My wife and I just got home to Ireland after a week in stalis ,crete. We stayed at the dionysos apartments and studios. Exceptional is too small a word. We were late getting to dionysos but Alex who greeted us couldn't have been more helpful. Although the bar was close to closing at the time ,Alex went out of his way to cook us two fantastic cheeseburgers as it was too late to stroll anywhere. The next morning ,we couldn't believe the scenery that surrounded us firstly but how relaxed the dionysos was . Situated only 10 minutes walk from the main shopping resort area ,a pleasant walk I might add , and also had the katarina supermarket right next door. So convenient . We stocked up on nessessary items for the week. Alex and his family served us some great food over the week and gave us tips on what to do and where to go,what to see. Very friendly and professional atmosphere. Everyone staying there seemed to be very relaxed . Stalis was fantastic. So clean ,so friendly and the food was fantastic wherever we went. We would highly recommend dionysos as a place to stay . Alex organised our transfer back to heraklion airport to return home and I can only say ,VIP transfer. The lady who cleaned the rooms and kept the apartments stocked was amazing . We couldn't be more grateful for a fantastic experience.

Absolutely fabulous would highly recommended. Definitely will come back. Staff and owner Alex made u feel so welcomed. Apartments were spotless, cleaning lady was lovely. Would not fault the place and food was lovely. Views of the mountains were amazing.

I want to leave my sincere review about this trip 😍 We visited this hotel at the end of July and were very worried that for such a price - there would be not very good conditions, especially some negative reviews here were alarming. However - this family is simply incredible people who created coziness around themselves. Upon arrival, we were checked in earlier - and shown to a room with air conditioning, the number of beds was also taken into account. Inside there was everything you need. We relaxed in the territory of the incredible pool, and later we simply fell in love with the golden hands of the chef, who made us pita with tzatziki and an incredible chicken roll. Every Thursday they have a barbecue evening - I have never eaten anything more delicious. There was also a mini kitchen in the room, so we prepared breakfasts ourselves, and had dinner on the territory of the hotel. We had to walk 10 minutes to the sea, and 7 minutes to the nearest transport stop. With all our love and pleasure, we want to express our gratitude to these people, you made our vacation unforgettable 🥰 Hugs from Ukraine 🩷

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The owner and his wife started harassing us during our stay, demanding extra money for our child — more than half the total booking price! When I calmly explained my point, they simply refused to speak to me anymore, as if I had no right to question them. For two days, they kept coming back to pressure us, completely ruining our vacation. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. Avoid this place if you want peace and respect.
