Arrived home from here on Thurs 30/10/25. I travelled with my two daughters age 17 and 15. I was worried after seeing some reviews and that we were going late season. I shouldn't have worried. We had a lovely time. The place was clean, I agree rooms maybe need some upgrades but ours was more than adequate for our needs. Kids paid for room WiFi which worked fine but I was happy with access around the rest of the hotel. We all enjoyed the food, knowing that if we (the girls) didn't fancy the themed night food there was always pasta or chips etc. As for the staff, considering they were about a week away from completing a long season they were fabulous. The team in the restaurant worked so hard and the bar staff worked equally as hard, despite some very rude guests! We sauntered down to the nearest supermarket and also took a taxi to the old town, again everyone was so friendly. I would recommend. Thanks team Mediterraneo!

I stayed at Hotel Mediteraneo at the end of October. Overall, the hotel itself is very nice – clean and comfortable rooms, tasty (though limited) food, and friendly ladies at the reception. The location is beautiful, with amazing views and gorgeous palm trees by one of the pools.
Unfortunately, there were some serious issues with the staff. Two security guards were often drinking alcohol instead of doing their job, and later became aggressive towards guests — completely unacceptable behavior in a hotel.
But the worst part of my stay was definitely the bar staff. The bartenders were extremely rude, arrogant, and unprofessional from start to finish. They clearly disliked serving guests, often ignored people at the bar, and treated some with open disrespect. They even watched what guests had on their tables before deciding whether to serve them drinks. It was frustrating and ruined the whole atmosphere.
It’s a real shame because the hotel itself has so much potential — beautiful surroundings, good food, and nice reception staff — but the behavior of the bartenders and the security guards completely spoiled what could have been a great experience.
I would recommend this hotel only if you have a lot of patience and don’t mind dealing with rude and unprofessional staff.

Hotel is great. Room was clean and spacious with a balcony looking towards the sea. Staff were kind and accommodating.
Food was good. What you'd expect for breakfast- eggs, toast, bacon etc. Lunch was a mix of salads, pasta and sandwich things. Dinner was very interesting as every night was a different theme. Italian, Asian, traditional Greek, street food, fish. Kept things fresh and meant you could try more interesting things.
Wifi isn't included unless you pay extra. Free WiFi in the lobby, pool and surrounding area but you need to pay of you want WiFi in the rooms.

We had lovely time this October. You feel very relaxed as staff is welcoming and kind. They do not behave like 'police'. Food is superb. Hotel very organised. Not overcrowded. Spa offers nice massage, ferrari of all massages I ever had done by Joanna- highly recommend. We arrived after midnight and were offered food which really does not happen elsewhere- so kind of reception. Beach is 5mins walk so you dont get bored. 26 degrees all week at the end of October. Highly recommend if you are looking for relaxation and not the 'policing' type hotel.

I spent a week at this hotel and things got ugly right from the start because someone took/stole my suitcase about 30 minutes after arriving.
We arrived as three families, 15 people in total. It was around 11:30pm.
We checked in and the reception man said we could go to the restaurant and eat something because they were waiting for us,and we could leave our suitcases at the reception hall and that we didn't have to worry about anything.
I left our four suitcases by the window wall to the left of the reception desk, and my siblings left them opposite the reception desk next to a pillar, and we went to eat.
We returned after about 20 minutes and noticed that my large suitcase was missing, and my sister's suitcase had been moved to the spot where our four were.Someone must have moved her suitcase a few meters away, but took mine.
I asked where is my suitcase and men from reception was surprised. He asked several times if I was sure I had it with me.I said yes,I was 1000% sure.Suitcase was with me the whole time until I went to the restaurant.I asked them to check the CCTV but it turned out they didn't have it.This was incomprehensible to me because a hotel with about 500 rooms doesn't have CCTV at the reception. They said that they don't have to have it,but for safety reasons,I think there should be CCTV at the reception. The receptionist called several rooms, but there was no suitcase.I didn't have any clothes to change into, not even a toothbrush, only what I was wearing.I felt angry and embarrassed because someone had taken my things, and the hotel tried to convince me that I had left my suitcase at the airport. The man who helped guests with the suitcases said it wasn't his job to look for my suitcase, and the receptionist snapped at me,saying I had shouted at him, it was his fault and his responsibility, because he said we could leave our luggage and we didn't have to worry about anything.
I had a very hard and stressful night, and in the morning I spoke to the manager, who may have wanted to be nice, but he was very grumpy, and even though I said that I had a suitcase with me, but he kept asking if I was sure.I suggested installing CCTV so he could see it. They called the police, the airport, and Jet2. Finally, the suitcase was find at the airport after 24 hours I don't know why and how?
I spoke to Jet2 and they apologized for the situation, but it wasn't their fault,it was the hotel's fault for not taking care of our belongings.
My sister and sister-in-law lent me their clothes so I could change into something, and I washed my underwear in the sink so I had fresh ones.I was very angry with the staff who tried to blame me, and the manager was very arrogant and grumpy. The hotel is in generally poor condition, with mold in the bathroom, cramped rooms, dingy toilets by the pool with broken locks and other doors and there's no separate smoking area, which was very inconvenient for non-smokers and children, as the hotel is supposedly kid-friendly.
The bartender (bald with a slight squint) at the pool bar kicked us out.I asked when it closes, and he said now and that all.
I don't expect VIP treatment because I'm not one,but a little courtesy and politeness from the staff would be appreciated.Only two waitresses Iva and Anna, are very nice and friendly, and the maids.
The food was so-so, just feta cheese, tzatziki, fresh salads, fruit and good ice cream.
Kebabs are pre-made luncheon meats available everywhere, fries and plenty of fried food.
I wasn't hungry, but I expected a wider selection of Greek cuisine. The day before my daughter had a stomach ache, she said she was fed up with all the pre-made food.
During breakfast,a cockroach fell from the ceiling two tables in front of me 😵💫,this isn't a four-star hotel - I rate it 2 stars.
I've stayed in many places and I can compare.
My family was very supportive during my stay, and I'm more grateful to them.
I don't recommend it and I won't go back there even for free.
The area around the pool is very dirty.
