Our stay at the hotel was simply amazing! From the moment we arrived, my wife and I were warmly welcomed by the staff – a special thank you goes to Mr. Abdallah, who was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our entire stay.
The hotel itself is beautifully designed, very well maintained, and offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed to feel completely comfortable.
The food was absolutely perfect – fresh, delicious, and full of variety. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every meal was a delight. The staff also made every effort to accommodate personal preferences and special requests, which we truly appreciated.
What impressed us most was the exceptional service. Every single team member was friendly, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making guests feel welcome. You can really tell that the staff here love what they do.
For my wife and me, this wasn’t just a vacation – it was a true escape from everyday life. We both left feeling deeply refreshed and grateful for such a wonderful experience.
Conclusion: A beautiful hotel, outstanding food, perfect rooms, and top-notch service – we wholeheartedly recommend it and can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at this hotel in April — everything was just great! The room was clean, spacious, with a beautiful view and daily cleaning. The hotel location is very convenient: the beach and shops are nearby. The staff is polite, attentive and always ready to help — we felt very comfortable and caring. I would especially like to note the food: the food is varied, fresh, tasty — something new every day. The vacation was 100% a success, we will definitely come back again!

We had a pleasant stay at Mercure Hurghada, with friendly service and a great location. Saif at reception was especially helpful and welcoming. The animation team kept the energy high with fun activities throughout the day.
That said, the rooms could use some renovation, and the buffet variety wasn’t as broad as expected. Also, it was frustrating to see guests reserving beach spots early despite signs saying it’s not allowed.
Still, overall it was a good experience and we’d consider coming back.

I’m currently halfway through a 3-week stay at Mercure Hurghada – my third time at this hotel – and while there are some positive aspects, recurring problems continue to disappoint.
The resort grounds are attractive and the staff is genuinely friendly. The beach area is a bit cramped, but manageable. The animation program appears well-organized, though I don't take part in it myself.
However, food hygiene is a serious concern. I strongly advise against eating fresh vegetables like tomatoes or cucumbers, and definitely avoid any minced meat – based on repeated bad experiences. Last year, nearly all surfers staying here experienced diarrhea, and this year one girl has already had the same issue.
My room is comfortable, but the fridge was so loud I had to turn it off. I reported it to the front desk, but nothing was done. Even more frustrating is the occasional strong sewage smell in the room. I reported this as well, with no follow-up. My room also has a connecting door to the next room, which means I hear every noise from the neighbors.
Overall, despite the friendly atmosphere, Mercure Hurghada remains one of the weaker hotels I’ve stayed at in Egypt. It needs significant improvement in food safety and basic room maintenance.

Unfortunately, my initial complaint at the reception wasn't addressed. However, after sharing my experience in an online review, the hotel responded promptly and kindly offered me a different room. The staff made a great effort to make up for the inconvenience, and I truly appreciate their commitment and hospitality. Thank you very much for that.

Some things are good but overall I don't recommend at all. Food is good, i liked the variety except desserts. beach is nice but you have to compete against others early in the morning to find a single empty sunbed to chill. Definitely not that welcoming for young adults, whole vibe was more for old european tourists and kids. The whole music operation is awful and quite tasteless. Alcohol tasted horrible, cocktails were really undrinkable. Only beer was ok. Rooms were nice and clean, cleaning staff was lovely and always smiling. Animation staff and waiters was also were nice people, but Receptionists are really not good with communicating in English, I am extremely frustrated with how little English they understood over email. They turned my whole booking experience into a nightmare for us. They also tried to overcharge us, tried to charge 290USD instead of 97USD upon checkin. They did not provide us 2 single beds as promised. Overall I am very regretful to book this hotel, totally killed the vibe of our vacation. We stayed in much cheaper hotels with much better hospitality and amenities. Dont come here if you're under 40. Probably boring families would have a better experience here.
