If you are looking for a friendly resort in the centre of Hurghada with a great beach and wonderful staff, Regina Resort & Aqua Park is a fantastic choice.
We had a wonderful stay at Regina Resort & Aqua Park in Hurghada and felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived.
The staff here really make the place special. A big thank you to Sabrina from the entertainment team, who always brought great energy and smiles, and Banana from the hospitality team, who was especially kind and attentive throughout our stay. Small gestures like that make a holiday feel extra memorable.
The housekeeping team, café staff, bar staff and hospitality staff were all very friendly and hardworking. Everywhere around the resort we were greeted with warmth and kindness, which creates such a relaxed holiday atmosphere.
We stayed in one of the bungalows, which we absolutely loved. The resort has a lovely ambience with beautiful gardens and a nice beach area where you can easily relax during the day.
One of the biggest advantages of Regina Resort Hurghada is its perfect location right in the city centre. You can easily walk to Sheraton Road, the marina, shops, cafés and restaurants, which makes exploring Hurghada very convenient while still enjoying the comfort of the resort.
Overall we had a truly lovely holiday at Regina Resort & Aqua Park. We were genuinely sad to leave but hope to return again in the future.

This nice hotel has many plusses, but unfortunately a few points to improve.
Among the nice things; you are in the busy centre, walking distance from moskee and marina. In the hotel you don’t notice the noise. The garden is beautiful, the personnel is very friendly, the breakfast buffet is extensive, the dinner buffet for me was much better than expected after reading bad comments (pasta sauce cooked fresh, grill with daily specialty, pizza baker) and thecrew arranged what you ask them. Spacious rooms and good beds. On the beach you can choose between the busy animated one or the more remote chill ones at the sides with good snorkelling opportunities.
I love the way they keep the hotel cat friendly! Fun attraction.
I spent 5 nights here, at arrival they pushed me for an upgrade (instead of bungalow) to the buildings near the beach. My mind was set on the bungalows, but seaview is not bad, so accepted.
The bathrooms are for me not up to standard; in both rooms i had mould, bad finishing (cement and silicone in big amount) and not super cleaned. The wellness is a private organisation, who pushed to sell something double price as the hammam’s closeby. The fitness room is not so inviting and hidden in the wellness.
As a summary, a makeover would help, but you get a lot of value for the limited amount of money.

Stayed from 24/12/25-07/01/26, overall absolutely amazing experience!
Rooms very clean and always kept clean. Cleaner made things such as animals etc with towels and bed sheets and the kids absolutely loved it- so did we!!
The food was really good of different variety and very wide range for different nationalities. The entertainment was great from morning till night always something going on! Location is very central so loads going on outside of the hotel also!

The staff- every single one of them was amazing! From the management to cleaners.
The pool bar/snack bar- Hesham, the manager, was absolutely amazing! Nothing to big or too small! Always went out of the way to get us drinks and make sure we was ok and having a good time! He is our Brother now, we would come back personally just for him!
The pool bar staff was all amazing! Had fun with the kids an made everything such a good fun atmosphere! The snack bar staff was also amazing always going above and beyond!
Definitely use the booking for the restaurants for the chinese food as the food was honestly amazing!!
Also the mixed grills at dinner time for €15 ! It fed 4 of us! Haha
We will definitely return! We have had the best holiday mainly down to the staff!! Forever in our heart now, family❤️

Please for your own sake only book superior rooms and tip.
Staff are kind and respectful. Garden Grounds are beautiful. Shout out to the weekday manager daytime - I believe his name is Muhammad - so kind and helpful and also thankyou to the cafe staff and porters and chefs.
Food is tasty but may make you ill so prepare with probiotics.
Area is in main tourist strip of shops so you will be constantly harassed by sellers and taxi drivers which ruined the trip for me. Locals area is mainly coptic Christians and very run down.
Al dahar bazar is ok not that interesting.
You will be overcharged and if you barter they do get angry and aggressive on sheraton st especially.
I didnt find Sherry st interesting.
Local area is down the backroads and alleys that was pretty cool, mainly cafes shops and where the locals hang - past metro mart.
Gomla supermarket is your friend and spinneys at senzo mall.
Please feed the stray animals there was a tiny kitten by the hotel front entrance that looked starving.
Respect to egyptian people esp the women are very nice, just a shame about some and the sellers. Thankyou again staff at Regina and day manager for all your smiles and help.
