If you are looking for a friendly resort in the centre of Hurghada with a great beach and wonderful staff, Regina Resort & Aqua Park is a fantastic choice.
We had a wonderful stay at Regina Resort & Aqua Park in Hurghada and felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived.
The staff here really make the place special. A big thank you to Sabrina from the entertainment team, who always brought great energy and smiles, and Banana from the hospitality team, who was especially kind and attentive throughout our stay. Small gestures like that make a holiday feel extra memorable.
The housekeeping team, café staff, bar staff and hospitality staff were all very friendly and hardworking. Everywhere around the resort we were greeted with warmth and kindness, which creates such a relaxed holiday atmosphere.
We stayed in one of the bungalows, which we absolutely loved. The resort has a lovely ambience with beautiful gardens and a nice beach area where you can easily relax during the day.
One of the biggest advantages of Regina Resort Hurghada is its perfect location right in the city centre. You can easily walk to Sheraton Road, the marina, shops, cafés and restaurants, which makes exploring Hurghada very convenient while still enjoying the comfort of the resort.
Overall we had a truly lovely holiday at Regina Resort & Aqua Park. We were genuinely sad to leave but hope to return again in the future.

We spent a 7-night stay at this resort. Although the complex has potential, the management and attention to detail leave a lot to be desired.
Cons (Areas for Improvement):
Rooms and cleanliness: Initially, we were given a room in a building that was under construction, where cleanliness was lacking. After a lot of insistence, we were moved to another room. The new room was clean, but much smaller, with older furniture and a less equipped bathroom.
Unfulfilled promises from management: When we changed rooms, the manager promised us a fruit basket, extra bottled water, and free access to the à la carte restaurants. Unfortunately, none of these promises were fulfilled.
Food and restaurant: The menu is very repetitive (every day: rice, beef with sauce, sautéed vegetables, okra, pasta). At the Italian à la carte restaurant, there is no actual menu, only a standard selection of 1–2 dishes. Also, the ventilation system is poor, and the smell of food strongly sticks to your clothes.
General services: Only one 600 ml bottle of water per person per day is provided, which is insufficient even for personal hygiene (such as brushing teeth). The beach/pool sunbeds are not cleaned. Another unpleasant aspect was the personal hygiene of some staff members.
Pros (Positive Aspects):
Staff: In general, the people are friendly.
Excursions: I highly recommend Rahim if you want to organize beautiful sea excursions.
Natural surroundings: The resort’s green areas are beautiful, very well maintained, full of flowers, vegetation, and birds.
Conclusion: A resort with beautiful natural surroundings, but one that loses a lot of its quality because of the services and management.

This nice hotel has many plusses, but unfortunately a few points to improve.
Among the nice things; you are in the busy centre, walking distance from moskee and marina. In the hotel you don’t notice the noise. The garden is beautiful, the personnel is very friendly, the breakfast buffet is extensive, the dinner buffet for me was much better than expected after reading bad comments (pasta sauce cooked fresh, grill with daily specialty, pizza baker) and thecrew arranged what you ask them. Spacious rooms and good beds. On the beach you can choose between the busy animated one or the more remote chill ones at the sides with good snorkelling opportunities.
I love the way they keep the hotel cat friendly! Fun attraction.
I spent 5 nights here, at arrival they pushed me for an upgrade (instead of bungalow) to the buildings near the beach. My mind was set on the bungalows, but seaview is not bad, so accepted.
The bathrooms are for me not up to standard; in both rooms i had mould, bad finishing (cement and silicone in big amount) and not super cleaned. The wellness is a private organisation, who pushed to sell something double price as the hammam’s closeby. The fitness room is not so inviting and hidden in the wellness.
As a summary, a makeover would help, but you get a lot of value for the limited amount of money.

Regina Resort
My stay with regina has been amazing because of mr said/ahmed. From the start of the stay to the end of the trip, mr ahmed was always there to assist us on any queries. Mr Ahmed was always ready to help us and treated us like his family. The tall man that also takes the luggages to the room has also been very patient and helpful with us. One of the servers in the buffet called noby has also been friendly and helpful everytime we were there for dinner. Honestly the whole hotel staff felt like my own family and friends even in just a short stay i felt that we were welcomed in the nicest ways possible. Even when i was leaving, mts transfer drivers have accidentally left my luggage outside of the hotel but the security guards and other staff were very vigilant and aware and helped resolve the situation. Because the hotel staff handled the situation well, i am very very thankful. Thank you so much regina. We will be back.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Regina overall.
The territory of the hotel is truly beautiful — you can see how much care goes into maintaining it. The blooming garden is especially impressive and creates a very relaxing атмосhere.
At first, we were placed in a bungalow, but it felt quite dark and not very comfortable. Later, we stayed in a Regal Sea View room, which we absolutely loved — the view was stunning and made a big difference to our experience.
The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The reception team was always responsive and quick to assist with any requests.
One small issue we encountered was with the key cards — they tend to get demagnetized easily, especially if kept near a phone, so we had to go to reception several times to replace them.
I would also like to especially praise the food — it was excellent. You can really tell that the kitchen team puts in a lot of effort. Compliments to the chef🤘🏼
There are a few areas that could use improvement. Some of the rooms feel a bit worn — for example, the shower in our Regal room was quite tired and could use renovation. However, the sea view definitely made up for it.
Another concern was the beach staff offering spa services, photography, and boat trips nonstop🗿
Unfortunately, they often ignored the red flag system and continued approaching us, which became quite tiring. It would be great if this policy were respected more, as guests come to relax and spend quiet time with their families.
Also highly recommend visit Asian restaurant here, better than Italian 🤍
Overall, we had a very positive experience and enjoyed our stay
