Stayed here for 4 nights I wish it was longer. The room was beautiful and clean. Cleaners came daily and they are great at their jobs. Reception staff very friendly, approachable and helpful. Any ask of them was no problem, they were very informative. I had no problems here at all except I think my kids were giving the lifeguards heart palpitations, they also were great at their jobs. All staff were full of smiles I really cannot complain it was lovely to see. I would definitely go again.

Our overall impression was… well, okay. It really depends on what you’re used to, but we definitely had to lower our expectations a bit. Everything felt a little mediocre.. the food, the service, the drink selection, the room, the entertainment. Not terrible, just not great either.
The surrounding area didn’t help much, as there isn’t a lively boulevard with shops or terraces to wander around. That meant we were mostly dependent on the hotel itself. On the first day the entertainment was very loud, with blasting music and the animation team shouting constantly into the microphone. Luckily, the following days were much calmer and perfectly manageable.
We briefly considered switching to the other pool, but the vibe there was the complete opposite.. a bit too quiet and lifeless. A little energy is fine, just not that much
A special shout-out, though, to the lifeguard in the bright green shirt. You can tell he takes his job seriously. Constantly attentive, always on the move, and clearly dedicated. We joked about how many kilometres he must be walking in a single day. I don’t think you’re likely to drown under his watch.. except maybe between 5 and 6 p.m., when he’s busy helping to collect all the sunbeds and umbrellas.
The buffet restaurant took some getting used to. It felt chaotic, with people rushing around, and the atmosphere wasn’t exactly relaxing. The hotel seems to cater mainly to a British crowd, which also sets a certain tone. We also tried the Italian restaurant, but it wasn’t really an upgrade from the main buffet. The space felt a bit bland and the food was nothing special. If you’re expecting a cozy, intimate dinner experience, you might want to readjust your expectations.. Or simply dine elsewhere.
A small note on the all-inclusive concept: not everything is actually included. The drink selection is quite limited, and even basic things like ice creams aren’t part of the package.
Overall, we had an okay stay, but nothing memorable. For us, it’s a solid 3 out of 5 and we don’t think we’d return.

I loved staying here, the rooms were massive and really clean, we had room 475 and it had a great view from the balcony to watch the evening entertainment which was great with a show on every night . There are loads of sun loungers and space so even though people putting towels out early we didn’t bother as there was always room and beds available. The daytime entertainment was round one of the pools the other one was quiet if you wanted peace. The animation team were so much fun but not pushy, I enjoyed watching all the games they were playing with the guests that wanted to join in. The food was fine had everything you could want for breakfast lunch and dinner and there’s a snack bar at the pool if you just want to eat burgers and chips or pizza , they also had fresh fruit and ice cream. The bars weren’t too busy the quieter pool bar never really had a queue but the other one got busy but nothing too bad. The hotel was so clean and all staff went out of their way to make you happy. We will probably go back next year as it’s just such a easy going fun hotel.

This was our first holiday to Tenerife and we would definitely come back just not to this hotel unfortunately. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful. The room lacked the essentials needed for a self catering holiday, for example we had to ask for a kettle, this was due to kettles apparently being sparse which is strange. No spatulas or tea towels to clean and wipe the dishes. The room however was clean and spacious. Unfortunately our last 2 days the shower room was leaking, we suspect it was a leak from the room upstairs but after reporting this to reception twice the problem wasn't fixed. We also saw people add the towels to the sun loungers as early as 7am and then leave them there all day with no usage. The hotel needs to clamp down on that nonsense as it's unfair to others who want to use the pool. The hotel though is in a great location with shops and bars nearby. What made us decide though not to return for a visit is that on our last day reception called our room at 12.30pm and told use very rudely that check out was at 12pm despite not being told this earlier. It put a damper on what was a decent holiday. For all the reasons listed above we don't think we will return but the town itself was great.

We stayed as a family (2 adults and a 14-year-old child) and with a couple of friends, for a total of 5 people.
We booked through Booking.com: one room for 3 adults and another for 2 adults. Upon arrival on 01/11, we were told that the room for 3 was actually booked for 2, and the room for 2 was booked for 1 person only. After checking with Booking, the reservation was correct.
Faced with this situation, the hotel initially demanded €1,160 per additional person, significantly higher than the original booking price of €1,130 per person, without offering any commercial solution or informing us that canceling the stay would result in losing our deposit.
After Booking intervened, a compromise was reached, and the price was reduced to €690 per person. We had no choice but to accept.
The receptionist, although French-speaking, was unhelpful and unfriendly. Several clients have reported similar experiences, suggesting a potentially abusive practice.
Rooms are spacious and acceptable but poorly soundproofed.
Maîtresses are adequate, but pillows are very uncomfortable.
No explanation was given about restaurant hours or facility maps upon arrival.
Breakfast was acceptable but nothing special.
Lunch and dinner were repetitive, dishes often dirty, and plastic cups emitted an unpleasant odor.
Most staff were cold and inattentive to hygiene.
Conclusion:
After 25 years of traveling in the Canary Islands, this was our most disappointing stay. Globales Tamaimo Tropical does not meet the advertised standards, and we cannot recommend this hotel.
