Weather

There’s no perfect time to visit Palma, the city is a brilliant all-year round destination, with a bustling calendar of events. As for the weather, Palma enjoys regular sunshine throughout the year with mild winters and hot summers.

  • In January and February, Palma welcomes mild temperatures of 10 - 15 degrees Celsius as we edge closer towards spring. January and February is the perfect time to visit Palma and many visit to escape the dull British winter.
  • In March and April, Palma starts to feel a lot warmer with the introduction of spring. Temperatures around this time of year often average around 12 - 18 degrees. It’s worth packing a pair of shorts just in case!
  • In May, the first signs of summer can be felt with temperatures starting to creep into the early 20s. You can often get a great deal on a Palma holiday, as the month falls before the half term and school holidays.
  • In June, Palma really begins to heat up with guaranteed sunshine and temperatures sitting around the mid 20s and rarely falling below 21.
  • July and August are Palma’s hottest months. The temperature in Palma often sits comfortably around the mid 20s but can soar as far as the early 30s on hot days. Grab your swimming costume and head for the beach! Just don’t forget your sunscreen.
  • In September, Palma enjoys much of this same hot weather. With the kids back at school, this is the perfect time for a late summer holiday to Majorca with temperatures staying around the mid to high 20s!
  • In October, the weather in Palma is still warm and pleasant. The temperature by now will usually drop to around 18, but some days still make it into the 20s. Don’t put your shorts and t-shirt away just yet!
  • November and December in Palma sees the introduction of Majorca’s winter - if you can call it that. The city is noticeably more mild, but at a cool 12 - 14 degrees it certainly beats being back in the UK.
