Just come home from a long weekend we have had a fantastic stay. We had a comfort room and the bed was huge. Cleaned daily and as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary there were a few little gifts left. Each night we would come back and our bedroom curtains had been drawn and chocolates on our pillows ( nice little touch).
Hotel facilities were fab the infinity pool was perfect after soaking up the sunshine. The location is good with only a short walk to the beach and sliema front . Staff were all friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was nice with a good selection as well as cooked breakfast. Pool bar food was lovely and so were the cocktails. The overall general cleanliness was great. We will definitely be returning again

Our stay at AX The Palace Hotel was absolutely fabulous! We were greeted with a glass of prosecco on arrival—very unexpected—and also received some delightful local sweets. The staff were incredibly attentive, hardworking, and nothing was ever too much for them.
Everything ran like clockwork, and the team always had a smile on their face. They were very professional and genuinely caring, making us feel so well looked after throughout our visit. Chocolates were even left on our pillows each day, which was such a lovely touch. The food was 100 out of 10—absolutely delicious, with something there for everyone. What a brilliant idea to include unlimited soft drinks and any alcoholic drink in the price of dinner! It made dining so relaxing and indulgent, allowing us to enjoy whatever we wanted without worrying about the cost. Such a thoughtful touch really enhanced the whole experience. The twice-daily room service made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. We truly felt pampered and valued as guests. Highly recommended!

We had a great week here! From the moment we walked into the lobby and had that welcoming air con blast (33 degrees outside..) and saw the friendly, polite, and helpful staff at reception who booked us in, through till the end.
The room (comfort) was spacious, clean, and well stocked for our stay and regularly cleaned and filtered water restocked for our return each day.
The breakfast buffet was really good, with changing items through the week, and a good range of food and drinks. The watermelon, berry and cranberry juice was lush!
We used the rooftop pool numerous times and loved it, managing to enjoy plenty of quality relaxing time up there, often whilst enjoying a cocktail. Or two...
The food in the Med Asia restaurant was excellent, and we agreed some of the best food we have tasted. Again, with top service.
The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and polite, from the cleaners and housekeepers, reception, and restaurant staff, all were a credit to the hotel and the management. Thank you.

From the moment we arrived at AX The Palace Hotel, we knew our stay was going to be something truly special. The check-in process was incredibly smooth and we were warmly welcomed with refreshing drinks. I would like to especially commend the lovely Asian lady at reception (possibly Nepali), who assisted us. Although I regret not remembering her name, I will never forget her professionalism, friendliness, and genuine kindness. She made us feel instantly at home.
Our room exceeded all expectations—it was immaculate, very spacious, and thoughtfully designed with complete amenities. To our delight, we were upgraded to a higher floor with a stunning view, which truly elevated our experience. Every detail was taken care of, ensuring both comfort and elegance.
A heartfelt thank you to Irene, the Filipino housekeeping superior, whose warmth, hospitality, and attentiveness left a lasting impression. She always greeted us with a smile, checked in to ensure we were comfortable, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The housekeeping team deserves special recognition for their meticulous work, especially during turndown service.
One of the most touching gestures was when my friend celebrated her birthday during our stay. The hotel staff surprised us with a beautifully arranged towel and balloon set-up, accompanied by a complimentary bottle of wine. This thoughtful detail turned an already memorable trip into something truly unforgettable. On top of that, we were also treated to complimentary cocktails, another testament to the hotel’s unmatched hospitality.
At the Rooftop, the service was equally impressive. A warm thank you goes to Chayngba and the entire team, who welcomed us with genuine warmth and attentiveness. They immediately recognized that we were in-house guests, which made us feel valued and appreciated. After our dinner, they surprised us once more by offering digestive drinks, a small but thoughtful gesture that reflects the hotel’s exceptional service culture.
Breakfast each morning was a feast in itself. The spread was absolutely fantastic, with a wide variety of choices to suit every palate—fresh salads, continental selections, vibrant fruit displays, and an irresistible range of pastries. Each dish was of the highest quality, making breakfast something we eagerly looked forward to every day.
From beginning to end, every aspect of our stay was flawless. What truly stood out, beyond the luxurious facilities and delicious food, was the warmth, care, and genuine hospitality of the staff. They did not just provide a service—they created an experience that made us feel truly special.
This was without a doubt one of the warmest, most memorable hotel stays we have ever had. Kudos to all the staff at AX The Palace Hotel—you truly embody what five-star hospitality should be. We cannot wait to return and experience your world-class service once again.

We went for a day by the pool. Took the buffet breakfast in the morning. Wide selection of items. Really good food and service.
We then headed to the rooftop pool. Unfortunately, not a lot of shaded deckchairs near the pool. The pool itself is not that big but it was very nice, enjoyable and clean.
The bar next to the pool offers a waited service even for deckchairs. The food was really good and the service was good as well.
