Really good medium size hotel right next to the beach and marina. This place is beautifully designed and decorated, especially the cocktail bar downstairs is a superb place to chill. Kind and helpful staff, good restaurant with plenty of vegetarian options. Sea view room with balcony wasn't maybe the biggest, but the view was worth every penny. The roof pools are very small but without crowds at this time of the year it was nice to chill there. Great panoramic view from the roof deck. Great location also.

I would feel quite indifferent about recommending Las Arenas. It is quite unlikely I would stay at this hotel again for a number of reasons though the main one being the Restaurant Manager who completely ruined the start of our holiday, a holiday that we have work hard to afford and for what we had waited a long time to share with family for a very special occasion. Whilst the hotel was clean and modern with a good breakfast, the evening meal selection was poor for vegetarian choice and the allergen advice was particularly very poor and quite concerning. Just one example being that there were peanuts mixed in with rice, this was a major concern for us because such a high risk allergen was not well advertised when we had a anaphylaxis risk with one member in our party, indeed what was the purpose of peanuts in plain rice?! The Restaurant Manager (Nicholas) ruined the first morning of my holiday and it took a good few days for me to move on from this experience. I emailed the hotel twice to inform them of my complaint though I received no response, I also tried to inform Reception though I found the moderate level of spoken English to make this somewhat difficult to achieve efficiently. The hotel felt considerably almost regimented, breakfast finished at 10.30am and there was no running over time, on our first morning we were actually shouted at by the Restaurant Manager when we were finishing off breakfast at 10.35am, this was simply unacceptable. Normally you can leave the restaurant and take a coffee, but not in the Las Arenas. The first breakfast in the hotel very much marred my whole experience and ruined the start of my 50th birthday celebration and our wedding anniversary, this being the last holiday we are likely to have as a family and a holiday that was very much needed following a very serious illness, The room we had was large, clean and relatively comfortable yet the shower ran hot and cold and the frosted glass between the bathroom and bedroom was made for a less than modest shower/toilet experience. There was a considerable draft coming through the patio door. I was woken up very early every day because of the poor quality of the patio door, the noise below our room was unexpected. It became obvious we were above the hotel kitchen hence every morning I was woken early due to delivery vehicles, people shouting/speaking excessively loudly and the alarm from the bin lorries, plus the dog barking and people shouting in the residential accommodation opposite the hotel. In respect to the poor quality patio door, it would have been very easy to have been locked out on the patio and indeed, this did happen to one of the Domestic Assistants of whom we had to help when she became locked out on a neighbouring balcony one morning when the door clicked locked very easily on closing. There were a number of excessive charges such as 40 euros for safe deposit hire (non refundable) and the double sun loungers on the roof terrace were between 40 and 90 euros to hire (though I believe you also received a sandwich and drink within this price). Whilst the hotel was fairly well located, very clean and the majority of the staff were hard working and pleasant, I would not consider this a 4 star hotel nor would I probably stay here again, there were other local hotels of which we have stayed in Can Pastilla and had a much better holiday experience.

We stayed 10 nights, first week October 25.
Double Standard Room (SeaView, with Balcony)
Breakfast included.
Overall, an enjoyable stay. Let down by restaurant manager, and some annoying, petty rules: The use of the room safe, attracts a fee of 30 Euro. Can’t use room Key / room account, for bar purchases - cash or card only.
Not allowed to take drinks, or coffee, to room.
A bit on the expensive side.
Great location - facing promenade, almost on the beach.
Very clean, very modern decor, well maintained.. Excellent public areas / lounges - extensive and comfortable .
Good entertainment in evenings.
Slow bar service due to shortage of staff.
Hotel takes coach party’s, this impacts on bar and breakfast / restaurant service.
Safe, Modern lifts - but, only two, which accommodate 4 passengers each, so can be a long wait.
Bedrooms are clean, comfortable and attractive, “Modern / Minimalistic “ - No drawers. Open, hanging spaces ( with a limited few “captive“ hangers) and very few shelves.
Large numbers of well positioned (2pin) power outlets in bedrooms. No kettle or iron.
Missing a “make up” mirror over desk!
Very comfortable beds. Great Shower.
Balcony, with two chairs and coffee table.
Good AirCon.
WiFi pretty good, measured 92 Mbps download, in bedroom.
Excellent Cleaning staff: friendly, polite, helpful and efficient 👏👏
Two moderate size swimming pools. The ground floor pool doesn’t catch the sun. Other pool is located on the roof / 7th floor, with nice views, but limited space. Don’t try repositioning chairs, to suit your group, or staff will pounce!
Excellent breakfast - large choice, good variety - buffet / self service. Adequate tables, except when bus trip are in hotel.
But - Don’t dare enter near to closing (10:30am), or stay even slightly longer.
The restaurant Manager struts around, like a mini General, shouting “closed”, and (almost physically) ushering people from their tables. And, don’t think about taking your part drunk coffee with you - he demands the cup!
When he was told that certain items of food, had run out - 30 min before closing - his response was , “ when it’s gone, it’s gone”😡
Regularly, up to two, of 4 coffee points runs out, again causing long queues, which are ignored by staff.
All somewhat intimidating and stress inducing, for what is advertised, and charged as, an upmarket hotel - so much for 4 star, rating

We stayed at the hotel for 7 days. We have been to several hotels in Mallorca before, and fortunately, we got a room without through traffic in front of it, so it was very quiet. The view from the room was also great. On the first day, the shower head had to be replaced, which was resolved quickly. Cleaning was fine, and the staff were extremely kind. Breakfast was average – a typical island breakfast. What really bothered me was the level of sweetness of the fruit juices; they were almost undrinkable for me. Regarding dinner, the selection of hot dishes could be larger. During meals, it was extremely disturbing that the staff placed dirty plates on a cart next to the guests and often left them there. The hotel does not have its own parking; it is only possible to park in the surrounding streets.

This should really be a 3 star hotel.
Overall, it's a nice place to stay. Close to the airport, super close to the beach and restaurants.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Food is poor quality. Good variety but the quality is below standards, especially for a 4 star. What really doesn't work is also that they make you pay for beverages separately,
Including water (and yes, even with half-board included).
There's a general feeling staff is rushing you. During meals they chase you to replace your cutlery ready for the next guest even when you're not finished. Plenty of times I've had my food removed while getting coffee.
Same feeling for room cleaning, they come at random times knocking at the door with no system in place. This removes all the comfort of a relaxing place to spend your holiday.
Only 2 slow elevators for the entire hotel are not enough. Not very accessible for those not able to take stairs.
They advertise a gym, but it's a tiny room with nothing inside. Very very poorly managed.
