Just back from a week at the Arena Beach hotel.
The hotel reception staff gave us the loveliest welcome which set the standard for our stay and I can honestly say that the team here really make it welcoming and warm - particular note to Marco and Pablo who went above and beyond to make everyone's stay brilliant.
This is a great hotel/complex. Almost all rooms have a pool view, either of the main pool or the smaller salt water pool and kiddies pools.
The room we were in (221) was well appointed, almost spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and choice of pillows.
The kitchen seemingly had everything you'd need.. we were all inclusive so didn't use it at all.
The only negatives were cosmetic; the string was starting to come free of the lounge light fitting (why not just have a clean white one? A couple of patches of rust and flaking enamel on rim of bath and a whacking great break to the fridge lining drawer (only noticed on our last day).
The food here was better than expected for a three star- we had exceptional meals every day, personally the Canarian dishes were a highlight, especially the goat and squash dishes.
The upstairs bar was our favourite spot with the choice of cocktails a nice surprise
When checking out, you can book the courtesy suite (shower) leaving refreshed after making the most of your time by the pool.
Beach/pool towels require at €10 cash deposit each, and can be exchanged for clean ones any time.
There is a cash machine in reception which charges €6 or abouts for withdrawals (not far off what almost every other machine charges)
Entertainment was fun to say the least and the events team were brilliant; engaging and enthusiastic but not overbearing.
The Arena Beach was perfectly situated for us; a little bit away from the main town but a pleasant walk to the beach and shops - we went jogging every morning and you can plan a very nice 5k, taking in the main street and beaches on your circuit.
Many thanks to the team for a delightful break.

Just back from my second time staying at arena beach with my grandson, daughter and son in law.It was such a fun time. The weather was beautiful though it did start a little drizzle just before we left for the airport but was gone in minutes.
On arrival which was around 11.30pm as flight was delayed the restaurants and snack bars were all closed, the lady in reception requested one of the staff to organise something for us. So we put our bags in our adjoining apartments and returned to a very nice cold buffet for the 4 of us. Very thoughtful.
The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Some of the areas need a bit updating but the maintenance staff are always on anything that needs attention quickly. In fact anything you require is dealt with efficiently. The food was plentiful, good and varied. The restaurant and bar staff work really hard to keep everything running smoothly. I feel I need to mention Kinga and especially Pedro the upstairs barman who was always keen to make sure everything was as it should be and we were happy with everything.
The entertainment was varied and good fun though I have to say the girl Maria that sorts out the entertainment absolutely made our stay such fun. She makes everyone feel important by remembering names and always full of enthusiasm. Her energy is infectious. Such an asset to the place. In fact everyone of the staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. I know we will return.

Perfect stay at Arena Beach ....No complaints total value for money All inclusive...Food served in Restaurant was excellent....themed daily but a great choice didn't have any complaints about anything so tasty . Room 131 was more than adequate and comfortable position was excellent next to smaller pool area if your required at quieter place to be. All staff very friendly helpful and attentive. Would I return....YES definitely. Total value for money in a clean hotel with hard working staff to maintain it. We both enjoyed our stay thank you very much ....comes well recommended. 😊

My 4th visit here and will definitely be back. Very friendly place, good environment and food. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The main asset here are the staff, every member of staff are cheerful and friendly. Big shout out to Maria and Stefano on the animation team who work tirelessly to provide entertainment and a special mention to Pedro who works in the upstairs bar, he goes above and beyond to keep his guests happy, definitely an asset to the hotel.

We recently stayed at Arena Beach Hotel and had a genuinely lovely holiday.
This isn’t a luxury hotel, and I think its official three-star rating is fair in terms of facilities and finish. That said, I absolutely loved staying here, and for overall experience it deserves five stars from me.
Normally it takes me a couple of days to settle into a hotel, but from the moment we arrived I felt completely at home. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming and friendly, and it made for a really easy, restful holiday.
The staff were excellent across the board, and the animation team in particular did a great job. There was different entertainment every evening, which was well organised and enjoyable without feeling overbearing.
Our room had clearly been recently refurbished. It was spacious, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. One thing worth mentioning is that if you’re on the ground floor, you can hear movement from rooms above due to tiled floors. This wasn’t an issue for us as our neighbours were quiet, but it’s something to be aware of.
The pool area was another highlight. It was clean, well laid out and the heated pool was perfect for a winter break. My only small criticism is that the communal areas could benefit from a bit more frequent clearing of glasses and wiping of tables — it felt like the team just needed an extra pair of hands at busy times rather than there being a real cleanliness issue.
The food exceeded expectations. There was a really good choice of proteins every night, including meat and fish, along with varied and well-thought-out side dishes. The themed evenings — Italian, Tex-Mex, Mexican, North African and others — kept things interesting, and we were consistently happy with the quality and variety.
Drinks were simple but perfectly fine for an all-inclusive setup. Beer, wine, soft drinks and coffee were self-service, which added to the relaxed feel. We didn’t try the cocktails, but that wasn’t important to us.
The hotel is a little walk from the centre of Corralejo, but we actually enjoyed this. It gave us a chance to walk things off and balance out the all-inclusive indulgence, and the area itself felt calm and friendly.
Overall, I’d describe Arena Beach as cheap and cheerful in the best possible way — homely, welcoming, relaxed, with good food, comfortable rooms and a great atmosphere. It’s not about luxury; it’s about feeling comfortable and enjoying yourself, and on that front it absolutely delivered.
We had a great time and would happily return. I’d also recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, no-nonsense, enjoyable all-inclusive holiday.
