Stayed here for 3 nights, basic all inclusive, room cleaning is virtually non existent and when they do come in they take all the towels, flannels away and don’t replace them, they leave the bins in the room full so everything is now overflowing as there is no where else to but rubbish, do not get no coffee in the rooms and it doesn’t matter if you complain to reception they just don’t care they say there is nothing they can do and they are minor issues. Health and safety in some parts of the hotel is shocking they have dark ramps everywhere and in the dark you can not see them as they are not highlighted while we was there 5 people tripped over the ramp in the moon bar and 1 poor lady had her toenail ripped out and had to go to the doctors and had to pay 300 euros to have the nail sorted out!, and again the hotel just doesn’t care and shrugs their shoulders. Entertainment all I can say is what entertainment??

We had a wonderful vacation at this all inclusive hotel, which also had a private beach. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming, the hotel had two swimming pools with various water slides, the buffet had all sorts of delicious food of outstandig quality. In addition, this hotel has very good photographers, who took amazing pictures of my family and I, with their own brought parrots and lizards, beside the beach and pool, which form very good memories. On my last day, I felt I was really going to miss this place. Thank you Grand Kaptan Hotel.

The hotel itself is OK, bartenders, waiters are friendly, food is good . However, the general look is old and some areas not well maintained - like children's mini club and slides.
Water in swimming pool during our stay was 16-18 degrees, barely anyone was swimming.
Huge advantage is access to beach with clean, warm water, nice and friendly beach restaurant which was our most pleasant surprise. Greets for Moustafa;)
The biggest minus for us was co-operation of Grand Kaptan with Holiday Expert. They are holidays representatives selling deals that don't exist, their opinion on google is 1,6 it's a shame we only checked it afterwards. They lie, they don't refund even after not providing what was promised and timely cancelation (due to not providing agreed service in Grand Hamam Alanya which is also cheats on customers) they use word tricks to sell under pressure and when troubles or complaints appear - they avoid responsibility.
Grand Kaptan, please check who do you let into your hotel (holiday Expert representative) because they are influencing the atmosphere and opinion about the hotel in a very negative way.
One more remark - capacity of a'la carte restaurant is not enough for all guests, even at the end of the season.

An old 2.5-star hotel. On the 1st floor, some of the rooms have an awful smell of old furniture. It is not suitable for people with allergies. Same plain food every day, canteen type food. Very limited range of drinks. Plastic plates and glasses are used outside the main restaurant. There is no air conditioning in the halls and in the main restaurant.
The pictures on the site have almost nothing to do with reality. The only nice place is where they make Pita .

My recent stay at the Grand Kaptan Hotel in Alanya was quite disappointing, with only a few positives to note. Here are some of the key issues that made my stay less than enjoyable:
Poor WiFi Service: The hotel only offers WiFi in the lobby, and even then, the connection was unreliable and slow. In today's world, having free, accessible WiFi throughout the hotel is a standard expectation, especially for a hotel that claims to be 5-star. This was a significant inconvenience during my stay.
Unfriendly Staff: The restaurant manager, along with several employees, were quite rude and unwelcoming. It was clear that the staff did not enjoy their jobs, and this lack of enthusiasm and customer service greatly affected the overall atmosphere of the hotel.
Serious Food Safety Concerns: Unfortunately, we experienced significant food-related issues during our stay. We saw multiple guests getting sick, and my family and I also fell ill after eating at the hotel's restaurant. We suffered from vomiting and diarrhea for several days, which was both distressing and unacceptable. This raises serious concerns about the hotel's food hygiene and safety standards.
Limited Entertainment for Kids: One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was for its advertised mini club and children's entertainment. However, there was a notable lack of activities for kids. While my children did enjoy the swimming pools and slides, the slides were only open during specific hours (9-11 AM and 2-4 PM), and the pool was closed for an entire day during our stay. This was very disappointing and did not meet our expectations.
Not Truly All-Inclusive: The hotel fails to live up to its all-inclusive promise. Between 4-7 PM, there were no snacks or food available, and from 11 AM to 4 PM, the only snack option was flatbread. There were no healthier options such as fruit. I have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts around the world, and this was by far the worst in terms of food availability and variety.
The One Bright Spot - The Spa: The only aspect of my stay that I truly enjoyed was the massage service. The massage therapists, Pebri and Dayu, were both kind and professional. Pebri, in particular, provided exceptional service with her firm, medical massages that were incredibly relaxing and well-executed. This was a highlight of my otherwise disappointing stay.
Overall, the Grand Kaptan Hotel does not live up to its 5-star rating and certainly does not offer a true all-inclusive experience. I would not recommend this hotel due to the poor WiFi, unfriendly staff, serious food safety issues, limited entertainment, and lack of proper all-inclusive amenities. However, if you are looking for a good massage, Pebri and Dayu at the spa are fantastic. Nonetheless, the negatives far outweigh this small positive, and I would advise looking elsewhere for a more enjoyable and reliable vacation experience.
