We arrived at the Ramada Hotel in Side on March 16, 2025, as a group of eight young people. Overall, we rate our stay very positively – everything was fine and we took home beautiful memories.
The food was rather average, but the selection was sufficient and there was always something good to choose from. A big advantage of the hotel is its location – close to the sea, with beautiful views and a pleasant atmosphere.
The nearest larger city, Manavgat, is about 30 minutes away by car, which might be a disadvantage for some, but it is definitely worth visiting. The city is beautiful and has an excellent market where you can buy anything from A to Z.
There are also quad bike and motorbike rentals near the hotel, as well as the option to go on safari tours with professional guides, which was a great experience.
Thank you to the Ramada Hotel and the city of Manavgat for unforgettable memories – we definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a seaside holiday with the option of excursions.

This hotel completely ruined our holiday. There were 12 of us in our group, and every single one of us became violently ill with sickness and diarrhoea during our stay — and we’re still not fully recovered even after getting home. Speaking to other guests, it was clear we weren’t the only ones – so many people were ill.
From the moment we arrived, it was a disaster. We got there around 10pm to find no food available at all and nowhere open to get anything to eat. The room was filthy – toothpaste smeared on the wall and mirror, bathroom dirty, and the whole place smelt of sewage. The rooms were old, poorly maintained, and the beds weren’t changed once in the whole week.
Most rooms are directly above the lobby area, which was constantly noisy late into the night, making it impossible to sleep. Between the noise, the smell, and being so unwell, we barely rested all week.
The restaurant was disgusting. Tables were sticky and dirty, cups and cutlery filthy, and the food was always cold. There were cats everywhere – climbing on tables, wandering through the restaurant, even pooing on the lobby stairs. The stairs stank of cat urine, and there was cat mess all along the border by the restaurant. Completely unhygienic.
We complained to guest relations, but they couldn’t have cared less. No apology, no action, nothing.
This place should be shut down until they sort out the hygiene and health issues. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy stay here. Avoid at all costs – absolutely vile.

Avoid! Dreadful hotel with only one positive. The weather was nice & warm in late October during our stay. Awful food & drinks. No wonder they do all-inclusive as if you had to pay for this stuff then no one would bother. Every dish is cold, even the soup - and yes, no supper for us on arrival. Just late night soup at 11:30 p.m. Everything is fried in some kind of evil oil which makes the food taste horrible. I got food poisoning on day 2 and ate virtually nothing for the rest of the week. The bathroom was not cleaned after this episode! The EasyJet hotel director needs to be sacked for sending Brits to this place. Just horrible throughout ...

This is the first time I give a 1 star rating to any hotel. Stay away from this hotel at any cost!!
I travel extensively worldwide and have stayed in many hotels and hotel brands over the past 30 years. I must say that Ramada Resort Side is probably my worst experience so far! I now deeply regret staying here, as it was such an unfortunate decision.
The food hygiene is terrible, and stray cats are everywhere, including the restaurant and main lobby. There is a serious "fly" problem at the level of infestation. Flies are all over the food. Hotel cleanliness is a disgrace. But worst of all, the staff are extremely impolite. You often hear staff commenting, "This is not my hotel; if you do not like it, do not come back." This is a terrible comment that should never be made by any staff member involved in guest relations.
My complaint to Guest Relations was also handled very lightly, which shows that this toxic culture is deeply ingrained in the hotel's management style. Internet is only available in the lobby which is extremely slow. No internet service in the rooms. You'd need to pay extra for a "fast" internet service...This was such a terrible experience, and I honestly hope I never experience such a bad stay again.
It requires a complete mindset and management change to sort things out in this hotel.
I have updated my rating to two stars following a visit from the guest relations manager this morning. She was very polite and accommodating. I expressed my concerns directly to her, and she said she would take the necessary actions to improve and address the complaints. This was a clear gesture of goodwill by the management, and I do hope that improvements are made during the following season. Until then, my rating stays at two stars.

We stayed 3 nights at the Ramada Hotel – the food was mediocre, repetitive, and traditional desserts like baklava were missing. New Year’s Eve was especially disappointing: the table was not properly set, and there were no salads, appetizers, champagne, or fortune pie. It seemed that leftovers from previous days were used in the New Year’s menu. The rooms are neglected, and the service does not meet 5-star hotel standards. We hope the hotel will address these issues and improve the guest experience.”
