had was more with the location than the hotel itself - the hotel is very close to the new hard rock hotel development so we had to walk through a very busy and dusty building site in to get to the local bars and attractions.

**A Wonderful Stay for Our 25th Anniversary 🎉** We spent 4 nights at the Radisson Blu St. Julian’s to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and we’re so glad we chose this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made our stay feel extra special. Prior to arrival, my husband emailed to mention the occasion and requested a room with a nice sea view. We were delighted to be allocated a room on the 5th floor with a stunning, uninterrupted view of the north-west coast. As a lovely and thoughtful gesture, the bed was beautifully decorated with towel swans and rose petals, and a bottle of rosé wine was waiting for us. Such a sweet surprise! The room itself was large, clean and serviced daily. The beds were huge and incredibly comfortable, and we loved the different lighting options available, which gave the room a cozy, customizable ambiance. We arrived late on our first night (around 9:45 PM) and ordered room service. The service was prompt and the food was delicious – exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. The buffet offered an impressive variety: continental, full English, a cereal station, freshly cooked eggs (omelettes, poached, fried), and plenty of options for those who are lactose or gluten intolerant. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, friendly, and helpful. A special thank you to **Dileep at Le Bistro**, who went above and beyond to accommodate my dietry requirements. He consulted with the chef to adjust dishes so I could enjoy them without any worries – truly appreciated! We’d also like to give a shoutout to **Lil at the Concierge desk**. On our first day, he gave us excellent suggestions for things to see in Valletta. On our last day, he kindly looked after our luggage after checkout and kept an eye out for our airport pickup. He was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. --- **A Few Minor Points:** While our overall experience was wonderful, there are a couple of small areas for improvement: - The **half-board dinner menu** could benefit from at least one dairy-free dessert option other than fruit platter at both Le Bistro and the Kontiki buffet. - The **bedroom floor** looked a bit worn and scratched, which gave it a slightly tired appearance. - There were **no plug sockets near the bedside tables**, which was slightly inconvenient. --- Despite these minor things, we had a **fabulous stay** and would not hesitate to return. The hospitality and attention to detail truly made our anniversary trip memorable. Thank you to all the amazing staff at Radisson Blu St. Julian’s!

We have been here for 6 days. First 3 days were great, last 3 days have been awful. There is an extremely large wedding party here, it is impossible to get a drink anywhere the service is diminished due to the wedding, breakfast and all restaurants are crowded we cannot get a drink around the pool, the wedding party has taken over every amenity the hotel has to offer. I am currently looking for early flights home as I cannot sleep due to the excessive noise caused by the wedding , I have young children who cannot sleep due to noise pollution and spend all day to tired to have the fun and enjoyment a holiday should bring, One lift is faulty my 8 year old got trapped in this alone as the doors shut suddenly as all 4 of us tried to exit the lift there was a fault and she was taken from us causing a severe level of anxiety - the lift doors would not open I manually couldn’t prize them open with my hands my child was taken from level 5 down to level 1 which is where the beach and the general public are, this has been traumatic for her, no apologies from staff. The bathroom door in the “suite” broke while my wife was in the shower she was locked in our bathroom for 1 hour - this is a serious fire hazard and caused great distress for my wife . It could only be opened from outside and my children and I were on the balcony and unable to here her screams for help, this was reported and fixed immediately however no apologies were offered it was just a case of “thanks for letting us know we will sort it” this was disgraceful We are on our honeymoon!!!, the hotel know this as I paid for balloons and room decoration in advance, yet this special occasion has not been acknowledged by a single member of staff, meanwhile a new friend ( made here ) has received a cake for theire 60th birthday which is great for them but feels like we should have had similar gestures, We had a faulty “safe” in our room on arrival and for the first 2 days and I had to carry around all spending money, valuables and passports at all times, until this could be resolved. I couldn’t be more disappointed this is allegedly a 5 star hotel, and out of my usual price range but I made an exception for my honeymoon and could not be more disappointed - 3 stars at best, 5 star prices. There is one restaurant to eat in based on our “full board” and no children’s food or child’s buffet, as they’re are no kids here so then cannot justify catering for my two.!! Mine will not eat anything on offer . The kids like the indoor pool and that’s about it. I think the food is good actually amazing for adults. It’s difficult to get a drink and then almost impossible to get the bill so you cannot leave the bar or restaurant - there is no awareness from the drinks staff, the first 3 days was not like this… Panos is by far the exception to the rule his service and management is exceptional, we cannot get a drink at the pool bar during the day or in the the flavours restaurant most nights we have finished our meals before anyone has been to take our drinks order. The Italian is good service but we are only able to eat our lunch there, as all evening meals must be taken at flavours buffet which was not clear at the time of booking. The room is clean The outdoor pool is redundant due to the temperature of the water The indoor pool is fantastic Ankit at reception was helpful after 3-4 members of staff could not explain how the full board scenario that we booked , even works, I gave up it was both frustrating and time consuming on the first few days of the holiday to try and work out how and where we was allowed to eat If there is a flight to Manchester tomorrow we will be on the plane I am happy to leave 3 days earlier than we have paid for!! Good luck to the couple getting married I congratulate you, no expense has been spared for they’re special occasion ; however the hotel should have notified other guests aka second class guests, that we would become less important and our service levels would drop for us due too such an extravagant event spanning across 4 days!

Simply amazing and you can tell by the genuine customer friendliness and happiness of the staff. The service was beyond any expectation and it was pure delight to be greeted by Henry every morning at breakfast! We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was clean, well equiped and very spacious. All of the facilities are just amazing, with towel services both at the beach below and the indoor and outdoor pools. Special mention to the Luca, Sophia and the rest of the Kid's club team. They provide an extensive and diverse range of activiities which kept our kids entertained. We will defintely be returning!

We stayed here during the Easter holidays. The staff at this hotel were amazing, they were extremely kind and honestly are the face of this hotel. The food was delicious and we did not run into any particular issues with it. I will note that if you are a vegetarian/ vegan there isn't a great variety of hot food during breakfast, mainly cereals and fruits. When booking the hotel, it is advertised as a 5 star hotel and resort, therefore the pricing reflects this etc. I was quite surprised when I got there as I have previously been to 5 star resorts and this did not compare. The service in this place by the staff is probably the 5 stars that is advertised as otherwise the building, rooms and amenities are quite dated and need a refresh or even refurbishment. I would at best if looking at the hotel itself place it a 3 star resort. We were in the twilight towers facing the countryside which was lovely, however I feel that again the Radisson should also mention that overlooking this there is a campsite which was very active. ( It did not bother us as we barely spent any time in the room). Overall the stay was great, just a slight let down by the hotel itself as it gained it's 5 stars in 2005/2008 and should really be re-evaluated, especially for the cost of it. Again hats off to the staff they are amazing that is why I am leaving a 4/5.

The hotel is great. The rooms are clean. But the location is terrible. You’re 30 minutes away by car from anything interesting. This would be good for a resort with more activities, restaurants and such. But this hotel has 4 restaurants that are just ok. There is exactly two restaurants in the 5km radius around this hotel. I enjoyed the stay but I was quite bored. Granted, we were unlucky with the weather so we couldn’t swim. If the weather is nice, and you just want to spend time reading on the pool/beach, you’ll enjoy this.

The hotel is located above a beautiful bay, and it was wonderful to hear the waves crashing against the rocks on windier days. All of the staff were engaging and lovely, from the team working at breakfast, those working in the bar, the cleaners, and management made us and others feel very welcome. We had a superior room which overlooked the pools and beaches which was lovely. Parking is €3 a day when taking your car out. Although not a lot, and I do understand having to control non residents from parking on site, it feels odd to charge your own residents as they could easily give out the parking pass free of charge. We found the breakfasts to always be fresh and of high quality. We visited Essence of India twice and the food was delicious both times. I did a visit to the spa and the massage and facial were perfect. Thanks Alexandra! For a number of days we had a smoker next door to us, and found out that smoking on the balconies is allowed. Unfortunately it meant that we had the smell of smoke in our room. I asked the man if he’d smoke at the other end of the long balcony he had, but he just continued. This was a shame as while they were next to us, we didn’t open our door to the balcony. The location of the hotel is great and easy access to the port to visit Gozo as well as other beautiful parts of the island. If you don’t have a car there are plenty of bus routes as well which I’ve heard are good.

All the staff at the hotel are incredibly kind and welcoming. The service is exceptionally fast and precise. There are several pools, each offering an environment suitable for all age groups. I’ll never forget the beer and pizza by the pool—it was unforgettable. The hospitality shown by the hotel truly touched me and my family. Our room was very spacious, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Every member of the staff listens and empathizes with their guests. I sincerely hope to return before I die.

Spectacular hotel in a stunning location overlooking the Mediterranean. We paid for an Executive Sea View room on the 9th floor which was peaceful and quiet and meant that we could sleep with the patio door open instead of using the air conditioning. The room was spacious and modern with very comfortable bedding and pillows which ensured a good nights sleep. The hotel grounds were immaculate with a huge swimming pool area and plenty of sun loungers. I would say that this is nice work environment because all of the staff were so helpful and always had a smile on there face - special mention to the waiting ladies at breakfast and the staff in the Executive Lounge who always worked hard to ensure that the food and wine kept flowing. We felt that St Julian's Bay was great base from which to explore Malta and I recommend downloading the Bolt Taxi app. Finally, we love our food and the area surrounding the hotel offered a diverse selection of top quality restaurants offering cuisine from all corners of the world. Prices pretty similar to the UK but very very good. We would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

The was our first visit to the hotel. The facilities could not be faulted from the inviting entrance and reception area to the bars and restaurants, the outdoor areas and the room. We were particularly impressed with the executive lounge which provide an excellent food and beverage service throughout the day. But by far the best thing about the hotel are the staff. Everyone we dealt with was polite, friendly and totally efficient often going over and above what we expected of them. Well done to everyone involved in making this hotel so inviting and pleasant to stay in, it made our holiday

It's a truly beautiful hotel. The service is exceptionally friendly. The staff always greet you with a smile, which made us feel very welcome. The location is fantastic, right by the sea, offering stunning views and easy access to the water. The pool is heated during the colder months, which is a great touch. However, I highly recommend taking a dip in the sea during spring, it’s incredibly refreshing and adds a special touch to the experience. Overall, we felt very comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay.

The Westin in Malta is an absolutely beautiful property—elegant, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. We stayed in their newest wing, which was gorgeous: modern, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. Lives up to its reputation! Nicest staff, coziest bed, super clean and an overall excellent value! We loved our stay!! By far our most favorite place we’ve stayed! The hotel is very clean and current and didn’t have any obvious issues (cracks, mildew, etc) that you can often see even at high end hotels. You can tell they rejected good care of everything. The staff is truly the kindest we’ve ever ver experienced. They always had a smile on their faces, were quick to ask for help if they saw us looking around for things. It really makes a difference! And finally, the bed. Omg!! Coziest bed ever and I’ll be dreaming of the pillow and comforter. It’s an excellent value for the money. Oh and food on property (room service, bar and poolside food) was excellent!

Gorgeous hotel! Staff were so polite, friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic! Can't fault the place. We stayed in November 2024. Pool side just great. There was also a Pianist in the evening, both were fabulous. The Operation Manager Ahmed who was from Egypt and the Security Manager both really lovely guys and funny too! There are also a couple of restaurants to the side of the hotel that are on the complex and they were just great, food great and the staff adorable. Views from our rooms were beautiful. There is also a well equipped gym. I took the advice from Ahmed to eat like a king in the morning, and I followed that advice throughout the day! Hence my clothes were a little tighter when I arrived home!!!

We stayed at AX The Palace Hotel in Malta for four nights and honestly had a great experience. The location is perfect, the restaurant was really good, and the staff were super friendly, polite and always happy to help. Our room was spacious, which was ideal for the three of us — especially with our 17-year-old son. The beds were large, super comfy, and the room was kept spotless thanks to the excellent daily housekeeping. The rooftop pool was a real highlight — a great spot to relax and enjoy the view. That said, there were just a couple of things that could definitely be improved. The Wi-Fi was pretty terrible — so bad that we ended up using mobile data most of the time. Also, the pool towels had quite a bad smell, which was a bit disappointing. Apart from these small issues, everything else was spot on, and we really enjoyed our stay. If they sort out the Wi-Fi and the towels, this hotel would be hard to beat!

Really nice hotel in the heart of Sliema - Got a fantastic deal for 5 nights so we couldn't say no. Room was beautiful with a free upgrade included and had everything that was needed. Staff is what made this place shine to us, service was phenomenal and most are really engaging and would spark conversation. Shout out specifically to the guys in the Talk of the Town Cafe. Breakfast is varied and tasty but nothing to write home about - Still couldn't fault it. Temptasian Restaurant was quite good although found service not to be as efficient compared to the rest of the hotel. Location can be an issue if you want the best of Malta at your door and would probably recommend a stay in Valetta specifically for that. However, in terms of a place to chill out and have some phenomenal restaurants and fantastic views close by - this is the place to be. Would absolutely come back.

Excellent location in Sliema. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The bed was comfortable and huge! (two doubles put together). All facilities were very clean. We enjoyed our stay but have not given full 5 stars as our air con didn’t work properly so the room was often too warm. Also the indoor poor is advertised in the welcome brochure/website as being open until 9pm, but when we visited at 8pm it was closed. We did enjoy the indoor pool on a different day though and the facilities with sauna and steam room were lovely.

It says 5* for a reason. Just spent 7 nights here and had the time of our lives. Nothing and I mean nothing is too much trouble. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast although busy at times was delicious and varied. The pool, steam room and sauna were an added benefit we loved too. Rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. One small mechanical problem was solved in minutes and house keeping turned to clean straight after. Faultless! We would definitely recommend a stay here and would return again. Thank you to all the staff.

The housekeeping team did an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness and comfort throughout our visit. Whether at the reception, restaurant, or spa, we always felt well taken care of. Speaking of the restaurant, the dining experience was exquisite! The food was fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully. The breakfast selection was varied and catered to all tastes, providing a great start to each day. The hotel’s location is also ideal, offering easy access to key attractions, shopping areas, and public transport. Plus, the facilities, including the rooftop pool and spa, added an extra layer of relaxation to our stay. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our time at AX Palace Malta. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-tier experience in Malta. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Overall this hotel is good but I would not say it was 5 star. The location is excellent but the rooms and decor are somewhat dated. Some staff were amazing but some were less than helpful and not of the calibre one would expect in a quality hotel. Although generally quiet there were disturbances from weddings taking place.

This hotel boasts an excellent location for exploring Valletta; however, the service unfortunately does not consistently meet the standards expected of a 5-star establishment. While the staff are generally pleasant, the service is frequently slow and can, at times, feel neglectful. Guests may experience periods of being overlooked. Breakfast presents a somewhat chaotic atmosphere, though the omelettes prepared at the two egg stations are commendable. The remainder of the buffet offers an adequate selection. However, getting a cup of coffee can be a challenge as staff appear to not be doing very much at all. Bar service is notably sluggish. While this may be attributed to a significant number of new staff members, it is an issue requiring attention. Tables are often left uncleared, and guests may find it more efficient to order drinks directly at the bar. Food available at the bar was tasty and well presented although again actually ordering is a challenge. Check out was disappointing with items charged to our room that we had not charged. Whilst they were removed promptly it was clear from the signatures they were for other people.

Beautiful hotel situated in a really good place to explore Valletta. Staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The lady that did our room every day did a fantastic job and she was so lovely. Po area was great, all the facilities here were second to none. Definitely reccomend a stay here if you are visiting Valletta.

Great reception on arrival including a refreshment. Speedy check in and old fashioned but very grand interior. Concierge service also available. Very good sized rooms and includes everything you could need, some may consider dated but fits with the theme of the hotel. Buffet style breakfast available. Some areas of the hotel like the pool bars not up and running as we have come out of season. The location is excellent, a mere 5-10 minute walk to the gate of Valletta, leading to the centre. Overall would recommend it, very pleasant stay.

It's a great hotel, nice atmosphere, facilities and buffet! The service was a mixed experience. The best was the reception, but calling for something either takes forever or it doesn't happen. The breakfast can get busy and you can lose your table immediately while going for the buffet!
